It turned into the most serendipitous blessing! Peter and Nancy welcomed us like family from the moment we arrived, creating a truly special and heartfelt experience.
The charming house was our safe haven – comfortable, peaceful, and full of character. The rooftop terrace was breathtaking, offering unforgettable sunsets and panoramic views over West villages of Gozo.
Despite Gozo’s summer heat, our room was always cool and comfortable thanks to the effective AC and fan. The **ground-floor pool area** was an oasis – quiet, calm, and incredibly relaxing (even without a view! ).
But the true standout was the incredible hospitality. Breakfast was a feast – perfectly organized with fresh bread and seven delicious side dishes daily. Peter and Nancy spoiled us relentlessly, making us feel as cherished as if we were at our *mother’s home*. Each afternoon, we were greeted with a different homemade cake or fresh fruit flan — such a thoughtful touch!
The location is ideal: just steps from Żebbuġ Square, yet nestled in a quiet, traffic-free alley ensuring peace. Parking was always easy nearby.
Thank you, Peter and Nancy, for making our stay so profoundly special. Ta’ Marie isn’t just accommodation; it’s a place of warmth, generosity, and unforgettable memories. We cannot praise you or your beautiful home enough! ❤️

This was the second visit to Nancy and Peter’s delightful B&B in Zebbug, Gozo and we certainly hope that it will not be our last. They are brilliant hosts who provide not just lovely accommodation and superb food but nothing appears to be too much trouble for them. We feel that they have gone way beyond the effort that you would normally expect a host to make so that you are made to feel welcome and we have happily recommended them to friends who we know are considering Gozo as their holiday destination next year. A great find on a beautiful island.

In my experience BnBs have always been a hit or miss. But Ta Marie Merhba is definitely a hit! Peter and Nancy are lovely, chilled hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The breakfast is delicious, locally sourced and healthy — make sure you ask Peter to make his spinach omelette (you won't regret it) and at 4pm there is coffee and cake (homemade) time.
We stayed in the Lizard and Seahorse rooms, which were both clean and comfortable. We spent some cosy evenings in the mezzanine playing board games supplied by the BnB.
All in all a great stay and we will definitely go back again!
