Truly a wonderful experience staying in a 300-year-old gozitan house. The house is beautifully renovated with charming antique interiors. The room had all the amenities — from cotton pads to British adapters — which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was fresh and homemade, adding a lovely touch to our mornings.
Lorenzo is a fantastic host — very helpful and full of great local recommendations. We had some really nice conversations with him during our two-night stay.
The location is central and easily walkable to the main center, with a bus stop just 200 meters away. The area is peaceful and quiet — we had the best sleep!
Overall, a great stay with excellent value.

We had a wonderful stay at Gawhra BnB in Gozo! The highlight of our experience was definitely our host, Lorenzo. He’s incredibly friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge. We had many engaging conversations with him throughout our stay, and he truly made us feel at home.
Lorenzo also gave us great recommendations and personally guided us through the best sightseeing spots around Gozo — it made our trip even more special. The breakfast was decent and gave us a good start to our days of exploring.
Overall, a cozy place with a lovely host. We would definitely come again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gozo!

Gawhra BnB is located in the center of Victoria, an ideal base to explore the island of Gozo, yet situated on a very quiet pedestrian street. It’s a traditional house with all modern comforts—the room was spacious and clean. The owner, Lorenzo, speaks both English and Italian and is extremely helpful with tips and suggestions. Excellent breakfast (in addition to the typical sweet and savory options, Lorenzo will gladly provide croissants upon request).

A great place to relax! Lorenzo, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful – his warm approach made us feel right at home. Every morning, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts with a touch of local flavors, which were a real treat. The hotel’s location is another advantage – being close to the bus terminal makes it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!

A 300 year old Gozotian house, central location and quite atmosphere. Lorenzo is the host of the Gawhra B&B. He is genuinely helpful and kind with his guests.

Lorenzo was the PERFECT host. The B&B itself is a wonderfully beautiful old Gozetan building, with spacious rooms. The breakfast was a wonderful mix of local dishes. Although you are in the heart of Victoria, the rooms block out the outside noise.
The B&B is in a great location, with both the bus station and citadel only moments away.
If you want an authentic experience of Gozo, stay here. Lorenzo is full of local knowledge and gave us the best advice and guidance throughout our stay. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again!

Gawhra… a Diamond in central Victoria. The most charming and comfortable traditional townhouse perfect for those who want to experience the authentic Gozitan culture and serviced by Lorenzo, a hardworking host and true gentleman. Good value for money and spotless. Continental breakfast is served by the host in a pretty garden at the back of the house. Talk to the host of any food intolerances and he will cater to all your needs. Truly a gem in the middle of Gozo capital. Can't wait to return on my next Gozo break. It's a perfect location to explore Gozo. The accomodation itself was fantastic and atmospheric. Breakfast was delicious and included regional dishes.
Our host, Lorenzo, went out of his way to make our stay there perfect. He was very helpful and recommended a lot of places to visit and gave us a lot of tips on how to explore the island.

We stayed at this delightful guesthouse for our 4 nights in Gozo. The guesthouse is centrally located in Victoria, a couple of minutes walk to the main square, really convenient for all the restaurants and shops.
When you enter the guesthouse you are met with a beautiful open hall/sitting area with an open staircase to the upstairs guest rooms. To the back of the property is a lovely terrace where breakfast is served each morning. There is also a coffee/tea station which is available to guests anytime.
We saw 2 rooms which were very similar. Our room was large with stone walls, a balcony overlooking a quiet street, en suite shower room and plenty of storage space. It was super clean with quality bedding and pillows.
Now to the star of the show Lorenzo!
He checked each day if we needed our room cleaning, bedding or towels changing, and asking if there was anything else that we needed.
He always made time for a chat each morning during breakfast to ask our plans and to suggest places to see and restaurants to visit (even booking tables for us). We were very appreciative of his recommendations, we ate at some fantastic restaurants and saw beautiful parts of Gozo that we wouldn’t have necessarily found. He also arranged our transfer back to the port for the ferry back to Malta.
We can wholeheartedly give Lorenzo and Gawhra guesthouse 5* and would recommend them to anyone.

This beautifully restored home is in the perfect location to explore Gozo and also has great restaurants within walking distance. Accommodations are wonderful = comfy bed and pillows, AC, great water pressure in shower, good hair dryer, delicious breakfast, quiet. Lorenzo, the host was fantastic, so kind and helpful, even got my celiac Husband GF toast for breakfast. He grew up on Gozo, so is super knowledgeable and spent a lot of time helping us plan the best places to explore.

We stayed here on the long weekend. The room on the top floor is quaint spacious and very tastefully decorated. The building is almost 100 years old, yet it’s very well maintained and has tons of character. Homemade breakfast & fresh coffee can be served on the little cozy terrace overlooking the beautiful courtyard. It’s very well located in proximity to the central square, lots of local restaurants & bus station. The owner is super friendly and caring who went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Lorenzo went above and beyond in providing us not only a comfortable bed and delicious, traditional Maltese breakfast, but also advised us on fun activities and sights to see, and even made sandwiches for our departure. Lorenzo is clearly passionate about his work in hospitality, caring for his property and guests with unmatchable kindness and grace. Fantastic location and beyond welcoming, would definitely stay here again!

Brilliantly located B&B mere steps away from the citadel and the centre of Victoria. The owner is Lorenzo, who could not have been more helpful, taking time to talk us through the not to be missed eating places or places to visit. The house is delightful, around 300 years old and has been lovingly restored throughout, maintaining original fixtures and decor where possible. Breakfast is prepared by Lorenzo and served on the garden terrace. We were lucky to be visiting whilst Lorenzo's nispero tree was bearing lots of tasty fruits which he served as part of breakfast — I have used the tree's Spanish name as I can't remember it's Maltese name! Thank you, Lorenzo, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.
