Charming view of St. Anne, the church, and the hill on which you can take a scenic walk through the 12 commandments garden. The owner was very kind and helpful, though I do not speak French and she did not speak English, she was patient as we figured out how to communicate.
The AC works very well, and hot water was a relief from boat life. The full kitchen and cooking pots/pans were a nice surprise. The fridge/freezer and microwave were also helpful. The marche is a short walk down the street. Further, you can walk the wooded trails along the coast and beaches. I recommend walking well-beyond the anchorage, because boats empty their black water holding tanks (sewage) and you don't want to swim in that… although most people do.
However, Booking. Com claimed there was Wi-Fi and I did not find that to be true. It is not something I blame the hotel for, just something to be aware of.

The accomodation is a backroom of a second hand cloth shop at the very center of Ste Anne, which I found quite charming. Shops, beach, scuba dive spots, marina, everything just out of the door. The lady and presumebly owner there speaks no english at all, but she is very nice and trying to help. Also, I booked it on super short notice, i. E. I just went there in super-high season and asked whether there is free rooms, and I was not bothered with paperwork at all. Very un-complicated everything. The room was kind of clean, not northern european standard but borderline ok, I guess thats just how it goes in the caribbean. The furniture is pretty much done though, things like doors and handles are literally falling apart. The bed is big enough for two. Since I was alone, it was severely overprized unfortunately.
