If you don't have too many claims the CORAL AZUR HOTEL is more than fine as value for money.
The hotel is located on the sea with a small private beach and available to guests in addition to the deckchairs and beach towels there are pedalboats, canoes etc.
Upon our arrival at the Reception we were greeted by Yaseen who speaks Italian very well.
The room was garden view and you could see a glimpse of the sea; the cleaning of the rooms was daily with change of towels but this does not compensate with the dated furniture, on the bathroom there would be to open a book (shower head so small that we struggled to rinse, mixer non-existent then either you did the hot or icy shower).
Inside the room you will find a kettle and two cups (no teas or herbal teas, we would take the sachets in the morning) and a fridge (empty, for those who have the all-inclusive soft soft drinks are free and you can take them to the room and keep them cool).
The Wi-Fi is there and there is either takes bad or even does not activate and to connect you have to stay in the lobby or reception area in the rooms there is!
Breakfast is very varied thing you can't say about lunch, not to mention dinner (all buffet).
Every night a different theme and the Italian-themed evening is bad!
Luckily crossing the street you will find a pizzeria that is always part of the property with Italian pizza maker and I guarantee you that it is really worth it!

The service is just amazing… a 'homely' one. But stay away from the guys at the boat house… especially if they propose parasailing. Better book from the hotel.

We stayed here in the 1st week of June 2018. The hotel has excellent location with sea view. Amenities are reasonable. Staff are friendly and courteous. Everyday they arranged some programs to engage the guests. We got a good deal and the value for money is excellent. On the flip side — there is no ventilation / exhaust in the toilet. After using the toilet the entire room stinks. In the restaurant there are too many flies. Also there seems to be a pet cat who would stroll around in the restaurant. Some guests would even feed the cat in the same plate as the guests. The swimming pool is too small and not worth. However, the location makes up for everything.

Loved my stay for 6 days. The food is good. The hospitality is fair. The only challenge I found was the washrooms didn't have a spray gun. The Wi-Fi is not available to your rooms however they provide you with a phone which you can use to surf internet and make unlimited international calls free of cost.

Decent place for stay. Hospitable staff. Beach view. View from the rooms are not remarkable though.

This hotel is not new. Certainly it deserves a refreshment in all respects.
But the setting is very nice, the staff adorable and the buffet varied and quality. And with good value for money this justifies 4 stars.

We enjoy a lot at this place. Very good service and I recommend it to all people who want to enjoy at a reasonable cost.

This review is based on my short time there. I think about 10 minutes or so but I must say the view is amazing. The pool and restaurant are visually pleasing.

We stayed for 6 nights over here in room number 301. We beautiful place. All rooms have good views. The resort is a bit old so there were some small issues in the room like :AC water dripping and water leaching through the bath area to the toilet area. Room key was very tight and it took quite some time to lock the door each time. Room was quite spacious with a separate kids bed. Food is very nice and the menu keeps roating every night. The staff from the hotel were very good n friendly. Special mention to chef Das who had been super friendly with us and shared many stories. Water here is very expensive so we bought from the supermarket on the opposite side.

The swimming pool is more in the bathroom than outside… The staff were very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning and fridge noisy… No Wi-Fi nearby, must go to the reception which is in the other building… In short to avoid absolutely!

Experienced a destination wedding at hotel with 60 family members from SA. What an awesome experience. The hotel staff were awesome and versatile and the facilities were good. Awesome experience. Thank you Coral Azure.

Very good stay for the whole family. The food there is very good and varied and the pool nice. Good animations too. The Kids Club is also excellent, the "taties" take care of children very well. Evening activities, after dinner, allow children to care and entertain while parents relax a bit. Unfortunately the staff at the reception is very unwelcoming and the Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby, this is not very convenient.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Yes no road-side take, traffic is very strong behind it. Every evening until just after 23h always loud music from a qualitatively horrible music system. Music is heard in all the rooms! 1 Evening a week karaoke, even worse, but that stops earlier because few join in. Maximum earplugs help something. Buffet OK but a bit bland, would not take half board anymore, in front of the hotel there is a nice restaurant respectively. The pizzeria opposite which belongs to the hotel.

Nice cosy well situated hotel located in the north of Mauritius.

Family holidays with children, family-friendly hotel, free children's club, suitable swimming pool for young children. Very decent meal. Point to improve Wi-Fi a disaster, and the hotel is not first youth, but own pleasant personal. We had a great time.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. Beach right at the hotel could be nicer! After a few minutes you will be on top beaches!

Despite the low price and age do not be deceived, because it is made much for the visitors and for the children and thus contributes to a relaxing holiday.

Nice location, private beach with limited water activities. However rooms are bit run down, u could find insects, ants running in ur rooms. No room service and Wi-Fi in rooms. That's a big downside for this hotel. No change in breakfast menu for more than a week (we stayed for a week). Not even a single bottle of water is given complimentary to guests. Book only if u are ok with above cons of the property.

Having stayed du28/12/17 at 2/01/18 this hotel is of a very inferior range. No beach pool too small especially when there are a lot of kids in it. Dirty Jacuzzi (deposit of dirt on the surface). Catering BOF: communication from the staff to the reception almost non-existent by cons the cleaning staff very smiling and polite. I do not recommend this hotel: disappointment + + + + +

Great views. Rooms are OK but could use some improvement. Buffet style food is OK but not great.

We are very disappointed with this hotel the rooms are dilated the pool very poorly maintained and all the neighbors are paying half board no drink is free, no water bottle only the staff is nice.

Nice welcome and Nice location: close to Grand Bay by bus at a very acceptable price and close to a very nice beach (5min walk) ; the beach of the hotel can fill a pressing urge to bathe. The staff is attentive and helpful. Although the cocktails are approximate they are refreshing. Prices are a bit above average but the service is there: ask and you will have! The pool is in good condition and Nice, it lacks little to be a bit of shade as it can get hot. The activities proposed are the same as in a Club of the same level but the animators come to pick you for those who are free (they actually come! ). The kids club is really great! The rooms are not of a great luxury but are sufficient and they are renovated as and as it is now. They are match the price and we honestly do not go there to spend all his time in the room… otherwise go to a Palace, there are also. If you plan to go on excursions, I advise you to anticipate them in advance because you can have the same on site but not at the same price however the transport delays remain important given the geographical location of the hotel.
In summary: warm welcome, pleasant and easy stay, close to the beach, services, children are taken care of. This is the first time I go to a hotel like this and I am satisfied. Good value for money in my opinion.

Wifi is the MAJOR problem here. At room Wi-Fi coverage is zero which is annoying. Main area has good connectivity but again speed is too slow. Except this everything is super awesome.

Well how do I start. I stayed for seven days and it was one of the best resort where view was amazing. You can just sit at beach and watch sunrise and sunset without any interruption. Rooms are neat and clean. This resort fell short in service and food. Food was average. Daily almost same breakfast no change. This is budget friendly resort and very peaceful.

I went to their spa and the staff there have no idea what they're doing. Very unprofessional, they don't know the difference between the various massage techniques and I had the worst pedicure ever! The portable foot spa was not in working condition and the nail polish came off the same day even though I was very careful and wore flip flops!

Good hotel, good reception, good atmosphere, view of beach, wants to return there.

The staff is attentive to the needs of the customers. Family hotel the children have had a Merry Christmas. Very good for its class excels t price quality ratio.
