Great food and fabulous atmosphere.

Our son got married there last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful! The service was great. The Rooftop dancing and music was like no other. We will be back!

An amazing place, their view to the arch of the best, the gastronomy excellent but the customer service was super of the best, they have an excellent service.

I can honestly say this was a five star experience. The food was a little bit pricey that was my only complaint. The staff was so friendly and so professional courteous and respectful. I room beautiful views. Thank you for making this one of the best holidays we've ever had.

Just celebrated our 10 year anniversary at this glorious place. We travel often and can say that this is the best! Every detail was thought of. The architecture and design is modern but warm and timeless. The food, drinks and service were outstanding. This place operates like a well oiled machine where the guests get to just enjoy every minute of their stay. LOVED it!

My husband and I were married here on 3/20/22. Our experience with the staff began almost 1 year earlier when we were shopping venues. I can confidently say that the same service we were wooed with then, was the same service we received up until our wedding, and even beyond. Marcella and Estrella worked very hard on-site to ensure our entire weekend of celebration came to life. They worked flawlessly alongside our wedding planner to help us secure locations and amenities for not only our big day, but our rehearsal dinner and even a poolside gathering. Our housekeeping staff (sorry, I can only remember Lupita but there was another gal) was PHENOMENAL. We rented the Surfer Villa and their daily cleaning always made it look spotless and feel luxurious. Jaime at the pool is always a pleasure to work with. We’ve seen him the previous 2 visits and he was still there when we returned for our wedding. He knows my husband and I so well that he knows our chairs, our breakfast orders and our favorite cocktails. Eduardo is not someone we interacted with much in person, but the personalized notes in not only our room, but our guests as well, really elevated the experience. We brought our dog, Tobias, and he not only was welcomed with open arms, but he became the star of the resort. They allowed him to hang by the main pool with us, brought him water, moved umbrellas to keep him out of the sun. He was living it up probably more than we were!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch overlooking the ocean at the Point Break. The sushi and seafood were super fresh and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We would definitely come back!

This hotel is AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and helpful. This was an anniversary surprise for my husband and he loved it. We had one of the ocean view suites and it was great! The service was excellent! From keeping our room clean to making sure everything was sanitized! The food at the Ledge, Rooftop, and Manta was so good! We really enjoyed our stay!

Party! This resort is first class and anything you ask for they do their best to take care of you with a smile. The wedding was a dream come true at this magical place. The newlyweds could have gone anywhere for their honeymoon and decided to stay at the Cape. They moved them into a Panoramic suite and have been spoiling them with sweet extras the entire time. Amanda and Ryan even added two more nights to their trip they are having so much fun! Our wedding guests are already talking about making this an annual trip. What a beautiful hotel. Besides the incredible friendly staff, awesome location, amazing food, the service is top notch. We had spa services that were wonderful. Bespoke memories created all through the stay. We felt safe regarding security’s round but not intrusive at all, Covid safe, everything was clean. Attention to detail throughout the stay. 10 out 10.

Very beautiful from the time we drove on the property. Very nice people and five star service. I would love to have The Cape, in Louisiana. Food is superb. Steak, Fish and Hamburger / Fries. Try the steak nacho for an appetizer.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in, its design, its rooms and not to mention the delicious food, all relentless and excellent service of all. The best part the Rooftop with a beautiful view, music and delicious drinks! I recommend you try the famous "the cape toast" simply exquisite.

There has not been a single thing or area or amenity or staff member that has disappointed. Watched a wedding from my balcony. Remarkable views. Sunset. The private beach. Truly an experience and I’ve not left the property.

Ivan and the bar staff made our night. We booked a NYE dinner and didn’t realize it was a buffet. We have a 4 year old and it would not work. They went above and beyond to serve us an easy dinner so we could go home at a reasonable hour. Maricarmen was amazing!

Love The Cape. Must see and a wonderful place to stay while in Cabo. Great staff, service is like no other, food is great, views are amazing, and roof top bar is a must do!

Amazing views spacious rooms great staff. A bit out of town but a bus or taxi will take you into town easily. Pool is infinity and just beautiful. Staff are great and very accommodating. Recommend this hotel it's just perfect.

It’s our first time in Cabo and The Cape was amazing! We stayed in the panoramic suite and the view was incredible. The service was good and everyone was so nice. If you go to the pool ask for Juan… he’s the best! So personable and attentive. We are definitely coming back! :)

We loved The Cape! It is a beautiful property situated in the perfect spot. The rooms are beautiful, new and clean. From airport transportation to the hotel all the way to checkout, the staff is wonderful. Attentive to all your needs and always ready to serve. Food at the hotel restaurants was so good in every way. The vibe of the hotel is sophisticated and romantic. Atmosphere is fun and relaxing. We spent much of our time at the pool and highly recommend allowing Alex, Hugo, Juan and Gustavo to be your attendants all day long! Very good at their jobs — even remembering your names and your favorite chairs to sit in. Gustavo had our chairs ready for us on the last day of our stay even before we got down there! Francisco at the Ledge Restaurant is excellent as well — knowledgeable, friendly and kind — and a very good waiter too!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and we absolutely loved every single moment. It is a beautiful resort and the view from anywhere is spectacular — it's like a little piece of paradise. Our luxurious room was very spacious, as was the balcony and we made good use of the swinging day bed. We spent a lot of time out there watching the surfers ride in on the waves. … I'm a firm believer they have room fairies! It's true — they quietly come in while you're out and make everything perfect and leave treats and gifts! They even leave a note telling you what the weather will be the next day! My favorite part of our room was taking a shower! It's open with a rain shower head and the only thing you see is the ocean. The staff was over the top friendly and never missed a beat — they treated us like royalty, especially at the pool. Every bite of food was delicious — when you stay here, you must have the French toast! Trust me, you'll never have any better than this. We can't wait for our return visit!

Had a lovely time at The Cape Cabo. Every part of the experience was wonderful. We wanted a relaxing vacation where we could enjoy the views and that’s exactly what we got. Our room exceeded our expections. Truly the most spacious room and ensuite we have ever had and it was not missing any amenities. The large balcony provided us a breathtaking view of the ocean. We were able to relax by the pool, by the ocean and on our balcony. We enjoyed every meal we had whether it was room service, lunch by the pool or a meal at The Ledge. The friendly staff were the best part! Moses, Christian, Hugo, and Francisco were so attentive to make sure we were well taken care of.

The staff were all incredibly welcoming but no one was overbearing. We had room service multiple times, poolside service and ate at three restaurants on the property and at each place the service was very prompt and friendly. The view is fantastic, you can see all of Cabo San Lucas and all the rooms have great ocean views. The hotel itself is a nice distance from the center of Cabo, but a pretty short cab ride if that's your scene. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches you expect in a 5 star hotel, including things like a free bottle of tequila when we arrived. The door to the patio had impressive noise dampening capabilities, when it was shut the room was totally quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the two heads in the shower were great. Overall the experience was lovely and I'd happily come back here again.

The best view of Cabo! Amazing staff and the hotel is immaculately clean. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because they do not provide in all rooms basic amenities for the price of a five-star hotel, not all rooms have a coffee machine and if requested you are given a Nespresso machine but you get charge for each pod which I think at the price of a five-star hotel they should include it in the room.

Very luxurious. Reception is outside, with an amazing breeze. Rooms have excellent ocean views, and the sound of the surf from the balcony made me want to sleep on the hammock swing. Multiple pools and restaurants.

This is one amazing hotel! My wife and I spent six nights at The Cape celebrating our honeymoon and we had a truly fantastic time. The design, vibe and overall good looks of this property were right up our alley and unique for Cabo. The spa was incredible and we both agreed it was the best massage we’ve ever had. The staff was lovely and very friendly. From the moment you land at the airport to when you leave a member of the hotel was always there to assist (even at the airport! ). Special thanks to Nelson with the pool staff who was awesome! The restaurants, bars and concierge help was top of the line and exceeded expectations. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and have already been recommending to friends and family. Thank you Cape!

This hotel was amazing from the service to the food to the views! The roons are large with beautiful views of the sunsets balconies are so roomy with sitting area after a long day at the pool or beach. Rooftop bar was great as was dinner at Manta. Great fun hip vibe love the lobby open space. Would love more coffee and quick breakfast options that’s about it. Food and drinks at the pool were in abundance. We will definitely be back the Cape is the place to be!

I have extremely mixed feelings about this place, and would give it 3.5 stars. This hotel and its grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are filled with thoughtful details, and the hotel has exceptionally pleasant staff — possibly the most pleasant staff of any hotel I've been to in this price range. All the amenities of a five-star hotel (and you obviously pay for it with an exceptionally steep price tag compared to what you might pay for a party-party hotel in other parts of Cabo). Because of all that, I was expecting it to be a much quieter and more peaceful retreat than it was. There weren't a ton of parties in the hotel (it was off-season) but the hotel played house music by the pool (which is under the balconies for all the rooms) all day, every day, and this kind of ruined the atmosphere. But if that's what you're looking for, or if you go in with those expectations, this'd be a lovely place to stay. Also: Note that this is NOT a part of Cabo where you should swim in the ocean.

Hands down the best experience. Grounds and rooms were spectacular, I particularly loved the day beds in the balcony! Loved every minute of our stay here. Service was also amazing.

Breathtaking property. The rooftop bar has the best view in Cabo. The cocktails were very creative and the food was equally unique. The grilled octopus and potatoes were fantastic! Service was very attentive.

This Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The concierge (Alfredo, Carlos and Israel) were all amazing making coming and going something we looked forward to! Nothing was too much trouble and their charming personalities made this Hotel stand out more than any other we've stayed at! The sweet server for breakfast, Jose Torres went out of his way to make breakfast time a fun time! He was kind, offering suggestions and helping us make the most of our trip! The Breakfast manager booked golf through his friend for my husband at a private club which was a major highlight of the trip! The front desk staff Edson, Diego, Hansel and Enrique were so helpful and kind, again standing out from anything we've ever experienced. The cleaning staff was amazing, as well as the pool staff. The location is spectacular but the amazing service and staff are the real beauties in this Hotel! 10 out of 10 in our books. We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!

Absolutely stunning hotel — sheik and contemporary. Superb service and accommodating staff. The specialty is day lounging by the infinity pool with upscale cocktails and ceviche while lounge music plays. Special kudos to Israel on the pool staff who took care of us all week!

Excellent all around service at the resort from the moment of arrival until our last day. All workers were attentive and cater to your needs. My only complaint was the food which I received the restaurants separately. The rooftop bar is an excellent way to relax and the live music was excellent. The place is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. If I were back in Cabo then I would definitely return here. Clean rooms and views from the balconies.

Went for drinks and snacks up on the roof… fantastic! The views are simply the best in Cabo for sunset. Service was impeccable, drinks were fun and inventive. The appetizers were delicious and unique. Cost was high for Cabo, but not for the quality and the experience.

I have frequented the Thompson Hotel every time we come to Cabo. The service is exceptional and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I especially enjoy The Ledge restaurant for breakfast and dinner. My husband and I had dinner there 2 nights ago and had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and they have many vegan options. My husband and son are both vegan. The chef was able to make a vegan chocolate mousse for desert and it was fantastic. The view is breathtaking especially for sunsets. This is a cn't miss experience! Thanks to everyone there for this awesome memory.

Everything is great. But be careful to ask for prices of things. They tend to "offer you" "the best" (insert item) and the bill comes back later only to lick you in the banks. But other than that, the water is nice the service is excellent, and everyone is so courteous.

A short two-hour flight from Houston and you're transported to pure bliss. As you approach the hotel, the open-air lobby invites you into the sights and smells of the ocean. The staff greeted us upon arrival with fresh juice as we took in the view of the cape. The room was modern, spacious and had a private balcony looking onto the ocean. We spent the majority of our days at the pool. A gorgeous infinity pool with a convenient swim-up bar. When not in the pool, we indulged ourselves with fresh guacamole, chips and delicious octopus tacos! Definitely going to be a yearly retreat for years to come!

The Rooftop, The Ledge and the Lobby Bar are absolutely wonderful! The food is excellent, the drink selection is top notch, the views and the hotel itself are gorgeous. However, the staff members are really the best part of The Cape — thank you to you all. We had such a fun time and I cannot wait to come back!

Loved every moment here! Drinks are strong, staff is cool, and the space is unbelievable. We happened to survive a hurricane during our stay, and the staff were nothing but wonderful about making accommodations. Will definitely come back.

The hotel was absolutely amazing. The design of this hotel, with views peeking through the open concept was breathtaking. I actually laughed out loud with joy walking into the lobby, and passing the staff who treated me like a beloved guest. The poop and views are as described and lovely for lounging. I only wish there was another hottub. The room was amazing. I enjoyed everything about the bathtub and shower tremendously. The swinging daybed with ocean views couldn't miss. The outhouse like toilet is strange but hardly an issue. The only thing at this hotel that even slightly missed was the food. While most things were satisfying, the menus were strange and concepts were scattered. I wish there were more options for seafood, especially crab. I also wish there was a purely Mexican food concept in one place. Eating at multiple places and seeing the same things on the menu disappointed. Especially for someone hoping to not leave the resort. All in all this was a dream getaway. I highly recommend The Cape if you want a full luxury experience.

I love everything about The Cape! The view is amazing, rooms and decor very modern. The food was beyond our expectations and the service was even better! I would definitely stay at The Cape again and recommend it to any friends or family planning a vacation to Cabo San Lucas!

The rooms are incredible, love the bathroom (copper bath and large walk in shower). A view of the arch and the constant sound of the crashing waves is the best. The food here is very good but a bit expensive. At night there are large fire pits which is nice.
