We stayed with Leeanne and Herman for 4 days prior to a dive trip. I can’t say enough about the stay. The casa is gorgeous and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pool clean and refreshing and the rooftop overlooking the beach very peaceful. The food and atmosphere authentic and filling. Definitely coming back

We LOVED staying here! The owners are gracious hosts. The location is excellent, and the breakfast is better than any restaurant!

Spent a week here, had a great time. Leeanne was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and helped arrange our transportation, diving, and a massage. Rooms are clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. They also have an outdoor kitchen so guests can make their own meals. Their dog Ayla was super sweet and friendly, loved having a dog there to love on. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Google maps got us easily to the front door of Casa Kootenay. Leeanne gave us a complete tour of the grounds, right off. The courtyard entrance is beautiful, with a tiled Hot-tub and Pool, several seating areas and plenty of space to lounge, either in the sun, or in the shade of umbrella, or foliage. The lobby feels open air, with lots of tile, glass, and a beautiful view of the beach and waterfront. She has plenty of tour information and she will also set you up with local tour operators, if you ask. She arranged for us to swim with the whale sharks, which was an unforgettable experience. She led us past the outdoor kitchen area, which is available to guests, and has a refrigerator of beverages at a small cost. Our room was second floor, and had plenty of space, nice bath, small refrigerator and safe, with a view of the courtyard. But the real view is on the beach front terrace. She has a large terrace, with lots of seating, games, shade if you want, and a panoramic view of the beach and bay. The best part comes at Sunset, when we would sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the show. Very beautiful and relaxing. Breakfasts were amazing, and varied. Each morning we had fresh fruit, smoothies, coffee/tea, and a home made traditional mexican eggs/tortila/etc dish. Tasty and plentiful. Whenwe weren't out exploring, we took advantage of her complimentary Kayak, and wind surfer, to enjoy the bay, right off of her beachfront.

Casa Kootenay was a wonderful place to stay for my wife and I. The bed and breakfast was amazing and beautiful and clean. I especially liked the upper lounge area above the main building, great place to read, sleep, medicate and just relax. Leeanne is an amazing host. She is supper friendly, accommodating and funny! She knew all the best spots to eat, beaches to hang out at and places to see around town. Our rental car got a flat tire and Leeanne helped recommend were to get it fixed and how to get there. Can't say enough good things about our time at Casa Kootenay!

What a perfect place! I was happy to see that it was more of a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. We loved the location, the room, which was quite large and very clean, all of the free time equipment like ping pong table, swimming pool, standing surf board, canoes, etc, offered to us for free. But most of all our hostess, will keep us coming back over and over!

Honestly the best and most fun place you could stay at in La Paz. Beautiful rooms, gorgeous ocean view (its literally the backyard, so all fun ocean activities are right at your feet) amazing pool, outdoor kitchen, and the most wonderful, kind, and fun hostess you could ever wish for. If I could, I would stay here everyday!

We just spent 10 days at this beautiful place. We cannot wait to plan the next time we are going back there. Leeanne is an amazing host and makes great breakfasts. She will guide you on the best places to go in the area and tell you the best places to eat at. Her home has a beautiful view from the roof top patio of the ocean and sunsets and is super relaxing to read on the cabana. When the days are hot she has a pool to lounge in and when the nights cool off a hot tub to warm up in. Her garden area is the best spot to relax and hangout with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Casa Kooteney is close to the Malecon and close to 2 beautiful serine local beaches. If you haven't been here yet, you should plan to. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed here for 2 nights at the recommendation of our tour guide from Eco Migrations which I have included in another review. It is right on the beach and is a very welcoming property. Leeanne is the owner and your hostess and is incredibly friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the hot breakfast in the morning was delicious. It certainly rivals many restaurant meals. Her parents were visiting while we were there and they were just delightful. Highly recommend this property.

Very nice place. I recommend it highly. With a anfiriona of luxury, always attentive and helpful. Has pool and water activities in front of the sea. Also in a safe area and close to the city, but away from the hustle and bustle. 100% recommended!

Rico bed and breakfast jubto to the beach, a little cozy, with pool and jacuzzi, full of water activities and very close to the center of the city. Excellent care.

Located close to the beach and serpentarium, close to the malecon, with fitted kitchen and rooms with weather and their own bathrooms. Quiet.

The experience was from a boutique hotel in a bed and breakfast. A wonderful small town, close to the city and on the shore of the beach. The landlady took great care of me I've made our first time in peace a marvel. The pool and Jacuzzi perfectly complement the tranquility of the place. All very clean, and super comfy beds!
My wife had a great time on the terrace and my son in the pool.
We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed at Casa Kootenay for 3 wonderful nights in February. Despite arriving a day earlier than planned, Leeanne was able to accommodate us last minute. She has a beautiful B&B right on the beach, makes a delicious breakfast. And being able to use her kayaks and paddleboards made our visit extra special. We will definitely be staying with her again the next time we are in La Paz!

We were looking for a little get-away after planning our daughters wedding. A little time out for ourselves. We found something even better. We found Casa Kootenay. We felt spoiled and pampered. The hostess went out of her way to make everything special and make us feel welcome. Her breakfasts were delicious. The grounds were beautiful. We spent some time paddle boarding and swimming in the ocean. We had a glass of wine on her rooftop patio and watched some dolphins swim by. What could be more perfect? It was like a second honeymoon for us. I would recommend Casa Kootenay to anyone.
