I recommend this Hotel, Yes its my first time in Maldives but the service, from the pick up point at the Airport upto the day we left is really amazing. The people are so polite kind and always greeting you and always smiling. The food is good also. Their service everytime we need something is really recommend they response fast than I expect. Faulty Towers — : 1) Got Overcharged, when asked for the receipt it was not avaible at the reception had to bring my own from the room just to prove it.
2) Asked for paid upgrade but was told that they are fully booked, However could book online.
3) Stayed there for 5 days However photographer kepting saying they have no time for a shoot.
4) Avian mineral water in room had dirt in it.
5) No Signboard (warning) or life guard near the Kakuni beach. One can easily float to India ocean because of high tide. We were kayaking n were caught in d wave. Got help from one of the staying guests instead of a life guard, who was actually absent. Could have easily landed up into the middle of the ocean. This was a threatening experience.
6) At Masala hut just got served like a prisoner. We were still eating starters and they left the main course at the table which got cold. This is not a 5 star standard.
7) Ruined my holidays, Asked for General managers email did not get untill now.

This year, after a long isolation, I am glad that we came to the Maldives in Sheraton Full moon resort &spa. Thank you for the wonderful experience! 28.01-06.02-our best days! The hotel is very nice and renovated. Our favorite room 315 will be kept next time. Your staff is extremely kind. We are extremely pleased from the level of food, special thanks to Riccardo Pinna and kind attitude.

Beautiful property. Amazing water villa experience for our first Anniversary. Exactly the needed privacy. And the decorations and wine from your side made it even better! The staff is really helpful at any moment. Enjoyed really with Marco the fire show guy and his salsa moves were cool too and Mohsin who decorated our dinner place really well. Overall it’s gonna be Sheraton whenever I visit next.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa. We had an awesome experience throughout our stay in the water bungalows with swimming pool. The rooms and food were great. And, the services were outstanding. But the nightly band entertainment was the special surprise for us as we were not aware of this prior to our arrival. This facility is simply beautiful and offers a lot of places for photography. There were many places to relax, take in the beautiful sunset, or do water sports, We booked one of the vow renewal packages, and Tatiana and her staff delivered on this within 48 hours of booking. The flowers were customized to my wife’s choice and were beautiful. The photographers were on point. The red velvet cake was delicious. And, we capped the night of with great private dinner and music. It was just a day to remember and I thank all the staff who helped and served us throughout our stay. I wish this location (about 18 hrs) is closer to the US as I would love to return soon. However, it was definitely worth the trip.

No word can describe how beautiful it is! I stayed there on May15-17, 2018 in water bungalow room. Everything was so good; location, room, staff service and also water activities. Speed boat pick up and drop off between hotel and airport was properly confirmed by hotel staff and also very warm greeting when we arrived. Breakfast and dinner buffet was delicious. On May16, my sister got seasick so, she couldn’t have dinner at the Feast restaurant open time. The manager (can’t remember his name) allowed my sister to take one plate of food and served it to the room. Not only him but also the staff who take care us to snorkeling. I’m really appreciated. Water bugalow room was very good with full facilities and good decoration. Breaskfast and dinner buffet was delicious. All staffs were kind and extremely support us. Great Resort, staff very friendly, a mix of Indian and Maldivian mostly, sometimes hard to understand but part of the experience. Rooms very nice with good selection of toiletries + mini bar + coffee & tea. Large wardrobes and plenty of drawers. Airconditiioning is a life saver as it is very warm 24/7. The option to call a buggy to get around is a great option. Tennis, table tennis, well equipped gym, beach volleyball, pool table, large pool, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis and lots more. 7 restaurants all prices in USD + 22% taxes which could get expensive so need to keep that in mind. All round great resort. Only 20 minute boat ride from Male' airport.

My husband and I had our honeymoon at this resort and it was the best holiday we have ever been on. Yes, it is pricey, but it is a once in a lifetime experience. We were upgraded to the best water bungalow with private pool and steps to the lagoon. We were offered free breakfasts and full use of the executive lounge. We were also given a honeymoon dinner and a dolphin sunset tour which was amazing. And the honeymoon dinner was incredible. I was 26-27 weeks pregnant and they were so accommodating and helpful. I was provided with some non alcoholic champagne to celebrate. The island is beautiful and all the staff are lovely. Food was amazing, staff amazing, our room was amazing — everything was amazing.

I can't say enough about this trip. It was the most AMAZING 8 days of our lives! The hospitality was the best and the views are heaven. Our hut on the ocean with a private pool was beautiful! Because we are Platinum, we were able to take advantage of the Sheraton Club which is key! The club was beautiful with astonishing views. We made so many friends in other travelers as well as staff. The snorkeling off of our deck was incredible. So many fish right in the front and back of our hut. It was such a peaceful honeymoon. The spa was beyond tranquil. I had the best massage of my life. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our honeymoon extra special. I will be sending a letter thanking some of the staff that we know by name and now call friends. See you all again soon. Next trip we are bringing friends!

My husband and I had the most wonderful time ever. We spend 6 full days at the resort in a water bungalow with pool. The room was fantastic with an amazing view. We had a full board package, which I highly recommended. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and also selected wines and beers was included. Because of the room type, we also had full access to the Sheraton Club, with a lot more privacy, breakfast, refreshments all day, a huge pool and cocktails every evening, and the staff that works there are very receptive. A huge thanks to Karina and Nafha from the private club. You girls are amazing!
Overall the resort is excellent, very clean and well maintained.

This stay was a dream come true. No detail was left to chance — everything was purposeful and magical. The hospitality of everyone was exceptional! I was greeted with a welcome drink in a coconut and had my suite upgraded. I couldn't go anywhere without being asked if I needed assistance or if there was anything they could do to make my stay enjoyable. I felt like I had gone to heaven. I can't wait to go again.

Just left for home and I must admit this is the best holiday I have ever had. The staff were fantastic, the food excellent, the weather superb. Anything you wanted, needed, required, you only had to ask. Nothing was too much for them. Special mention to Radha from Dubai I hope I spelt his name correctly says he has been there 2 months. Smiled like a Cheshire Cat Our cleaner was excellent. You go out leaving it looking like you had a party and came backto find it spotless.
I could go on boring you. So I won’t.

I was in Maldives for my honeymoon. The hotel have decorated my room as it was my honeymoon with flowers and candy’s. The complementary wine bottle was awesome. We reserved a water bungalow with personal pool and we enjoyed a lot. Amazing service, very friendly staff, warm and professional welcoming. The island is very beautiful. Over all very special thanks to the staff they made my stay more enjoying and relaxing. Thanks for everything. I’ll be back definitely for sure.

One of the too good island in Maldives. Best island for the Indians visiting Maldives as it also serves the good Indian food even it serves the Indian breakfast. Peaceful place. Best abt the island is it also have the watervillas which is the best experience to have in Maldives. Well trained staff and big island good ambiance. Having gym and sports activities also. It also have special activities for kids as well.

Very bin Resort Hotel. The price of meals is a bit expensive but you can really find everything you hope for a tropical holiday.

Great experience! Its only 15 mins boat ride from Velana International Airport. The hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The staffs are very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay. The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms to water sports to arranging romantic gateways. The food was great, they provide a wide range of variety. The near by areas of the water villas are good for snorkeling:) Few drawbacks — they don't have submarine ride. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend dis hotel to every couple and families:).

The facilities and rooms on Full Moon Island are already relatively old and less luxurious, and the bathtub has a layer of yellow scale, and as a platinum member, we are disappointed. Among them, the best feeling is the service person's anita, she knew we arrived late and had to leave early, driving buggy to pick us up to the lounge, we were also lucky to see the dolphin, thank you anita.

Pros: Location: So beautiful. The island is one of the best ones! Staff: The best staff I have ever experience. Kind, attentive, intuitive, helpful and genuine. Breakfast: The complementary breakfast was always a nice way to start the morning. Delicious selection! Cons: Price: The price of food is astronomical! All meals are between $30-100+. Easy meals such as chips and dip, pasta, pizza, fried rice, etc. All cost around $30+ for only about a cup of food and an 8 in pizza. The quality of food was also very disappointing. Most things were over cooked and reheated.

There were only a few hours yesterday in this lovely friendly hotel along the way from the much more expensive W of the same Starwood network where we spent 11 nights home. This is 15 minutes by boat from Malé. Prices in restaurants are 2 times lower than in W, though the quality of food is not worse, lots of vegetation and very friendly staff. I advise all who do not want to pay a few thousand dollars a day for a holiday in the Maldives. Decent hotel.

5 star hotel, totally justifies itself! Staff, rooms, kitchen, beach, entertainment, everything really enjoyed.

It is a superb resort with star class service and facilities. Food was lovely as well. This is expensive hotel and the extra meals and drinks cost a bit. But any way you choose a hotel in this caliber after checking the prices and all. It has a lovely little beach bar and spent most of the day time there. Something you have to cautious about is sting fish. When sting fish is around life guards will not let you to enter the water.

15 — 20 minutes from the airport by a boat. The staff is really nice which is important when you are spending a week on a single island resort. The food is delicious and offers a wide variety of food, different cuisines each day and a variety of vegetarian (for people who do). The place is a bit dead, most of the activities are snorkeling, SAP, and swimming. The hotel gives a free boat ride to see dolphins which is very nice. The view from the resort is beautiful. The diving center staff are very nice, yet the diving prices are very expensive. Overall — good.

One of the best resort in Maldives. It will take around 15 mins by boat to reach resort, from the airport. Rooms are good, perfect for honeymoon. They got safe in room, bathroom has tub, hair dryer, iron, bar and refreshments. 3 options are available for stay at this resort. Various restaurants are available, as per different tastes of guests. Breakfast is super delicious, with numerous options to eat. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. Resort has gym, spa, water sports and plenty other options. My stay was very memorable at this resort.

A gorgeous resort and quietly away from the mainland on a island. The Hotel management was ok and the Chef took extracare during our stay to provide authentic Indian Cuisine on request and to add the candle lit dinner at the beach.

I felt like I belong here from the moment I stepped onto the white sandy beaches and into the warm, clear waters of this tropical oasis. Staff are friendly and sincere in their wish and I had an unforgettable stay. This resort is located on North Male Atoll, and just a short speed boat ride from Velaanaa International Airport. Indulge in wide selections of culinary choices – be it Thai, Mediterranean, Grills or local seafood delicacies, four delightful restaurants offer something special to suit all tastes.

There is not much to do here as you are on a private island but the hotel does have a wide variety of water sports like diving, jetski, wake boarding, Para sailing, khaki (free), paddle board (free), snorkeling (free in lagoon), and more as well as daily excursions but they are all very expensive and probably 3-4 times what you would pay at other locations. There is a nightly activity at the bar such as a movie or live band and these are free. The views are spectacular and the diving is fantastic, the resort is well cared for and the staff is helpful and friendly. If you are not on an all inclusive package then the food can cost you 300-500 or more per day for 2 people if you eat 3 meals a day. We ate only one meal a day (we brought food) and shared most of the time but we were still close to $100 a day. The dinner buffet is $84 per person. This is a once in a lifetime experience for most people so save up and splurge on some of the activities while you are here. Not for the budget traveler or the adventurous traveler but if you want to relax this is a good place to do it.

The staff & service was excellent. But overall I felt the property was a bit scruffy and not up to the standard I was expecting. However, the main issue for me was the price of food — we had breakfast included in our room rate, so we knew we had to pay for everything else, but we were not expecting the price for the evening buffet to be $100 each. Maybe I should have done some homework first, but this took me completely by surprise. This resort island is a monopoly, so you can't opt out and go down to the local McDonald's. Maybe you can get a better deal if you include a meal plan when you book, but this really took the edge off the place for me.

The island resort offers visitors a fabulous Maldivian experience. They have four restaurants offering buffets, Thai, Seafood and Multi-Cuisine. The Anchorage bar has a great view where you can get a glimpse of the sunset and also see shark feeding in the evenings everyday. The staff is warms and always at your service to make your trip an experience you can cherish for life.

Spent part of our honeymoon at Sheraton Maldives and love every minute of it. The resort is beautiful, staff are amazing, and Maldives is just as awesome as you see in pictures! The only reason I'm giving this place a 4-star rating is their food. For the price you're charged, while the service is amazing, the food is just average. Also the proximity to the Male airport is a huge positive AND negative. You're only a 20 minute boat ride away from the airport, but you see and hear a lot of planes flying above the island. Overall, a solid stay in Maldive.

Everything is perfect just the island needs more entertainment. There is only one bar and no club at all. Also I do not recommend you to come here in July because it is mostly rainy, which makes you stay at your bungalow all the time.

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon is a place you must enjoy the stay at least once in a lifetime. Go to the bar where you will find a higher deck the it is the place you should stand after dark & take a 360 dig turn to find your self among the stars in the sky. WOW! We travelled as a coupleI and we loved this amazing place, although I wasn't impressed by the room or the hotel facilities, I must say the island is amazing. We didn't stay much in our beach cottage so it didn't matter… This is a short boat ride from Male airport and it took us a few hours to explore the island. Loved the beaches, the friendliness of staff and the nice seafood dishes. Food and drinks are expensive, 200 usd at least for dinner for two with fresh fish — not sure why since there's ocean all around — Yeah! — The bar is nice for sunset drinks, they have happy hour and also feed sharks there at about 6 pm, which makes for nice pics. The food at this bar is just frozen heated food. The beach bar is nice for burgers, fries, drinks, fresh coconuts… whatever you want! While tanning on the beach. There are bats flying over the island so that is a bit weird… You can see nice ocean creatures, birds and flowers on this island and generally the views are wow anywhere on it. Worth the trip and will go back soon for stay!

This place is heaven on earth. Went there for our honeymoon and stayed at an overwater bungalow. The views from the bungalow are spectacular. If you go there definitely spend a little extra money and stay in an overwater bungalow. You will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly as expected from a 5 star resort. The only down side is the food prices, but if you are spending so much money to go to this place then complaining about food just doesn't make sense. I would recommend this place for anyone planning to go there.

Currently staying here and finding the staff are rude. I had a price dispute on a service here. Two of us heard the lower price and when asked about it the manager became confrontational. Rather than be empowered to turn a bad situation good, which could have been done in a myriad of ways, she dug in and made it worse. I'm really jaded about the entire resort experience here now. This entire experience did not live up to what was advertised. Sheraton could learn a lot from the better brands.

The resort was very closed to Male and we did not need to travel the sea plane to go to this resort. It could save us some money! We stayed in a over-water bungalow and got direct access to the Indian Ocean.

I have the Ocean Villa room there are very expensive and nice the bed looks over the swimming pool and the ocean. One MAJOR downfall is that there is a lizard in my room it's always on a different spot and sometimes in the middle of the ceiling over the bed. I absolute cannot sleep. I've called the front desk to help remove this out of our room and when someone comes they just hit the wall and make it run into a corner and do not solve the problem. They promised it won't come again and after dinner we come to our room and it's RIGHT THERE BAM on the wall. The hotel services keep telling us they are harmless but I'd rather not wake up and see one in my face or in the shower, I'm very uncomfortable and always seem to be looking up and it has ruined my stay here. I asked to be moved to another room and they said we cannot guarantee that that room won't have any as well. Being so costly and far from the other huts on the island this is a major disappointment. 2 more nights and I'm out of there.
