Great central location and a short walk from the promenade where you can reach ferries and boats for excursions. There are plenty of restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Don't underestimate the availability of a totally free underground car park

The Hotel has nothing of a 4 star, probably in Italy it would have 1 or 2. The room is huge and poorly organized with a completely useless living area that takes up 60% of the available space. The bedroom is small and the double is nothing more than two neighboring singles (and not joined! ) with mattresses of an inconvenience that sleeping on the wood would have been better. The bathroom is suitable for disabled (great) but these forces you to have sink and shower at knee height and therefore very uncomfortable to use.

The hotel is worth 3 solid stars. It has everything you need at good basic level: Rooms: 2 big rooms and a small bathroom (about 4 m2 — I recommend single use and not more than 2 persons in it at a time), beds in the main bedroom are ok, but the convertable beds are very hard and unkomfortable. Wlan internet is only working properly in 1 room, there are good shades and good aircondition. Food: Solid breakfast with good variety (5 € extra is a very fair price for what you get, see fotos), lunch buffet bookable for 5 € and dinner buffet for 12 €. A lot of things are not working properly or are in a state of some deterioration (our doors to the tiny terrasse, the toasters, the cornflake containers) but then again: the sun lounger on the rooftop were completely deranged (melted in the sun! ) when we arrived and got replaced during our stay. Everyone is friendly and tries to make the best of it. Location Walking distance to a big shopping mall (the point), diving (dive shack), a lot of restaurasnts and the ferry to valletta. — But then so are most hotels in sliema. All in all a clear recommandatioln for people who need some space in their hotel accomodation for sport gear e. G. And can do with basic comfort. If you are looking for 4 star comfort and a good pool to spend your holiday at this is not your thing.

These apartments are wonderful in a great location with absolutely amazing staff. The only problem we had was that when the shower/bath was used it practically flooded the bathroom. I would return but to a different room.

Cheaters, they sell you one thing that then since you get here you find another.
the room despite being large lacked cleanliness: broken air conditioner from which flowed water on the ground, bathroom sink clogged, appliances dirty…
food not good at all.
the beautiful pool that you see in the live photos is not like this at all, it is very small and the draios are all broken.
it's really nice though the hotel leaves something to be desired.

Rooms are spacious and well equipped (mini kitchen with dridge freezer, microwave kettle, toaster and all necessary tools). Bathroom need to be maintained. Room has conditioner. Poor Wi-Fi in room. Breakfast is good but almost the same every day. Pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel is very close (3 minutes) to Sliema — Valletta ferries and lots of bars and restaurant.

Stayed for 5 nights June 2018. Suite room was well laid out, bathroom needed an update mainly shower. Cleaning could do with some improvement. Had dinner in the restaurant, worst meal of all time, spoke to the chef and he said there was nothing wrong according to him (the 4 of us did not agree) they gave us a 50% discount and some burnt tarts as a peace maker. Overall hotel ok staff did their best. Pool furniture still broken. I'd rate the place 2.5star at best.

Nice hotel in a good location in Sliema. We had a suite on the 3rd floor and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. From here Malta can be explored very well. The breakfast was good, the food offered in the half board okay. They didn't miss anything. The rooms were clean and also cleaned every day thoroughly. The pool on the roof was very nice, also the view of the harbour. So, thumbs up. 4-Star rating, however, is very high. Good 3 stars would be more appropriate.

The restaurant was extremely bad, NOTHING we ate was good, everything was actually surprisingly disgusting. We were four people who ate a three course meal, and they even managed to have the worst ice cream I've ever eaten. The best thing by far on the menu was the water (not that it was cold). Do not eat here even if you'd get the meal for free.

We stayed for 4 nights in February at the hotel. The welcome at the reception was very friendly and all the necessary information was communicated to us directly. Arrived in the suite on the 5th floor we were first overwhelmed by the size of this. Both the living room and the bedroom had a small balcony with a view of the harbour. Unfortunately, a new hotel is being built which will probably limit the view depending on how high the build. The beds were comfortable, mattress covers on it, and also the mattresses were clean. In the living room there was a large fridge with freezer, microwave with grill function, toaster and kettle. Crockery, glasses and cutlery were available, even a corkscrew.
The rooms and furnishings are somewhat in the years but for the price we paid completely o. K.
The only drawback is the lack of cleanliness in the room. The surface was cleaned daily and the towels were changed on request. The whole 4 days were not cleaned properly! There is an urgent need for action.
The breakfast buffet could be booked for €5 and it was constantly refilled. It was more than sufficient and there was something for everyone. The staff was always friendly and especially the older night porter extremely helpful.
The location is very good within walking distance of the promenade, bus stops and ferry station.

We spent four nights at Christmas. Three people family. Spacious apartment with no kitchenette. Ample space. Great bathroom. At the reception a very kind Italian girl. Very professional. Council.

We stayed here for long weekend was lovely room was massive we paid 5 euro for breakfast wss very nice was clean staff lovely an friendly overall fantastic I would deffinatly go again.

Place that does not reflect advertising on the site. Breakfast is poor, housekeeping not to be defined. The big room, it can be considered an apartment, but very scruffy, in the furnishings and in the maintenance.

So for me this hotel is not a 4stars hotel highest 2 stars. The equipment has been so down. On the 5th floor there was hardly any water for showering, the shower enclosure was keimig the towels were totally frayed, color bursts from the walls, the view was on drooping power cables and a construction site. Actually, I could write a book about all the shortcomings, it should be a nice trip to my 60 birthday which I have booked with FDI.

Quality service. Nice hotel with spacious and clean room (small and sad balcony overlooking building facades). The air conditioning did not work due to the lack of batteries in the remote control. No batteries at the front desk either. Not bad in the month of may but imagine this in the middle of July. The pool on the roof is very pretty with a nice view. The hotel is well located 5 minutes walk from the boat departures to Valletta. The bus lines serve the area very well. The hotel is a bit out of the back and provides enough quiet to spend a good night.

It seems to be that hotels in Malta lack ocommon standards that apply in rest of the world. Despite the official hotel rating I would state that the truth is that the hotel is maximum two stars. So what is good? The location. What is bad? AC did not work, staff are not paying attention, hotel breakfeast is only for dogs and the suites are in desperate need for an upgrade. I would not recommend this place to the worst of my enemies.

Good location. Swimming pool upstairs with ample hours but not illuminated. Breakfast well less weekend than there were less things. Friendly receptionist. Regular Parking.

The suites are in desperate need for an upgrade. Double bed is made of two single beds that open apart. Air conditioning doesn't work. After a complain the receptionist denied the evidence and insisted the air was cold making us feel stupid. Breakfast is very basic and ingredients are very low quality. Wi-Fi was so flaky and slow we had to use our roaming mobile allowance. Daily cleaning was limited to doing the bed and changing the towels with the rest being left dirty. Overall service amatorial and unprofessional. Location is good but for the price we paid it wasn't value for money.

Big room, ice cold 1 meter deep pool in october when the whether was nice. Does not deserve 4 star like is says but a 3 — 3.5.

Great hotel. Large rates rooms and for the €50 a night with breakfast in 2 is also cheap. To cure only better the manutenziome. The shower flooded the bathroom.

The property is not bad as well as the rooms which are also large and comfortable but I am not convinced the breakfast, cleanliness, conditioners and fixtures.

Spacious, stylish, and good value suites with all mod cons (although no kitchen cooking stove, just fridge + microwave, and few crockery items), in a tranquil street away from the hustle and bustle of the Sliema waterfront, yet only a quick walk away.

Room very spacious and clean, indeed, in the bath a little bit less clean. The air-conditioning makes an infernal noise and cannot be regulated on an individual temperature, either too warm or icy. Breakfast okay. Unfortunately, the promised lunch package in the morning of the departure was forgotten, although confirmed by the concierge the evening before. Staff very friendly. The pool is rather a big bath tub, but the pool boy tries his best with cocktail mixing.

Very standard hotel, not studio. Despite large room, there are only kettle, toaster, microwave and quite big fridge. Two air conditions keeps warm/cool. Hot shower ends up soon, Wi-Fi is terrible poor. To use internet, stay cafe or outside is much better than hotel's.

We only had breakfast at the Rocca, but its was always the same. English breakfast as basic as it can be. But the staff was very nice.
