A place to be! Robin and Mariela are great, really nice hosts! Cosy guest house, delicious food and a lot to do, Robin and Mariela always showed the best spots! :)

Amazing island, and economic place if you compare with the high price of the resorts around but, not a place for surfing beginners, even when was not my case, I got shocked when I saw people that never surfed before, going in to the water, with not any surf instructor, or any basic information about the waves when is a reef break.
If you don’t bring your surfboard not much offer of surfboards there.
Robin the Owner, asked me to say to the booking website that I was not there (in the resort) to avoid paying them the commission, thing that was really unprofessional.
For another hand they offered me the possibility to have surfing pictures and a surf guide, but after I arrived some days later Robin left with his wife back to brasil, so not anyone that could make pictures and we had a surf guide that did not know much more about the surf breaks as was new in the island, so not anyone trustable to feel safe in the water if something happened.
For another hand the new surf guide, Ralph even when he was new, was much more friendly, and always trying to help, and keep everyone happy, did not have the same feeling with Robin, when I asked for information about diving or any surfing tip.
I had the impression that he tried always to make us choose the private boat, from and to male, not offering much more information about the ferry, maybe was just my feeling.
