Its a very good experience. Food is nice. Boat house is ulrimate. Food services during special dinners can be improved. In all, it was a wonderful experience. Hope to be back here soon.

Great place to stay. The front of the hotel has trees view and the back side has a sea view. Hotel Staff is also very co-operative. Hotel has a nice view of sea with a private beach. Swimming pool adds the beauty with sea view. Bar is located just by the pool side. Drinks can be enjoyed by pool side which enhances the leisure of holidays. The hotel has a restaurant where delicious food is served. Hotel rooms mainly have sea view, pool view. Balcony is attached to the room to relax and enjoy the view. It also has a boat house with activities like paddle boat, kayak, snorkelling gears. By the side of hotel there is public beach, a walk can be done there too. If you want to explore nearby places, you can hop on a bus from the entrance gate of the hotel or book a cab from reception also.

Great small hotel, very attentive staff and very nice. Not much choice at the buffet but very good meal. Hotel with good value for money. I recommend it.

Staff really friendly and dedicated to the well being of the guests.
We spent 2 weeks extra, whether at the pool, at the bar or at the restaurant. We were even able to keep our room until the time of departure. I recommend this Hotel very quiet and conveniently located.

A blend of dishes: local flavours, as well as continental delicately served. Healthy salad choices. For your sweet tooth you are pampered with Indian sweet and pastries. If you are watching your weight you will be satisfied with fresh local fruit. On a hot summer day you may cool down with the large choice of ice cream.

Nice friendly staff But for us it is not the presence of a 4etoiles bcp of thing to review the beach very dirty the pool ledge grated The bottom cocktail zero on you in its plastic glasses just at the level of the restoration C good but not enough of Choice.

The room is spacious with a nice Italian shower…
Some activities are free of charge such as pedal boats and kayaks.
Small downside, the food is not extraordinary but the kindness of the staff makes you quickly forget…

Resort is bit away from the city but placed at a beautiful location. Clean beaches and decent sea facing rooms.

Terrible experience. There’s no beach at all. Pool is small. So here you don’t have places for swimming. Food is okay but you can’t get fresh juice, sparkling wine (even in all inclusive package), coffee is terrible here. Rooms are old. In my room toilet was sinking and personal doesn’t bother to fix it. About staff: unprofessional and absolutely useless.

Perfect place to stay… Resort is beautiful and well maintained… Rooms are spacious, neat and clean… The view from balcony is awesome… With the beach nearby one can enjoy to fullest… Spa facility is good enough… Food (Both veg and non-veg) tastes awesome… Staff is helpful and a lot of activities are there. Overall it is PERFECT.

Sold for the price of a 4 star but the benefits are not especially catering. Here it is a 3 stars whose services correspond.

Do not choose this hotel. The hotel is only for non vegetarians. Vry few items for veg. They gives candle light dinner for honeymoon couples. But the candle light dinner is not the real dinner… they blow a candle in too much lights. N there are other couples are also there wid u… we cant say it candle light dinner… The staff is not co operatuve… There are in mauritius most of the hotels like redison, azuri gives extra tine for check-out as your flight is late. But jalsa hotel didnt give anyone… They wants to earn money only. Dont go there…

I don't want to write a novel, so here are the facts:
Very good view.
Right on the water.
Beautiful rooms.
Top service.
Supermarket at 15 min distance by car.
Owner of the hotel is very friendly.
Restaurant has a lot to offer and delivers quality.
Room service makes you think the cleaned room has never been entered before.
Climate is basically very pleasant.
Internet could be a tick faster.
There were occasional minor power outages due to a storm (but many hotels would have had problems).
The bathroom is also luxurious and comfortable.
All in all, my wife and I enjoyed a very nice holiday here and would come back here when we are back in Mauritius.

Spent a weekend with family at the hotel. The service offered was superb. Waiters, receptionists and all staff are welcoming and helpful as well. We asked for an additional bed in one of the rooms booked and same was provided out of any additional cost. The lady at the spa, Mrs Hurrychand is really great at her job… top massage. The food was excellent though the varieties is not that so much and the dessert as well. Drinks on all inclusive quite ok too. The only thing which I think is lacking is the entertainment program. The Sega night was quite boring and the Dj on Saturday night is also the same. There was only an opened dance floor and loud music and only few vacanciers joined the floor as there was no one to put the 'jalsa'. The name the hotel does not reflect if the animation program is considered. I therefore suggest for an improvement on this side. Else I will give a big bravo to the hotel!

Nice play to enjoy with family mainly when you want peace of mind after a tiresome year at work.

Its a very beautiful resort with a personal beach and amazing food. Every night there is some activity planned in the hotel premises thats very amazing.

Really good hotel, outstanding! Great big luxury clean rooms, magnificent views on the bay. Food, breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet really tasteful. Great continental cuisine, and also very outstanding Indian food. Never got bored of the delicious food. Great cocktails in the bar. Activities like snorkling, canoes, pedalo, fitness are free for guests. Kitesurfing, fishing with boat and glassbottom boat and spa are possible for very reasonable prices. Live music and cultural events are organized a couple of times during the week. Clean private beach, and clean swimming pool. Lots of comfortable lounge beds around the pool and beachfront. The bay is starting shallow, and great for young kids. Wifi is OK, but I, m spoiled at home. Staff is great, outstanding service. All ways friendly with big smiles. We are (fam. WE ARE with 2 teenagers) got a magnificent luxurious 12days holiday, and that we will never forget. The northeast of Mauritius is not spoiled by massive tourists hotels. Over there you can taste the real relaxed Mauritian island feeling. Lots to see and to do in the nearby area. A perfect not to crowded base to explore the island. Even when the hotel is fully booked it, s relaxed and not crowded. The northeast is the last place on the island where you can have endlessly walks around the beaches. All the other areas this is not possible because you can 't pass private beaches.

Mauritius is paradise and the Jalsa Beech hotel sits on a small sheltered bay where you can watch the world pass you by. If you want nightlife and discos then go elsewhere for here you get a few bars and occasional music to accompany lunch or dinner. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are spotlessly clean and ours had a wonderful sea view plus good and varied food. I travel a lot and would recommend this hotel to couples who want high standards with peace and tranquillity.

I had been here for a complete week, Nice place with a Private Beach and some water sports allowed (very limited). Food is good (non — Veg) and stay was also good. Can improve Room service (I changed room because it was stinking and AC wasn't working).

We had a very nice time with family. Especially it was my son first birthday. Thank u for the birthday cake. We enjoyed a lot. We missing it a lot. Very memorable time.

Hotel unfortunately does not keep its promises.
The restoration is worthy of a canteen school but in no case of a hotel establishment 4 stars.
Daytime animation or nonexistent nightlife.
The staff at the nautical base very little involved and useless d hope to use the material from 16: 00.
Our room supposed to be luxury category was run down, with degraded and dirty sanitary.
Blocked paint and worn towels until the rope!
In short, our 20 years of marriage, in this hotel stay has not left us dreamy and leaves a bitter taste. Too bad, because this island is paradise and we deserve a commercial gesture from management that n has even bother to receive us.

It has been fascinating and fantastic experience, All the teams starting from reception, housekeeping, restaurant, bar were above standard. A kids miniclub would have completed the scenario. May be next time. We appreciated the hotel cleanliness.

Very good hospitality. We booked one of the deluxe rooms which are sea facing — you need only step out and you'd be on the resort's private beach, which isn't much of a swimmers paradise but more of a peace haven, or the pool — excellent place to relax overlooking the sea. The standard rooms open out to the garden are smaller and don't have a sea view (disappointing considering you've chosen a beach vacation). The boat house is great and rates of water activities are much lesser than if you book on site or online — activities we booked with them included scuba, snorkelling, swimming with the dolphins — logistics and training taken care of, at a good price. The restaurant offers varying cuisines — local, Indian, European. We found the breakfasts to be the best — with a vast spread of breads, meats, veggies, accompanied by fresh juice, milk etc, even a live counter for pancakes and omelettes. The resort arranges for in house entertainment thrice a week and the entertainers put on a great show. Barring the poor beach front, the experience at the resort can be great and enjoyable if you are looking to unwind and relax.

Beach is tiny and unkept, "all inclusive" is a sham : you're only allowed the cheapest things on the menu (even drinks), the rest you must pay They're not even making you fresh juices (with the fruits they have on that island, come on! ) Only cheap brick juice is available in the all inlcusive Rhum is cut with water (a staff actually confirmed that they are making two bottles out of one, with water). Cocktails are therefore rubish. Staff is helpful and nice tought, and bedrooms are great. But overall, very disapointed. Not worth the money.
