This place is a true gem. Well kept and cared for, truly a lovely stay. Felt welcome and at home from the get-go. The room and entire b&b is clean and stylishly finished, breakfast is great. Highly recommend anyone going to Gozo to stay here.

🤍First and foremost, our adorable hosts were so friendly, caring, extremely kind and hospitable!
🤍The house itself is a true work of art, style, cozyness and filled with such pure and loving vibe.
🤍Our 'Suite with Terrace' was so gorgeus, very comfortable and with a spacious terrace with a truly beautiful view!
🤍 Breakfast was superb, every single morning, very well thought through and the selection was excellent!
🤍Last, but not least, the location of the house is excellent, nestled in a very quiet area of Victoria, which center is literally 10min walk away.

I came to Gozo because I was attending a 5-night writing retreat at the Ta Tenc Spa & Resort. So that I could experience another property in Gozo I decided to stay at The Carob Tree for two nights before that began. My flight was late into Malta and I arrived around 11:00PM (23:00) and Matthew greeted me. The room I selected was upstairs and I have some challenges at times with stair so they were gracious enough to give me the option of a downstairs room if I would prefer it (since it was available). There were maybe 40 stairs going up to the third level but they were doable and the view was well worth it! Matthew helped with my heavy bag so that was appreciated. I missed breakfast the first day since I slept in. When I did wake up and went downstairs for coffee I was happily all by myself and the main area and kitchen were spotlessly clean and quiet. The pool view is just lovely and I was grateful for some quiet time (with my lattes! ). The room was very comfortable and spacious — the entire property is absolutely spotless and well designed & decorated. This is a lovely property owned by a married couple (who live next door) and it could not be a better place to stay in Gozo! I saw an incredible sunset from the private terrace off of my room. I slept well and felt so comfortable there… It is my hope to spend a week at The Carob Tree next time. It's a very peaceful escape. For me, it was a far better place to stay than Ta Tenc Resort without a doubt!
