Sameer treats you like family and not the typical high-priced resorts. We had a wonderful time during our stay in January and would definitely recommend it!

I stayed few nights with my mom and sister. During the stay Sameer, his team and family went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. They arranged a very nice beach BBQ for my moms birthday and was always available to help with anything. The food was very nice, rooms are clean and we felt very safe. I would love to go back with my family again one day and I can definitely recommend anyone who wants a nice local experience in Maldives to stay at Sunrise Huraa. Thank you again Sameer for making our holiday special.

I’m all packed up after 6 days here at Sunrise Huraa, but I wish I was staying for another 6 days. The atmosphere is terrific; a great retreat for couples or families—very kid-friendly! One will find no shortage of activities: fishing, snorkeling, surfing, and island excursions—to name but a few—all led by the property host and his warm and knowledgeable staff. Rest assured you will be in caring hands and looked after. Bring plenty of sunscreen, as the snorkeling is addicting and the visibility and wealth of things to see is remarkable!

Sameer, the owner of the property, has created a very comfortable and relaxing guesthouse with extra amenities that one would normally expect to find at a luxury resort. He has also ensured that he has a well trained and professional team to look after the needs of his guests. Throughout our six night stay we were so well looked after that all our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. We highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone seeking first class accommodation at a reasonable price on the island Huraa.

After visiting our daughter at four seasons we spent our 2nd week at this wonderful guest house. Super clean room, Samir and his staff were amazing, attention to detail at every opportunity. We ate at the guest house throughout our stay and Samir gave us a tour of the island. Lots of excursions if you want them, also bikini beach we went to everyday. We would definitely stay again if we came back to the Maldives.

Very nice trip, the guest house was perfect, the food and the cocktail were amazing. The location is very good, just near to the beach. I spent a very good time thanks to Samir and his staff.

I have no words to describe what The Sunrise Huraa and the team around it meant for us. Sameer, Mohamed, Farry and Chef, some extraordinary people that make you feel at home 10, 000 miles away. You need something … it solves, you want something … it's solved, you want to do something … just resolved. I mean, people do not know how to say no … And the prices are excellent for what they offer. The house is new, new furniture, new sanitary ware, everything is great. They take care of everything that house means. Sameer, the best owner of guest houses in Huraa … and not only. I mean, it made me think it was the first time I felt so well on a vacation and I enjoyed it all. Mohamed, best manager and computer scientist. The man who if not, maybe I did not get to meet these wonderful people. Farry, the hottest captain who knows how the wind blows and how big the waves are, looking only at the right hand :), but also a friend of hope. Chef, the best chef on the island. I can not make any comparison with any other guest house on that island and I can not compare the people I met at The Sunrise Huraa and other hotels, villas, guesthouses where I stayed now in my whole life. Certainly The Sunrise Huraa and these wonderful people are not 10, but at least from 11 upwards. We will definitely return at least once.

Wow, where do I start. Our first time to the Maldives, which we split between The Sunrise Huraa and a large upscale nearby resort. We weren’t too sure what to expect, but the day we left this special little guesthouse for the resort, we were really sad to leave. They say it’s the people that make the place, and this couldn’t be more true about The Sunrise Huraa. From the moment we made the booking to our arrival back home, we were blown away by the exemplary service and warm hospitality shown to us every step of the way. Sameer who owns the business has over two decades experience working in an ultra luxurious 5-star resort nearby, and believes in bringing this same level of service to all his guests at Sunrise. A very kind and genuine man, he lives and breathes the service industry and his passion and pride in his work is evident in all aspects of the business, and also reflected back in his staff, and the immaculately maintained guesthouse itself. The food was sensational, and every request was always met with a smile. It was my husband’s birthday while we were there, so Sunrise very kindly organised a beautiful dinner under the stars by the beach — a definite must do! In terms of the location, Bikini Beach is just a stone’s throw away (the initial reason we booked Sunrise over all the other accommodation options on Huraa).

Most friendly and helpful staffs I have ever met. The rooms are clean and provides you great hospitality. All respect for hotel Owner and Manager who does a great job here and will guide you through out your stay. Try the place with your loved ones.

Accommodation was great. All new and shiny. Every day room was cleaned a restocked. But that was nothing compared to friendly and proffesional treatment we received from the owner and his son. Treated as a royalty. Thank you again.
