Great boutique hotel in busy Valletta centre. Needs a little more time to get itself together. Some redecorating required in our room for the ceiling, Having said that the rooms are superb, furnished with great style and quality, wonderful walk in shower and very comfortable beds. Must try the Cheeky Monkey. Staff friendly and very helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2018 and had a great experience. Great location convenient to sites and restaurants, big beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, generally good service from the front desk. I will say that the road noise could be an issue for light sleepers, as even I woke up from bottle pick-up around 3am and cannons in the morning — — — I imagine these are issues anywhere in Valletta. Check-in/out was smooth, they provided a bathroom for changing and held our luggage for us without incident.

Service is fantastic. Contempory and stylish rooms. Great bar attached to hotel and very good breakfast. Felt very welcomed and relaxed throughout my stay. Location is great aswell. Couldnt recomend more.

My husband and I arrived in Valletta very tired after a delayed flight, on arriving at our booked accommodation it wasn’t suitable at all, so we walked the streets in the heat looking for accommodation. We arrived at The St. John, we were met at reception by Kelton, he was superb, we relaxed immediately, he sorted a lovely room for us, nothing was a problem to Kelton, he answered all our questions. We had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable, modern, very clean and stylish boutique hotel,. If you are lucky enough to meet Kelton on your arrival then you will have a truly relaxing stay. Beautiful and sophisticated hotel. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff that was always available. The room was extremely comfortable with a great king size bed. This is definitely a top notch boutique hotel with a great central location for exploring Valletta and the surrounding towns across the bays. The included breakfast at the cheeky monkey was delightful. Would most certainly return and recommend.

This hotel is the best one in Malta. And the reason why I think so: it's central — parrarel street to the main Republic street which has great vibe. It's in an old, huge & authentic building & at the same time it's only 4 months old. The interior is modern & very functional. It is supplied with coffees, teas, crisps, packets of nice nuts, bottles of water & even wine and every day. Another good detail: every day you get a shaving kit with shaving cream, a good toothbrush & paste & a comb. It's amazingly good!

A beautiful property in the heart of Valletta. It is complemented by fantastic staff that make this boutique hotel a place not to miss for the traveller looking for something different in this wonderful city.

Had a lovely overnight stay at The Saint John boutique hotel. The decor of the hotel is elegant and yet cool and original. Staff very helpful and professional. Would definitely return and recommend. Well done!
