Seaview Hotel

We have just returned from our first trip to Malta.
The hotel is in a great position to both beach and amenities — including boat trips.
The breakfast was amazing — so many different options available including lots of dietary options too. The breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the 2 for 1 cocktails in the lounge — a great way to start off the evening!
The reception desk staff were efficient but were not particularly warm and welcoming — though Sabana was great at trying to sort out our lift back to the airport as our coach didn’t turn up.
The room was large and spacious and very clean. The air con didn’t work but we used the fan that was in the room — there was a lot of building work around the area and the windows did an excellent job at cutting out the noise of it — so even though it was January, we needed to cool the room down. We also had a problem with ‘casting’ our mobile phones onto the TV. Jessica came to help us but couldn’t sort it — it seemed to be a problem with IPhones!

Incredible hotel!
We stayed last year at the double tree which is a 5 star. In our opinion the Seaview hotel trumps it massively.
Every single member of staff, pleasant, helpful, polite and professional.
The breakfast is out of this world, top top quality and such a massive selection to choose from. I am lactose intolerant and to my surprise they had a big jug of lactose free milk on the side amongst other free from options.
The facilities have the wow factor!
The infinity pool is just breath taking with one hell of a view! We also used the indoor pool with jacuzzi aswell and that was brilliant along with the sauna and steam room!
We will definitely return, we love Malta and we love this hotel.

Great hotel, staff very attentive and welcoming and helpful. We stayed bed and breakfast and it was a really nice spread — loved the surprise pastries. No problem with the lifts, or anything. Our room was on the 7th floor and had a great side sea view of the beach and overlooked the neighbouring houses and beach club. The beach club is great and plays music until around 11pm when it abruptly gets turned off — so don't worry about not getting sleep. The hotel is crisp, fresh and was clean. We used the top terrace pool/sunbeds — which was great for drinks service and also had enough space — the hotel was busy but didn't feel over busy. Mainly couples/friends when we stayed. Short walk to supermarkets, food options etc. At this time of year the sun was on our balcony in the morning until mid afternoon.

As two ex-hoteliers, staying in hotels is just a busman's holiday and we rarely do it. We are so pleased that we decided to take a chance on the Seaview.
There is genuinely NOTHING to fault, the rooms were cleaned to an exceptionally high standard, and they had everything you could possibly need. We paid extra for a seaview, and stayed in room 222 which had dual aspect windows. It was perfect in every way.
The breakfast fare was amazing and plentiful, with the servers being extra vigilant for food which was running low.
We only ate dinner once, but it was fantastic. Fresh, well cooked and amazing value for money.
We did go to the bar a couple of times during our week, and again, the servers were amazing. It's so obviously a well managed place as as soon as a queue formed another server just jumped straight in.
We had one issue with some customers who decided that their laundry needed to be aired in public (screaming at each other in the main square and then taking it back to the hotel), and talking loudly on speakerphone, but the duty manager dealt with that really well too.
In February, Malta (temperature wise) is just right for us, and it is not as busy as during the summer months. The rooftop bar was not open, but that was fine, the pool wasn't busy, and it was a really beautiful place to watch the sun set of an evening.
The staff were fantastic, helpful, and dealing with a large number of check ins all at once in a helpful and friendly manner.

My stay at Seaview Hotel in Malta was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located right on the beach, which allowed me to enjoy stunning views and easy access to the sea.
The room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable, just as I expected. The food was top-notch — diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious, truly deserving a perfect score!
I especially loved the beautiful rooftop pool, a perfect place to relax while enjoying the panoramic views. The spa and sauna completely relaxed me, and the gym was well-equipped and available for those who don’t want to skip their workouts even on vacation.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and make my stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxing and homely, making me feel right at home.
I highly recommend Seaview Hotel to anyone looking to enjoy comfort, excellent service, and a beautiful setting in Malta. I will definitely be coming back!

Stayed here from the 2nd June until 12 June, beautiful hotel, lovely and clean. All staff are so friendly from cleaners to managers and everyone in between. We stayed on B&B breakfast was nice always fresh and refilled quickly when running low. Did not get the lovely waitress who was so lovely asking if I needed anything, due to hurting my leg before my holiday. She was always very kindly asking how I was. We stayed in room 517 on the 5th floor we paid for a sea view which was well worth it, so beautiful sat watching the sunset and sun rise from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable and hair dryer was really strong which was great, normally hotel dryers are not great so I was happy about that. Nice bottle of wine in our room when we arrived and water in the fridge. Halfway our stay we had fresh fruit also put in our room, so nice. We enjoyed our stay so definitely booking for the same time next year.

We recently stayed at the Seaview hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was also of good quality, which we really appreciated.
However, our overall experience was let down by several issues. We had booked a partial sea view room and were given room 323, which had a tiny balcony overlooking rooftops, storage areas and private terraces. The sea view could only be enjoyed by one person standing at the side of the balcony, as it was too narrow to fit two chairs side by side. These rooms face northeast and receive very little sun. In our opinion, these rooms should be classified as standard, with the limited sea view treated as a bonus rather than a feature worth charging extra for.
Thankfully, we were able to move to the opposite side of the hotel. The new room had a much larger balcony and was southwest facing, so it received more sunshine. The downside was the noise. The room was located right above a busy road and across from loud bars, but based on other reviews, it seems noise is a common issue throughout the hotel.
As for the pool area, it makes a great first impression. Unfortunately, it quickly loses its appeal due to overcrowding. Sunbeds are packed so tightly together that it’s difficult to relax or find any space.
The beach is a concreted platform covered with gritty sand, with either a metal ladder or a slipway to access the sea.

What a fantastic hotel, with great staff who just can’t do enough to ensure you are happy and comfortable. The staff are always smiling and welcoming and go above and beyond. The rooms are stunning, well maintained and serviced daily with a great view of the sea (which is just across the road). Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge with a large bottle of water as a welcome gift. The range of food is varied accommodating all dietary requirements and always freshly prepared. Breakfast and evening meals are always delicious. The indoor swimming pool is heated and a jacuzzi, sauna and steam provide an ideal relaxation area. There is an outside pool on the top floor but it was a little cold to try in February! I cannot praise this hotel and staff enough. Highly recommended.

Brilliant hotel at the east coast of Malta. The hotel has big and modern rooms, good bathrooms and a nice balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pools (one outdoor, one indoor) are great and can be used through the whole year. The breakfast is yummy and the choice of food is also good. The hotel is surrounded by bars, restaurants and the sea, also supermarkets closeby. A big plus is that the rooms are very quiet. The price for the stay is fantastic for what you get here.

Service at the hotel by the sea staff was great attentive and courteous. Location of our room was fine except when the wind is high. Our room was well looked after beds made cleaned and clean towels daily. The food served was excellent only concern is you have to early and quick to eat as the food goes cold quickly as it’s buffet. We found it easier to eat in the bar for a hot meal and it’s served. Drawback not enough choices on the menu. Pool ok gym was fine for my use. Would recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 11 nights in November 2020 and would now like to describe our stay. First of all the positive things.
The size of the room was OK for a suite.
The view of the sea from the room and balcony was wonderful.
The cleanliness of the room (except for the last Sunday — see negatives) was always OK and the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff must be emphasized.
But now to the many negative things.
Once the beds were not made properly and drinking glasses were not washed. There was also no fresh drinking water. The red wine that you get in your room once a week is sour and undrinkable.
The outer cover of the whirlpool was defective and the toilet brush was an imposition. The shower is not tight, as soon as you shower the water runs out and the whole bathroom floor is wet. When the balcony door is open there is an audible draught from the entrance door as the doors are not airtight. The bathrobe is far too small for a man of normal build.
It felt like breakfast consisted only of beans and bacon! Sometimes canned fruit is served. There is hardly any variety, the desserts (cakes and muffins) are probably cheap ready-made products. The waiters at breakfast are unmotivated, at 7 a. M. The tables are sometimes not fully set.
The rooftop pool is not heated so you can't go in here in November. The pool in the basement is far too small, it's not a real spa.
The 4 lifts are overloaded as it feels like the staff are always using them.

The Seaview. Well not all rooms have a seaview and our room looked over the backs of restaurants and local housing.
In the evening till late it was quite noisy, even with the doors shut.
The room was as per the hotel pictures.
The balcony sliding doors didn't work when we first got there but that was quickly resolved by maintenance.

A great hotel with perfect service and excellent meals, ideally located. It’s a perfect base for exploring the island. I believe it’s an ideal place for a peaceful getaway. The hotel only accommodates adults aged 16 and above. You’ll find two pools here – one outdoor and one indoor – as well as a spa area. The cleanliness is top-notch. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. We were given floor nine directly under the infinity pool, and I think it may have been leaking, as there was severe water damage to the walls and the plaster kept coming off. There was also a need of some tlc on the balcony. Our room was also next to the boiler room, so you had a constant drone from them all night. The bed albiet enormous, was so hard, we both found it difficult to sleep. Other than these slight issues, the hotel was amazing. The location superb and the view stunning. Breakfasts were hot and plentiful. Don't drink in the bar as it is outrageous. £18 euros for a small whisky and we were told that half board evening meals were very standard.

Nice hotel, not a stand out amazing hotel. The hotel staff were attentive, welcoming and sorted out the issue we had very quickly. All staff around the hotel provided great customer service.
The room was clean, the towels could be next in line for replacing as not fluffy and a bit past their best.
Breakfast is buffet style and was very good every day, we didnt eat at the hotel for any evening meals.
Infinity pool was clean but obvs cold in winter, the indoor pool was warm and clean but the power showers were in need of a maintenance check.
There are 4 lifts and you use your card to access your floor, its a safe, clean well located hotel close to the bus station and great food places in nearby streets.

First visit to Malta and we weren't disappointed.
From check in to check out we were met with the most friendliest and helpful staff we have come across. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and transport so don't hesitate to ask.
Our room was on the 6th floor facing the double tree hotel, not the greatest view however it wasn't an issue.
Our room quite spacious, with open hanging spaces, free aircon, free safe, small fridge, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee facilities etc.
Bathroom very spacious with a lovely big shower.
Housekeeping did a great job everyday cleaning the rooms.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Rooftop pool was a lovely area, probably really busy in the height of summer but for us at the end of October it was perfect.
Turn left out of hotel you'll find the majority of the restaurants and turn right out of the hotel is the way to the bus station.
Malta bus services are excellent and only 2.50 each way.
All in all a great place to stay and would definitely return.

We stayed at The Seaview Hotel from the 1st to 15th November 2024 and what a wonderful hotel it is! the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble Lucy on reception was exceptional. Our room was immaculate as was the whole hotel Jeta our housekeeper was amazing. We really made use of the indoor pool it was the perfect temperature. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and breakfast was beautiful there was something for everyone overall I would recommend this hotel 100%
