After reading all the previous reviews. I was dreading my stay here. But I can honestly say it is 100% better than I was lead to believe. Yes it's dated and scruffy and needs some TLC but it's clean, the beds are comfortable and clean. The fridge works. A lack of an electric socket for the kettle is a small niggle, but it fits on a chair. I can overlook things like that. As long as it is clean. GREAT 24/7 supermarket about 250yds away a d close to the sea.

I wish 0 stars was an option … AVOID.
We arrived at the hotel at 11:45 am we walked into the hotel and the smell Wow smelt like damp and dirty we sat in the “reception area “ which stunk aswell.
We awaited and was approached by a receptionist? She told us to follow her and we walked to the hotel next door which may I add is shown in most of there pictures on the website is the hotel next door and are complete opposites …
We got taken to check in next door which you had to walk through the pool area into a nicer hotel check in than back to HELL to receive your keys.
We had to go back and get our key from our “hotel “.
We checked in and went to the room oh my god … prisoners have better living conditions.
Damp smelling, mouldy, dirty, stains on pillows and sheets, holes in shower curtains, just pure filthy I could go on forever.
We had to sit outside at restaurants on the street till we got moved as we did not even want to be in there we didn’t even spend one night and meant to be here for 5.
Thankfully the lovely hotel next door attached to this give us a room and it is so much better and cleaner so if you’re going to book out of the 2 definitely go for the CANIFOR.

Really excellent budget apart hotel room, very basic but absolutely fine, very clean and even though was an apartment had maid service every day, clean towels, etc. Excellent location, less than five mins walk to the main bus station in Buggiba and the seafront in the other direction. There's a shared outdoor and indoor pool, games room and bar as the hotel shares facilities with the adjoining one. Really surprised by how good it was for the cost, would absolutely stay here again. Didn't take any pics this time, apart from one from the window, sorry! If I could change anything, it would be to have the TV in the bedroom and more electric sockets but these were just minor niggles.

Not what I paid for. Nothing like the pictures in the brochure. When we first arrived the person on reception was rude saying I’m not a receptionist you are staying in another hotel. Went to the first room it was disgusting smelt musty and was tired and old.

We decided on a trip to Malta for my birthday. When we arrived, we got the transfer to St Paul's Bay which on first glance was a bit run down, quite a lot of litter and there seemed to be a lot of construction going on. We arrived at the hotel and went to what we thought was reception, we were answered by the woman with "Nooooo, it's break time, wait 15 minutes or go to the reception in the other hotel". The sister hotel (Carnifor) next door was the reception for both, this was not made clear. Once we got to the reception we were met by a nice lady who checked us in but we had to go back to the prior woman to get our room key.
We then went up to our room. We were put in the apartments not part of the main hotel which wasn't very good. We walked up to the room and entered (door handle hanging off), when we got in it seemed quite spacious. The living room/kitchen light was very dim, we could barely see anything. The window in the living room faced out into the hallway which was just a view of other rooms which I found odd. There was a TV (about 15 inch) in the kitchen, not in bedroom, which you had to pay for remote. Kitchen looked alright and big fridge/freezer but we were all inclusive so didn't really use. The bathroom was okay, good size and bathtub but the shower head didn't stay up. The bedroom wasn't too bad but the view from the window was a little dirty courtyard and gave no natural sunlight.
