Had an absolute fabulous time at this resort. Cannot fault anything. Room, food and service was second to none highly recommend.

What can I say! The most amazing holiday ever! Staff are incredible, from the management to the young hostess staff, waiters and bar staff! Everyone is incredibly friendly and happy to stop and have a chat! So many smiling faces that have made our holiday so special! The food is exceptional EVERY night! No need to eat in the a la carte but we did and the experience was fantastic! Again staff so hospitable and food just off the charts! Entertainment on every night but very tasteful! From “white night” to traditional Maldivian night to the amazing duo who entertain us during dinner then move to the bar afterwards! The atmosphere is so easy going and incredibly friendly! It really does feel like a family which we hope to come and visit again! If your contemplating a stay at the Cocoon then don’t hesitate any further, do it! We stayed in water villa 406 and had the sun all day!

Amazing location. Brilliant helpful and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Being there at Easter there were many activities put on for the children.

Dear Cocoon Team, our 11night honeymoon on this dream island was absolutely stunning!
Everything was perfectly organized. Getting to and back from the island, the
housekeeping, all waiters, staff cleaning the island — everything is perfect. The meals are varying every day. Especially we liked the Indian and Maldivian nights, where we could choose some bit more exotic food. The SriLankan egg hoppers are marvellous! Our outstanding waiter Hasan knew our needs at all times and it was very interesting communicating with him about his Maldivian home island.
We also want to thank Dilshan who is absolute master in cutting every exotic fruit existing.

Well arrived for our 2nd visit to Cocoon, what can I say other than we are receiving absolutely fabulous service. Made to feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble, the staff are all amazing, the food is amazing, the water villas are a dream come true, the whole island is perfect! Our rating is 5 **** we cannot fault any aspect of Cocoon Maldives.

Paradise on earth! Truly a magical experience. Only our second day here and it’s just amazing. Everything about the resort is on point. From the friendly staff, to the hotel facilities, food and entertainment. Looking forward to the rest of the weeks activities planned ❤️

Watch out — it does not offer what one expects from Maldives. It's a little beautiful island (we swam around it in perhaps 25 minutes), but unfortunately, the best time of the day, every day, the island is turned into a very loud night club. We had booked a lagoon villa — which are above the water and are supposed to be peaceful. But the music was so loud that we were not able to sleep until midnight, every night. And the problem is that unless you put your head in the water, you have no where to go to escape the loudness. It is a small place and the music is louder than in any night club I've been in London, New York etc. There is an additional problem — often there is line singing, which is pretty bad, but extremely loud. This we, and people we spoke to, found it unbearable. We have been in another resort in Maldives with similar place, but it was incomparable. It was peaceful, beautiful, nice mucic in the bars etc — it was a Maldivian experience. If you can't sleep comfortably with very loud music on, this is something to consider.

This is our second visit ans we enjoyed it even more staff are wonderful jewel in the crown of Cocoon.

It's a gorgeous island with a great beach and a massive lagoon. Cocoon's vegetation hasn't been affected too much so it retains an air of a proper tropical island. Lots of skinks and colourful lizards. Plus some lovely sea birds frequent the island. The rooms are neat, with clean lines, furniture is courtesy of Italian designer Lago. Bathrooms are spacious with an outdoor shower area. Dining is great too, the main restaurant packs quite a bit of variety with Asian, Italian and other continental fare. Good selection of salads for vegans. Staff are pretty attentive and super friendly. Definitely a place I'd could come back to.

Those who for the first time in the Maldives, of course you do, but for those who travel constantly, the Hotel is not drawn to 5. A lot of cons : no in room toothpaste and toothbrush at check-in there is no fruit in many wines and champagnes, mini bar half mini-bar. At dinner, lobsters and coconuts for a fee. Electric cars will not wait, I have to constantly walk that is not very convenient when you have kids, and even if the stroller. No its ATOL. The room has no bath, which is not convenient when the kids. Fruits only for dinner, and no fresh juices. The rooms are very small. The food is really tasty, not so diverse that it is enough.

Excellent staff, exquisite cuisine especially for those who are fond of pasta never fails, every day different fish, a sweet papaya for those who are a lover and lots of other fruits… and sweets at will ❗ is absent the coral reef, but there are fish and squaletti to shore.

I liked everything.
I have nothing to plead for!

Beautiful hotel. The villas are amazing! At night you can see some really beautiful fishes swimming by the stairs. The service was prompt and courteous and the restaurant is pretty good. It's a paradise.

Resort immersed in a beautiful tropical environment, manicured rooms, excellent restaurant and white beaches. Also recommended for those who do diving.

A heavenly place and an assured relaxation.

We stayed for a week and we are already thinking about coming back. The hotel is a paradise and the service is 10. Every day there are free activities and other fees. Buffet meals are very varied and quality. The whole team is tipped over with the guests so they feel good at all times.

The resort is a 35-minute seaplane ride from Malé Airport. At the exit of the flight you pick up a representative of the hotel (counter 23) that tells you how to do the turnover for the seaplane and how to get to the terminal to catch the flight of the Transmaldivian Airlines. We found that they allow 25 kgs of checked baggage per person and 5 kgs of hand baggage. We had to pay excess baggage.
Once you get to the hotel you are greeted and escorted to the room.
We were in 3 rooms along our stay, 2 villas on the sea and one on the beach. All spectacular. The sea's have a staircase that gives directly to the ocean and the beach an outdoor bathroom and a kind of terrace directly on the beach.
advisable to wear shoes to bathe in the sea. There are plenty of hedgehogs and shells that can hurt your feet.
We were all inclusive (which should be called almost all inclusive, because there were several things that if you wanted them you had to pay them to part) and the main restaurant Octopus has an excellent buffet. Every day of the week for food they do something different and there are themed dinners. Absolutely spectacular.
Drinks are included in the pool bar. Both the restaurant and bar staff deserve a 10!
The activities and excursions are quite expensive.
There is coffee, tea, soda and water in the rooms.

Paradise Holiday… all top and all super friendly Maledivianer.

A place of 10 to spend your honeymoon in addition there is a girl who speaks Spanish comes very well if you do not know English anyway people are super friendly and if you speak slowly more or less between signs and others understand you every day have a gift snorkel just have to Book your appointment and if you have no team you give it is wonderful.

The place is just as amazing as all other hotels around. However, the "all-inclusive" plan is quite far from including everything you would expect at a resort in this price range. The drinks are rubbish except for water and beer, expect to pay prime for any decent booze. The 3 meals are good but the bar snacks and room service are charged extra. All activities except snorkel and kayak are paid and quite expensive. In summary, terrible value but you'll probably forget about money in this place anyways.

Totally unique and beautifull place! If You get the oppertunity to visit this Island, you have to Do it! You wont regret it! Staff ist superb, the food delicious and lots of varity and the Ambiente… Breathtaking! I'll come again! Thank you for the unforgettable time!

The perfection of sobriety and lightness, if it were possible to give praise I would give even the academic kiss say cleanliness perfect room, courtesy of the staff always and at the restaurant forget about the diet.

Fairy, there is no other term to describe this beautiful place. Having taken advantage of a huge promotion because of its recent opening we were upgraded and it was just splendid. Friendly staff and small care, room (Villa Lagoon) Very large, clean and functional with direct access to the sea from the private terrace… Just happiness!

Been here just for 3 days out of a 7 days booking. The beauty of the island is breathtaking. I was a bit disappointed with the weather since it was a bit grey, windy and occasionally it would rain, but today the sun shined unveiling in full glory the sheer beauty of the island and its crystal clear water. Regarding the Hotel itself, Cocoon Maldives I have nothing bad to say. Rooms are modern looking and cleaned (I stayed in one of the Lagoon Villas). Staff clean the room twice a day which is great. The food is good with enough choice for every taste. Staff is always warm and very polite. There are activities available for those that like to stay active. Water skies, snorkeling, diving, paddle surf, etc. It is a quite place, even though the hotel is at or near full capacity you don't run into many people. If you are looking for crazy nights at a big resort, look elsewhere (you can always go to the bar or throw your own personal party… ;) ). Would recommend this island and resort without hesitation.

I moved to cocoon hotel from sheraton full moon, where I lived at a beach house for two days as platinum member; sheraton is close to the Male, slightly more expensive than cocoon food and spa wise. I took the boat from sheraton to Male, taking sea plane cocoon in the afternoon, which took me about 40 minutes. I lived at a water villa, which cocoon people refers to as lagoon villa. Food is nice with chef from Italy. Nice desserts, as they are made fresh in the morning, as confirmed by a very good looking Italian waitress from Naples. The room design is succinct and modern, which I like. The only downsides is that it's a new resort, only reachable by sea plane, running the latest 5:30pm. If your flight to make came late than 4:30, you might have to stay in Male or other hotels close accessible by speedboats. Also, the lagoon villas are nice in the day time, but there is no lamp for illumination on the desk if you want to write or read on the desk. Maybe it would be better there is options to lend a lamp. — amazing views and providing options for island hopping and water sports.

What an island holiday, we loved our stay. The staff, accommodation, food, setting, management are stunning and beautiful.

Simply put; just amazing. 1. The Italian design (lago) of the interior are simple, clean and emphasizes the island life. Truly breathtaking 2. There are many activities like water sports, island hopping or even a visit to an uninhabited island 3. Staff/management was extremely helpful and catered to our every need with a smile and are always polite 4. Overall it's a beautiful location to visit and enjoy at leisure.

There isnt really anything to fault the hotel on. This was my first island holiday and one of my best holidays thus far. We are sad to leave but will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

Great resort with friendly staff. The food was absolutely amazing with a good variety. On the down side They need more umbrellas by the pool side, water sports center was not very organised. Other than that it was an unforgettable stay, highly recommend.

Maldives but with one more gear! Spacious rooms kitchen very varied, elegant but not formal. Also ideal for families.

Amazing place, highly recommend it! The staff was very polite and always on hand to help. No request was too big for them and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. The physical setting is beautiful — we saw octopus, stingrays, baby reef sharks and lots of other fish literally right outside our lagoon villa. Finally the food — — very very good. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Desserts in particular are good. We asked for a custom made Indian meal two afternoons and the staff happily accommodated us, that was probably one of the best meals I've ever had at a a hotel. Thank you Ram and team for making our stay an absolutely amazing and unforgettable one!
