Good service and friendliness from the staff, it has adults only areas and the food is rich and very varied. A bit of cleanliness is missing in the lounge chair area of the beach, unfortunately the people are very dirty and leave garbage that the cleaning staff does not pick up. Oh and be careful with the lady who attends in the souvenir and clothing store, almost bites, is rude and when she is spoken to does not answer, that's why the store is always empty.

Excellent resort delicious food rooms in excellent condition and all its facilities top notch.

One of the reception at night is very rude and made us look stupid. Ivan the Waiter in Italian restaurant is very rude but Miss Daisy at the Restaurant is very very helpfull and kind. Need more like her. Overall our stay is good. Need more flavor on the foods.

Services was great but reception is not. I made my reservation from 03/24/2022 through 04/01/2022 with sea view and bathroom for a person with disabilities when I got there it was not the room. I have to switch a room there and the guys on the reception are rude. What the website sales is not what you get. I was disappointed but others employees made a great stay.

i have had a very bad time in this place I have been treated very badly as if I were a criminal these people have zero common sense are people who do not have the preparation for the positions they occupy
I have four rooms and I have been treated very badly by these three people
They made me get out of the pool and solve the problem while wet by staying in the lobby for more than an hour without having any regard for myself.

It is an excellent hotel with a lot of attention to guests and you have everything with all the security and its meals excellent too.

Los Cabos is beautiful itself. This hotel is very nice as well. Excellent view of the ocean. All the staff were amazing. Sometimes things are a bit rushed during check in so make sure you schedule your covid test and excursions.

All his collaborators are extremely kind. From our arrival, and until the day we left, our whole stay was very pleasant thanks to each of them.
Despite the protocols due to covid, there was nothing wrong, only the nightly shows are missed, but everything is perfect.
The facilities very well, very clean rooms and maintenance in all areas, is indicated.

Quiet place to relax and super awesome friendly staff.

This resort is good at one thing… being consistently inconsistent. Traveled with large group, each of us receiving different answers to the same questions. Front desk service was rude. Our large group experienced very similar feelings about our experience. Rooms cleaned but towels not left. Attempted to call guest services several times with no answer. We were set up for Covid testing when the doctor wasn’t even there. Food was subpar. We ended up leaving the resort a few times to experience better food. I would never return here and I would never recommend to family or friends.

The staff, the service… Everything was top notch!
The grounds on the property are expertly maintained. Many choices of pools (the large hot whirlpool was my favorite).
There's also a wonderful beachfront to walk. At night, the waves hitting the shore will lull you to sleep at night.
Ivan Hernandez will take excellent care of you poolside as will Juan Carlos.
Concierge Luis Cortez is an expert with information and ensuring a fabulous guest experience.
EVERY staff member at the resort was professional, welcoming and friendly.
Overall, an excellent resort choice in Cabo!

I loved this hotel. It was so beautiful. There were ups and downs of the place. The pools were FREEZING. I was really looking forward to the pools. There were 2 that were even slightly warm enough to get in. The best part of the resort was Ivan. He was hands down the best person there. The beach was lovely. I was sad when I learned the water wasn’t actually swimmable. In all we had a great time and would go back.

I congratulate you, having a pandemic trip made us consider several options and certainly having chosen them was the best.
The cleanliness, order and manner in which they manage restaurants and activities in a responsible manner.
My first Experience in the Capes in its premier class with unlimited food and drinks with amazing service and attention, on-time checking, Cabo adventures activities. Transportation, waiters, waitresses … all excellent. I certainly hope to go back to my whole family.

Today is our last day here.
We were Premium members and the service, cleanliness, and attentiveness of the staff was impeccable. If you are a Premium Member I highly suggest using the Premium Bar outside. Ivan H. Is the best bartender / service I've ever had. His attentiveness and conversation is so welcoming and he always makes sure you have a drink or water in your hand.

I recommend this hotel, clean, peaceful, beautiful beach great location very relaxing but the most important thing is the people the workers! Specially the waiters, busboys, gardeners, cooks, the front desk. They were all amazing thank you.

We are still here having a great time. Our waiter Guillermo at the buffet albatross is the best, great English and great waiter, goes above for you. Rafael at the swim up bar is awesome he remembers your drink and treats you above and beyond. The beach front view is beautiful great clean rooms. The security personal are great on top of everything. From baggage Rafael to hostess at the premium level office check in Luis and the cocktail waitress Maria in the office and everyone else very friendly also the restaurants are great the pool waiters especially Francisco. To the general manager we talked about the sky bar they are all attentive. We will definitely book another Barceló stay. Thank you to the security for the information on getting busses to town and keeping us safe by the front and beach. P westbay.

Amazing resort, wonderful surroundings that are very well maintained! Lovely staff! One of the reasons we have come to love this resort even more is because of the lovely staff! Glerbin hss been our waiter at the buffet a number of nights. He has gone above and beyond for us. He is a true ambassador for this resort and we are fortunate to have met him.

What an amazing resort! Definitely worth the upgrade for VIP. Loved the infinity pool & the hammocks — never used the swim up bar since it wasn't adults only. All the staff were so cheerful, helpful & accommodating! Thanks to Jorge for always having our drinks refilled by the pool! Breakfast bar was our favorite & the sunrises are to DIE FOR! Overall good food, the best staff, and the sky bar has the best views. So many things I could talk about — from trivia by the pool, to the shows at night, to the 5 star service we received around the clock from the staff. THANK YOU BARCELO <3 We will be back!

This was hands down the best vacation we have ever been on! Just got back from a week-long Honeymoon, and the experience here was amazing! The staff (check-in, wait staff, bartenders, bellhops, etc) were just excellent! Special shout-out to Felix and Marten for always going above and beyond! Our room was beautiful as well as our view from our balcony. We were sad you can't swim in the ocean, but Barcelo made up for that in the rest of the amenities! My favorite was the infinity pool and swim up bar! Fabulous! Will be back for sure! And highly recommend.

Looks like it was a nice place back when it was originally built. Now the concrete is badly cracked and most of the restaurants were closed for some reason. They have a really great feature in their lookout tower bar though. If you can get up in the tower the panoramic view of San Jose del Cabo is awesome.

My girlfriend and I have stayed at this location a couple of times and every time, we had an amazing experience. The last time we stayed, was earlier this year in April. We came back to this resort expecting no less. Unfortunately, we had some set-backs on the day we arrived. The next day, we brought our concerns to the attention of the Property Manager, Jorge. He went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Jorge was extremely polite, attentive, and very caring over the duration of our stay. We could not be happier with the quality of the time spent at this resort.
The staff at this resort was amazing as well, and they continue to show it every time we stay there. I want to bring up one person in particular who always went above and beyond and treated us like we were his family. Elvis is a server who always has his undivided attention on his guests. His warm personality, along with his friendliness and smile, never goes unnoticed. He is a genuine, warm person. Elvis has managed to make an impression on us every time we have stayed at this resort.
If you are looking for a high-end resort, this is not the place to go to. Barcelo gran Faro, however, is the type of place that will treat you like family and go above and beyond for you.
They have awesome food, a great location with a beautiful beach, and an amazing staff. They will make impressions on you that will last a lifetime.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I have been to a couple Barcelo resorts, and they were all great; however, this is the WORST one! My cousins and I (a group of 20 people) traveled here thinking we were going to have the time of our lives, but we got the exact opposite. Their staff is horrible, and non accommodating. One worker tells you one thing, another worker tells you something else, and you get to your room and get something COMPLETELY different! They gave me an occupied room. I walked into a room with a lady in her towel… We all got food poisoning and a few of us ended up in the hospital. They called and woke us up at 8am every morning to give us “deals” so I ended up unplugging the phones. We had filthy sheets and towels the whole time. We paid for premium only to get regular service. We also had to switch our rooms in the middle of our stay. I cannot stress how horrible this experience was. Please do yourself a favor, and DO NOT book this disgusting place.

View is good and it has a beach access. Nice swimming pools. Too many people in the poils though. Dinner buffet is nice but lunch and breakfast are not that impressive. All inclusive. My rooms AC wasn't working properly. It was still hot with the lowest setting (it doesn't go below 18 Celsius. ) AC fan makes a constant big noise. Very loud. I don't recommend this place for your quite and relaxing vacation.

Just got back! Amazing place. Great food, family pools, adults only pool, swim up bar. The customer service 10+ Jorge Martinez and Daniel at the dinner buffet deserve and award for best customer service.
Loved them. I would definitely recommend it. I went to celebrate my birthday. They made it very special.

The staff was not attentive. We waited almost an hour in a Hot Lobby Area to check-in when we arrived. 1) wasn’t able to get a dinner reservation for the Friday since by the time we made it through the line, No More openings were available. They had a Snack Bar that includes Over cooked Dri d out Chicken Nuggets, fries and Hot dogs that were Under Cooked. (Basically food NO One should eat especially not a Vacation) The drinks and the swim up bar were Horrible! We tried sev…eral ones, they were reusing Plastic Cups which isn’t Sanitary at all! Especially when they didn’t have any Straws on the Entire Property.
2) We never received Room Credits from Hotel or the Sparkling wine that was promised since we were celebrating for a Bachelorette Weekend
3) Had a difficult get Face Towels, has to contact front desk several times
4) Hair was found in one of the Beds
5) Room Floor was Dirty, had to Wear shoes even in the shower
5) Bugs found in rooms
6) Bad Smell (Sewage, etc) The Overall Hotel Accommodations were not Acceptable. Very very disappointed Definitely not what we expect to get for what we Paid. Nor pleased at Alll!

Resort is clean, Staff is friendly, food is good. Reason for only 4 stars is the internet service is an additional cost and then it is spotty and will drop off all the time, they seem to turn it off by the pool so in the morning when I would go to read by the pool when it was quite there was no internet service at all. We came thinking this was an adult only resort but it is not. They do have a pool marked as adult only but there were kids in that pool also, so nobody was monitoring it. All in all nice place to stay, town is safe and very easy to walk around.

Barcelo Gran Faro has good food. The hotel is rarely filled to capacity. Their peak is usually 80%. They are walking distance to down town San Jose were the locals are nice and informative. On the other hand, the service needs work. The buffet servers were not attentive, especially in the morning on the outside portion of the restaurant. We had to flag them down. At times the male server would literary walk by avoiding eye contact. That is until the manger showed up… We also booked premium and had to inquire about our complimentary champagne and tequila twice. Other then that it was relaxing. I'd visit again.

The staff was attentive the whole stay. Food was prepared excellent and quality control supervisors were on-site inspecting all food prep and buffet areas routinely. Drink servers were constantly serving the guests needs, and activity coordinators were making sure anyone who wanted to participate in games were included and had a good time.
During the stay a hurricane was on its way and the staff knew how to secure the whole premises while still be attentive to guests wants and needs, and always with a smile. Luckily the hurricane was downgraded to a heavy tropical storm, but it still flooded the bottom level rooms, but everyone was safe due to the staffs efforts. All staff members even stayed the night at the resort to be ready for what ever happened the next day.
I would recommend this resort to anyone interested in an all-inclusive getaway.

Amazing. The cutest thing here. I really enjoyed the deal and overall the facilities, the rooms are well laid out, and your bracelet is your key so don't go to lose it.
The variety of meals and restaurants makes it very versatile, the pools are clean and in the hours of bar you can ask from there, the Skybar is the one that closes later and you will place it like the tallest tower, that yes close to the closing time no longer will give you drinks.
The sunsets, are amazing and a view to the moon you can enjoy, the sea is not for swimming, as it is open, you can only enjoy the view.

The hotel and the pools require more maintenance and better treatment to the national tourism, I had good experience with most of the people working there, it is quiet, but not advisable to swim on your beach because the waves are very strong in that area. It's a place to rest more than anything else.

Excellent hotel The staff very friendly the facilities super amazing a very relaxed atmosphere the show they offer in the evening as entertainment is very good, from the lobby you see an excellent view I recommend the Italian food restaurant serve good pasta, I recommend this hotel and definitely return.

The hotel is somewhat small compared to its neighbors, the food service is somewhat limited but there is variety. There's not much difference between all-inclusive and premium wristbands, it just gives you some access to more drinks so, I think it's not worth paying more, however the idea that your room key is on your bracelet is amazing. The pools are open until 10pm, which is also perfect.

I went with my husband to a Congress and I stayed in a different hotel. Then my husband was given a bracelet because there is the Congress and if lodging. The point here is that without a bracelet will not let you enter your facilities, being that in my hotel there was no problem of access to it, being or not a guest of the hotel. Besides the policeman is a little heavy to return to the lobit.

Last day here sadly… we had an amazing vacation! The resort is beautiful, food delicious (great options), service was fantastic and the entertainment staff outstanding (thank you Angel, Manuel and Cindy). We loved our excursions, the nigthly entertainment, and relaxing by the pool. I highly recommend this resort!

Good room layout. The food is good more not excellent. Perhaps there is a bit of variety, however, the service, me as traveler, is one of the best I have received in the world. Keep it up. The food I understand for the size of the hotel as although Barceló is not as big as others of the franchise. The service makes your stay memorable. A round of applause. Keep it up.

Not an expansive resort so pool and restaurants were always a close walk to our room which is great if you have little kids or just need to go get something. I appreciated the fact that the main pool was probably 4 ft everywhere so I could easily take my kid swimming and not worry about treading into the deep end without realizing. I also liked the kiddie pool was next to the main pool. Food was great, no one got sick. Liked the Mexican a la carte a lot. Watched people get the Mexican coffee there and it is cool watching the liquor burn as it is poured down a tower of glasses. Can't swim in the ocean as waves are too strong but I think that is true for all the hotels along this strip.

We just returned home from a wonderful and relaxing trip to your beautiful resort! We loved the size of the resort as everything was close and easy to get to. The pool was the perfect temperature… very clean and refreshing… yet it was also nice to enjoy the large hot tub to warm up when necessary. It was great that the activity and infinity pools were close but separate from the main pool. The service at this resort, whether it be in the restaurants, at the pools or bars was SUPERB! The food and drinks were excellent! We were always served promptly, efficiently and always with a smile! We really enjoyed the specialty restaurants for a change from the buffet and especially the Mexican one as the Mexican Coffee is a MUST to experience! Our daughter is celiac and we were so impressed with how well they treated her… always attending to her specific food needs and making special meals for her! A very special thanks to the sous chef, Freddie for making it your personal mission to make sure she was taken care of! The activity staff was also very friendly and attentive! The entertainment was very enjoyable and the performers really worked hard to put on a wonderful show! It was a great way to spend the evening before early bed! The panoramic view from the Lighthouse bar was beautiful but we thought it was such a shame that they don't do more with that bar.

Excellent hotel, super recommend it especially for the deal Q gave my son, he has allergy to the protein of cow's milk normally in other hotels, restaurants ignore and offer you what Q have and already. In this case it was the opposite I was introduced to the chefs of each restaurant and prepared special food for my son, the captain of waiters Mr Juan Hernandez of the restaurant on the beach and his superior the manager of restaurants were every day pending The feeding of my son, 4 years ago I visited for the first time, this Easter we returned and will surely return!

It is a good place to play Pokémon go as it has gym and a pokeparada has great facilities the only bad thing is its security staff who are very despots and they put bad face to the people who are not staying from out there it is a good place.

It was a beautiful place to visit. The whole experience was very relaxing and we felt well taken care of. The scenary was beautiful with the ocean just beyond the hotel's border. We had great food with the many choices of where to eat. From the buffets to the snack bar to the different restaurants located in the hotel. I can't forget the staff. They were all very attentive and friendly. Very good service. All in all, a very memorable week. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone and would like to return in the future.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the food is amazing. However the customer service and accommodations lack. We reserved and paid for king bed suit yet once we arrived to the hotel they were sold out. Therefore 2 double beds was all they had available. We purchased tour packages at the airport prior to arriving to the resort. The resort also sold the same packages. They would not transport us to those tours. We were involved in the resort and another agencies dispute instead of accommodating for their guest they ostracized us for purchasing a better deal.

Beautiful resort, gorgeous landscaping, open, airy and wonderful layout. Everything is close, yet open and lots of places to lounge and walk around. Right on gorgeous beach, somewhat secluded. Very comfortable, great staff, and the food was spectacular. Must have the Japanese dinner at sushi restaurant. The breakfast restaurant overlooked beach. The bars were well staffed and friendly. Excellent place, had a great vacation there!

This place is extremely beautiful. Most of the wait staff are really friendly and helpful. The pools are always clean and well cared for. The buffet is great for breakfast and dinner, I wouldn't even waste your time at the Italian and Mexican restraunt. Was not impressed at all. The food bar (snacks) was better, the buffet is the way to go. I only have two complaints, maid service is inconsistent, after 2 days you will not get your counters wiped, floors clean and sometimes they won't even give you towels. You will have to call down for them. It's ridiculous. The maid could be there as early as 11, to as late as 4. I didn't like that. The entertainment is lack, gets boring after 6, nothing to really do. They usually have something going on at 9 but only for 30-40 minutes. It sucks! Most people go out to find something to do, just because the entertainment lacks so much. Hopes that help.

The staff here are very friendly and attentive. Buffets seem to be better than a La carte. All inclusive is not my preferred method of travel by a long shot, but this place was nice. Pools were clean, staff come onto beach to take drink orders. Could use a few more umbrellas and chairs.

It is a very good place to vacation… all included… all the staff very friendly… on the part of PREMIER's all very pleasant … Only the play area a bit neglected and forgotten.

Food is mediocre. Drinks are overly sweet. Views are great. Beach is not for swimming, as the waves and undertow are dangerous and unpredictable.

Hotel was of good quality, service staff were generally excellent and very friendly. All inclusive food was great mixed drinks seemed to vary in strength but I mostly went with beer, which was consistent and refreshing. We had an issue with the hot water in our shower for half of the stay but eventually it was fixed. Overall good experience and would go back.

Very nice hotel. There's practically no noise. Everything is very quiet and relaxed.

We had a nice relaxing time there. It was the ending part of our trip, so we were more mellow, however there seemed to be a good amount of people there and people having fun, lots of pool games to play and the ocean is very close walk to (although in that area you cannot really swim there with the strong undertow). The resort/rooms are kind of older, the poolside rooms are not as nice as the ocean view rooms, if you want a bath tub then you want an ocean view room, which is way more expensive. No Free Wi-Fi, you have to pay. Lot of upgrades needed to be happy on your stay.

It is a shame the carelessness in which this hotel is the facade is silent to the attraction that was the lighthouse they put a frightening cell repeater station the convention center behind the scenes is disgusting. Employees complain that the company robs them of gratuities etc, etc.

Horrible attention, looks like a hotel for old has no activities, the bathrooms are sloppy and nor do they let you eat after check out, I will not return to any Barcelo.

Just spent a week here and had a fabulous time! Food was excellent, staff are friendly and helpful, it's clean and tidy and very well maintained. The pools are nice, especially the jacuzzi pool! The beach is nice and clean and there are hardly any beach vendors, unlike in San Lucas where they are hip deep! It's an easy walk to San Jose and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants just across the street. We would definitely recommend it and will probably be back next year!

Just got back on Nov 19th from this Hotel. The grounds are very well kept the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Some comments about the rooms not clean or something not fixed was not our experience. The light switch did not work in the bathroom, called down and an electrician was there in less then 15 minutes to repair it. Towels were missing from the bathroom called down they sent up 4 within 20 min and a follow up call was made from the front desk to confirm that we received them. These minor inconveniences may have been fixed before we got the room under normal circumstances. The Barcelo stepped in and accommodated lots of guests from the Krystal Grand that had an unfortunate sewer break that flooded parts of the resort and main pool and beach area. This is an excellent resort would stay here again in a heart beat. You can swim in the ocean if your a good swimmer lots of fun in the surf can be had.

Unprofessional place. Choose any other resort. No shuttle to airport, food is hit or miss. Rooms are ok pools are great but the service kills anything that can remotely make this place pleasurable. Asked the staff many times to help us with transportation to the airport and only get the run around. Told us to take a taxi. How could you not have a safe service to get to and from the airport. Ridiculous. Also paid for a tour of the arch over paid with the lobby. Go elsewhere save yourself the headache.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Chairs not comfortable. No sit up chairs anywhere around pool or beach. Only lounges. The food at buffet is fair, Italian restaurant very good. Rooms not as clean as they should be. Terrible pillows. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing beach to walk down. Easy to get into town to shop. We felt very safe here. Enjoyed our holiday.

It has lowered the quality of the food and the check out is at 11am and almost put it at 9am is an excess since check in at 3pm.

Last October, and as a climax to my honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at that hotel.
The stay is developed between the days 11 and 15 of October, a total of 4 nights. We chose the hotel in large part for the confidence it offered us that it belonged to a prestigious chain, such as Barceló.
One morning, between 12 and 14.30, we were in the pool when someone came into our room and stole all of the valuables we left in sight, namely my husband's watch mobile phone and 150 euros in cash from my husband's wallet, which he had inside the pocket of his trousers.
The staff took care of us, but they didn't solve anything. They seemed to lengthen all the procedures for us to go to Spain and forget the subject.
We leave our data but so far we have received no information or any kind of compensation.
In short, even though the restaurants, facilities, time and staff care except for that was very good, we llevams a lousy picture of the hotel.
We had a feeling of tremendous distrust as well as a huge rage, for having been bitter our honeymoon.
If you stay in the hotel, do not leave anything of value in sight when you leave the room and be very careful.

Excellent resort with amazing staff. Their staffs was courteous and helpful. They are very welcoming. Elegant rooms with private balconies and water views.

The food quality needs to be improved. A lot of the food sits out under heaters and is hard or dry. The staff is very nice though.

Lousy service. A very unpleasant experience last Saturday (16/09/17), approx at 3:40 am (local time), he proceeded to ask for a taxi to take me to the airport to catch my plane back to the CD. Mx. (06:05 am), the person in charge in the lobby (I didn't notice your name), I was denied the service, claiming that I owed them an additional night and had to cover the amount of 3999 pesos, being that I did my check-out from the previous day (15/09/17) approx at 11:40 am, and I've only gone early that morning to pick up my suitcase.

Amazing service and great facility. The only drawback for me is that the beach in that area is not swimmable due to the currents (at least not in the season I was there).

We had a fantastic 1 week stay with a large group. We are from Western Australia and we could not have been happier with our stay. Facilities, food and staff were fantastic. We met a lot of great people. It was a great holiday and I would highly recommend to anyone.

We arrived 4 days after tropical storm Lidia made its way through San Jose and Cabos San Lucas. We had an ocean view room on the 5th level. There was not a working elevator or Wi-Fi in the building we were in. We tried to be understanding since they had some damage from the storm, but it would have been nice to have been told the elevators were not working. The room and bathroom were not as clean as you would like to see a 4 star resort. There was a lot of black hair on the bathroom counter, and I'm a blonde. The room needed a good scrub down starting with the front door into the room. The room was never restocked with all towels and mini bar refreshments after a housekeeping. We had to make several visits to the front desk since the room phone didn't work. This was our first all inclusive so we did expect much from the food. It was so much worse than what we expected. The specialty restaurants were laughable! The first night there was no air conditioning in the restaurant. It was only a heat index of 100. The shrimp entree had 4 small cocktail shrimp. The Italian restaurant entree of a sea bass was served, but it was some kind of meat. They admitted the cook was confused and prepared the sea bass. We're really not sure what kind of fish this was but definitely not a Chilean sea bass! The service in the Italian restaurant was just terrible. I guess this is what you get with an all inclusive! I'll end this on a happy note. We did have a nice time for 3 days!

We visited Gran Faro Barceló in Cabo and spent 5 amazing days at the resort. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th Anniversary with friends and family and can say we had a great experience at this resort. The rooms were clean and pretty modern, the food was pretty good, and the staff was amazing especially Francisco (Pancho), Jorge, Rigoberto & Victor, we were treated like royalty. We will definitely be back again! I am glad we did not listen to all the news about how its not safe to go to Mexico, as we even went downtown to San Jose, shopped and sat down for a nice cold drink on a bus. Thank you for making this trip the best one yet.

Cons — — My experience wasn't very good we had a leak in our restroom, we experienced roaches in our room, they wouldn't change our sheets, and the night entertainment sucked … beach is for surfing, which my son couldn't really Enjoy. It's very far away from the city of San Lucas where all the entertainment is at. Pools are very hot not refreshing or enjoyable. Ice machine wasn't working. Chairs by pools are always taken. Need to leave towels out on chairs really early. Pros — — The food is really Good. Recommend to reserve at restaurants and the food at snack bar is dilicious. They restock your room fridge Everyday. Rooms are nice and cool. They let you swim late. Sky bar has a awesome view. Staff is friendly!

Rooms for this hotel are good as well as the pool and the ocean view. To be very honest, I didn't like the "All Inclusive" version for this hotel: the restaurant options were very limited (on the day I went there was only One reservation restaurant option available — we arrived on time, it was full, we had to wait and there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant. It didn't even have desserts available).

The very nice hotel in San Jose del Cabo. Spacious rooms, newly remodeled. A bit far from the airport. The good general care by the staff of the hotel.

Wonderful view of the sea, stunning rooms, clean, the only bad thing are their employees who give more preference to the foreign tourists to the own Mexicans.

This place is awesome! The transportation from the airport to the hotel was smooth. There was a little hiccup with the rooms but it was resolved quickly. The hotel is right next to a beach and has spectacular views. The snack isn't that great (we nay have gotten sick from th flood) and the drinks are good. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The spa is awesome and well worth the money.

Good food, service so far between regular and good. Paid full sea view and we gave partial. Beautiful facilities aunque. Pequeno and limited. For the general good.

Beware! The "Oceanfront" rooms are farther away from the beach than the base oceanview rooms? Don't waste your money upgrading like we did. The internet is unreliable and only 2 devices are allowed per room. The front desk staff is incompetent, it took up over 1 1/2 hours to get a better room "Beachfront" for another $550. Us. Food was good except for the Sushi Bar, avoid. We cannot recommend this hotel and will not go back. Why didn't Skyland Escapes advise us that the oceanfront rooms are the farthest away from the ocean? This was a very expensive vacation in the end…

Very nice resort in a quieter area San Juan (compared to San Lucas). Last hotel bar closes at midnight. Generally good food for an all inclusive — but don't expect lobster or a good steak. Don't miss the sushi bar or the Mexican restaurant. Very nice pools, excellent beach (literally miles). Friendly staff, Wi-Fi is limited to two devices per room — worked for Android but not iPhones. Room service was great but plan for it to take an extra 30minutes and you will get some things you didn't order. We did the whale watching tour in San Lucas but should have done the sunset dinner which apparently includes whale watching, snorkeling along with dinner… Our pre-arranged airport transportation "Cabo Expert" was un-reliable. Make sure you call to verify your return to airport. Art walk in San Juan el centro had some nice art places and a brew pub.

Starting with the all inclusive service is the worst trash I have seen in my life, the food is terrible, I pass with diarrhea and upset stomach throughout my stay 5 days from what little I could eat also never have food in the disgusting law firms that assembled there, we were 3 hours until the services offered and all bufeteros to finish empty, empleaduchos that have in these areas are of the more rude that exist because if you ask them food they tell you that already finish, and high area of "snacks" is no hamburgers, no beer and no water 3 hours before the end of this area and when claim you to the tipin that there I stayed had you delicacy to discuss with me you are a disgusting hotel and charge as if they were the best, not is it recommend to anyone by anything in the world!

The kind people you like to go visit, they make you feel at home. They are professional as you will find. Muy bien! El WAPO!

Let me start off by saying I do not usually leave reviews at all, but this place deserves a good one, so I'll give it. At first I DID NOT want to go to Mexico! I had never been there and I have heard one to many horror stories about bad hotels and unfriendly staff. We stayed at the Barcelo December 6th threw the 11th and I LOVED it! It was clean, nice, had beautiful scenery, and the most friendly staff I have ever seen (particularly a man named Hector that was always working down around the pool area always making sure that we were ok and having the best time we could have in San Jose). The free Coronas always stocked in our room refrigerator everyday was a great touch, as well as Pepsi,. The all inclusive drinks (which they do not go light on, and used good boose) were great, and the food was fantastic, and also all inclusive! The staff work there butts off there, I will DEFINITELY be back in 2016. Thank you for the great experience Barcelo.

The hotel was just great, Very clean and well looked after. We travel a lot and know what to expect. The staff in all areas were number one, Gaby at the front desk was super. Minor problems were taken care of in very short order. The food was very good and had a good variety. We can definitely recommend it. Well done. Not to big and not to small. The beach is fantastic but the reason you can not swim is the surf is very active.

Lousy hotel. The people in reception treat you very badly since the arrival. The bad food and the sky bar smells pesimo.

Very bad organization, nor can it be bathing the beach of the hotel is prohibited, and the drinks are of garrafon perfect to go bad, I won't come back in my life. I do not advise.

This is the best experience I had in the hotels ever. The entire staff of the hotel was the most welcoming, kind and helpful to us all the time. All service was at the highest level. The food was delicious, rooms were cleaned to perfection, supplies of all kinds of food were in abundance, all drinks included, infinity pool with salty water was adding to the experience. There was no need to go anywhere out of the resort at all. In the evening performances were fantastic and fun. The kids club and Adriana the teacher there were such a fun for my baby. We are ready to go back there again. The most family friendly place I have ever experienced and the friendlies stuff I have ever met.

Very good hotel, very good view from the lighthouse, the internet costs $165 MXN approx. Per day.
