Wow. What an island and what great staff! Coco Palm is kept in the traditional standards of a Maldivian island (which in my opinion is what the Maldives is all about). There is no tv's in your rooms, no sky, no pool (why you would want a pool with the most beautiful pool is outside your door! ) And no shoes. The rooms are Maldivian with a thatched roof and comfortable throughout. You get shampoo and conditioner and various other bits provided. You also get beach towels. The island is suffering from erosion so there are sand bags around but to be honest you get used to them. The main beach is stunning and the water like a bath! The main buffet restaurant is truly top class food with a lovely choice every day, the chef will make you anything you require. Lots of trips (mainly snorkelling) are available daily including Manga, Dolphins and turtles. The staff cannot do enough for you and nothing is to much trouble. All in all a fab island to visit. We will be back.

Very natural, quiet island, great for relaxation and snorkeling. Well maintained Resort, food varied and good. The Sunset Villas are the best to enjoy this paradise, especially those closest to the beach bar.

Everything great on this island are all nice to everyone were now 11 days here and already the 2 times come back again and again gladly here!

Even after the third time I was totally happy with Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu. The staff friendly, food (all inclusive) fantastic, mega lots of choice from the buffet but also the BBQ dinner is worth to try for an extra charge. The "Sogennaten" chefs Schmeisen the shop… but also the luggage carrier strives for the well-being of the touris:).
From the villas and the hygiene it is always different… you have to get used to beetles and mosquitoes but this is normal for a Duschungel;). Only in Villa 48 (last accommodation) I had an encounter with a Kakalarke in the drawer on the last day. Therefore, it is advisable to unpack everything in front of the suitcase and;) again when packing.
Good month of travel for me was March (2016 > December/2017 > November/2018 > March), if it doesn't want to be spring in Germany, this time in the Maldives at feels 32-34 °c and water temperature 28 °c is simply a dream.
Unfortunately, after the third time, I was able to realize how fast the tides claim the atolls… therefore many sandbags on the beach and or in front of the own villa possible. The staff is standing behind to maintain the island.
Clearly one could criticize "a few things" and also "praise" but I find if you travel to a resort that consists partly of Duschungel and partly of water… you have to reckon with everything. One is just a lot connected with the thropischen nature… that's what makes the beautiful.

Coco Palm is the best place for honeymoon couples who want to have quiets moment practicing mindfulness together. I had an enjoyable experience there and would like to come back one more time for my honeymoon. Beside, I do not want to spoil this beautiful place. You have to earn through experience. Enough said!

This is an amazing 4 star resort. Superb service and excellent atmosphere. Stunning scenery and a great place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy your vacation. Rooms are very good with all the modern amenities on a different platform. Strongly recommend for couple.

Unfortunately the ubiquitous sand sacks to combat marine erosion spoil a bit the whole.

Great place for couple or friends on a quiet holiday. A place of dream and a service to the top.

Of the pros-the island is big and green, there are Krabi, lizards, local chickens and of course flying dogs. They give fins with a mask, reefs nearby, went to the beach and swam. There is a turtle rescue center, they are treated there, you can see and then together to release into the ocean. Of the cons-in the bar thought that we have all inclusive and we were told that there is no beer, then learned that we have not all included, and we have beer for money-and beer was found. They must have a limit on who's all inclusive. Our very much, I even found on the beach seeds. Those who went to the villas on the water, ran to the island in the shoes on the red-hot path, we walked all week barefoot. Our villa was on the beach, in the shade of palm trees. Well, the food is so-so. Special thanks to peasant-Kokosniku. So nice, smiling. The pool was very nice.

Extremely lovely. Absolutely recommend to go for a quiet, peaceful vacation or a honeymoon. Pristine beaches, lovely walks through natural greenery and villas are awesome. Ample privacy, helpful staff. Can be reached only by seaplane from Male.

Awesome experience. Value for money place. Completely no issues with vegetarian food and water. You get all these very easily contradictory to all other reviews I read about Maldives before coming here.

Great place for a beautiful holiday. Loved the trails connecting the rooms and facilities. Very windy on one side and calm on the main beach side. Every villa has its own private feel beach area. Great food and warm staff.

There is something so special about this resort. It's not decadently luxurious like some more expensive resorts, but there is such a good energy on the island. The rooms are so peaceful, the beach in beautiful, there are turtles all around the island, the food is definitely 5-star and the resort genuinely cares about nature. The design is minimalistic and is very relaxing. The spa is wonderful too.

This place is like a dream. Great food and a beatiful beach. But everything is really expensive, even the softdrinks. The Staff is friendly and allways smiling.

We arrived back this morning from this beautiful island. It was better than I had dreamed it could be. In fact I cried when we left. The staff are so friendly and attentive they can't do enough for you. The food is delicious and there is so much choice, there's definitely something for everyone and the deserts are to die for. The bungalows are lovely and comfortable and kept up to high standards of cleanliness. There can never be more than 200 people on the island so it's a great escape if you are looking for peace and quiet. No tv's no newspapers no outside world it's just you and the island. The beach bar is a great place to be to watch the most amazing sunsets and enjoy a cocktail or 2. Or go and relax in the bar while listening to a duo or watch a film under the stars. Now you know why we didn't want to leave. Brendan and his staff make you feel that way. We will definitely be going back xx thank you for a magical week xx.

This place is actually better than it appears in the brochures! It easily ranks as our 'best holiday ever'. The beach was secluded, the sea warm and clear and we had beautiful blue skies every day.

Excellent hotel, beaches amazing and great for snorkeling. The staff are really nice and helpful. The villa are comfortable and dispose everything you need for peaceful stay, but if you are looking for high modern luxury maybe try his little brother (newest) Food is really good and varied for a buffet. Possibility of excursions with the hotel or on the beach with the sport centre or diving centre. Excellent location, some of the best hotels are located nearby I think it says a lot. Had an excellent stay here and would definitely recommend it. Would recommend the luxury villa with pool (lot of privacy and well located on the islands).

Really great relaxing atmosphere. All buildings, Bars and bungalows have a great architecture and incoporate local materials. Excellent choice of food at all times, extremly friendly staff. One of the best holidays in a long time, we can recommend this Hotel 100%

Great snorkeling on the east side of the island.

Too expensive, a beer at$ 10 with taxes, they are completely in the west. Tours of 9 o'clock in the morning till 13h30 to swim with manta rays (it was beautiful by the way) at$ 125 per person, with just a drinking a bit of fruit … need to be able to afford it. Hotel is not worth 5 stars. Depending on what operator of travel you have, it is 4⭐ or 5⭐… a good holiday.
