Great place off the grid! Little Italy far away from Italy. Feel like home atmosphere, friendly owners, great staff. Overall great experience. Too bad we only stayed there for one night. Definitely gonna repeat!

Eddie and Cindy are amazing hosts. We stayed in the Bali room for our first few nights with a little bit of luxury and the most amazing view to wake to one of the mountains and one of the ocean. We then moved down to the cottage… words can’t even describe how amazing it is was. We will be back… it really is a hidden gem.

Wow! This place is magical! We rented the penthouse for a week and had ocean views all around. You are surrounded by nature: The sound of ocean, the cacti and palm trees, and the billions of stars at night… I watched the moon glistening on the water every night! This place is a gem that reminds you of the old Cabo before all the resorts and developments. The rooms are spacious and tastefully done and the is pool pristine. I can't wait to return!

We stayed at Villa del Faro for a week and we are already talking about when we can make it out again. The Bali Room is gorgeous and perfect for those who like a little more exposure to the beautiful weather and scenic views. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and the Villa Family are very welcoming. A special thank you to Eddie for picking us up and dropping us off at the airport! Our experience was just what we needed it to be: rejuvenating and relaxing.

I've literally never spent time in such a stunning location with such amazing hosts. I can't recommend this place enough. We are already planning our return.

We visited Villa del Faro in April 2018 to check out the property for possible future vacation plans. The staff was extremely helpful. We got a personal tour of the entire estate. The private villas start at about $165 USD / night and go up into the $300 range. Beautiful pool grounds gardens. Secluded quiet and breathtaking views.

What an incredible place to stay. The owners really set up a little piece of paradise — many different open-air areas, each flowing into the other. The views, design, and landscaping are just breath taking. We found it an ideal, secluded place to relax, where we felt like the rest of our lives were a world away. The staff and owners were professional and friendly beyond measure, and the activities they recommended nearby were more than enough to keep us occupied. Each accommodation is quite different — I'd suggest emailing them to describe what type of experience you're looking for, and they can recommend which accommodation would best fit what you're looking for. We did that, and get exactly what we wanted out of our stay.

Great property, great views, and off the beaten path. Excellent food, and the hosts are excellent. It is a long drive from the airport, but I think it's worth it.

I have very mixed feelings about this place! It’s absolutely beautiful. The photos I saw beforehand did not do this property justice. The view from our room (Bali Suite) was breathtaking and the fresh air/open air style of the room was incredibly relaxing. With all that being said, this place is WEIRD! This is not a hotel. This is a BnB at most, but I would more accurately say this is a private, sprawling estate and you are a guest. I would HIGHLY encourage arriving via rental car if you stay here — it is very remote and without a vehicle you are solely committed to the property as there is nothing else within walking distance. The family who owns the homestead all live on site in various areas. The common areas are open space concept but you are not encouraged to use them at all. The pool is attached to one of the potentially occupied suites so you may be disturbing another couple. Breakfast is included and is served promptly at 9 am — your order is taken the night before. They will knock on your door to ask or just make something random if you don’t give an order in advance. There is no lunch so if you eat often, you must bring your own snacks for the day and drinks (mini fridge was in our room charging for beer/wine/soda). You are not required to stay for dinner but you kind of are pressured to through awkwardness. We avoided dinner at the hotel after the first night — be warned dinner is $45 per person and this does not include drinks (margarita was $12 and two beers $7).

We love the place and stayed for the third time, for a week. The property has eight different casitas. Come here if you like an open fire by your bed at night, a stunning garden, secluded beaches, a pool, and really nice hosts.

We spent a week here. It was so relaxing! We stay in the house we called the bird house. We could hear many different birds and we could seat and watch birds flying and hanging out right in front of the house. The staff and family made us feel like part of the family. We are planning on going back in the whale watching months. If your looking to really escape go here! Walk on the beach, sleep in a hammock, relax by the pool.
Breakfast was always wonderful and we just got snacks and drinks at the store before we headed there. Dinner could be romantic or talk to other guests that come from all over the world.
