Basecamp Guest House

Stayed at Basecamp June 2023 and it was fantastic! It was perfect for twelve of us for a long weekend away with eleven bedrooms and all have en-suite bathrooms. The place is extremely well-equipped and Janice was extremely helpful with all of the instructions when we arrived, any questions we had during our stay and even helping with our online shopping order before we arrived. Would have no hesitation staying there again.

Stayed at Basecamp as a group of 14 in March 2023, it was a friends holiday to Malta so we were looking for something good value, close to lively parts of the island and with easy access to the cultural centre. The villa provided all of these, was very clean and overall a great base for us for the 4 days we were there.
The absolute standout feature is the amazing Janice who is the venue manager who looks after Basecamp. Nothing was too much trouble; she was available for early check-in arrivals, agreed to take in food we ordered from a local supermarket and had it all stored away by the time we arrived. She checked in with us part way through the trip to see if we needed anything and after our departure kept us updated on the return of the deposit which has come back in full.
We couldn't be happier with our stay, thanks Basecamp and thanks Janice.

Everything was really well organised whilst at Basecamp, a great place to explore Malta from. The pool was great for the kids (and adults) to let off steam and build friendships whilst only a 10-15 minute walk from St Georges or the supermarket (Greens). Janice and team were superb hosts, thanks for looking after us and making the holiday special.

Stayed here with a group of eighteen people. The house is beautiful and clean, I shared a room with my son, with our own shower and toilet. The air conditioning in the room was brilliant and very needed!. Fantastic clean pool, and great outdoor space where we had dinner every night. The house has a lovely welcoming feel, and house Manager Janice was just fabulous. She was kind, patient, informative, and genuinely cared that we all had a great holiday. Thank you very much 💓

Perfect spot to come together with a group of international friends! Enough space to spread out, work or chat. Loved the swimming every morning. Although the kitchen is rather limited in space to cook for bigger groups. From the main road parallel to the house only the moments of traffic jams and bus stops remind of an outer world.
The manager Janice was fantastic, very supportive, very accessible and warm.

We were a group of 12 and just had a great stay. Clean refurbished rooms, clean pool, well equipped kitchen, very kind and fast responsing hosts Andrew and Janice. Late checkout wasn’t a problem for free. It’s just a little loud in the daytime at the Pool area because of traffic from the direct street. With Wolt and Bolt you can easily order drinks, food and cars. And finally it’s just a 10 min walk to the great bar, pub and beach area!
