Beyond amazing! Absolutely breathtaking location, luxurious villas with excellent mini bar and wine cooler, food was like fine dining, drinks and cocktails are perfect and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We had the best time here, memories for life.

The best holiday destination I've been to! The following are amazing; rooms, restaurants, food, staff, island, reef, flexibility, atmosphere, customer service. The little extras provided like GoPros, iPad with updated what's on, beech bag of beech games, all the staff knowing who you are and what you've booked, are just class. The informality makes everything so relaxing, I've not worn any footwear for 2 weeks! Superbatives are just too many to mention, we will be back! If you want bustling nightclubbing or children, don't come here and spoil the atmosphere.

Heaven does exist. My wife and I came here before we got married to get our tan on. We stayed for three wonderful nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Too bad my bank account just couldn't handle an entire week. Get the all inclusive package as we ate and drank our way to an extra 5 pounds. It is literally all you can eat and drink for the entire time that you're on the island. We stay in the over water pool villa and it was absolutely gorgeous. I will definitely return but this time I want to try the beach houses. The staff were all wonderful and the entire experience was a dream come true.

Beautiful, peaceful paradise with excellent staff and haute cuisine! We enjoyed every single minute. It's an island were you really have the opportunity to keep your love alive and recharge your battery fully. If you need entertainment and distraction it's definitely the wrong the place. If you are looking for beauty, peace and harmony go there. I would go back any time!

We had our honeymoon here. It was the most beautiful holiday so far! It's all perfect, the bungalows, the beach, the food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Kandolhu Maldives features 4 restaurants and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are air conditioned and offer wonderful ocean views. Spacious villa at Kandolhu features a flat-screen TV, an iPad, a Bluetooth speaker and a GoPro Hero5 camera. Private bathroom offers a shower, bathtub and hairdryer. 24-hour front desk, laundry service and a small boutique selling toiletries, postcards and souvenirs. Measuring just 200 m by 150 metres, this island has wide sandy beaches. The ocean has a colourful reef which is ideal for snorkelling. This resort is 70 km from Velana International Airport and can be reached by a 20 minute seaplane ride followed by 15 minutes on a speedboat.

Amazing ocean place to stay here. Very luxurious place and very expensive as well but can fetch you lots of happiness in life. The decor is excellent.

Visited this idyllic island in Jan 2018. It was my husbands birthday and we traveled all the way from Canada so we went all out! We stayed in the Ocean Pool Villa and it did not disappoint. Completely private and spacious, spectacular views, our own plunge pool and direct ocean/reef access right off the sundeck!
The food and service were impeccable, the entire service team worked seamlessly to provide such an indulgent and relaxing atmosphere.
From the moment we arrived till the final send off at the end, we have never felt more at ease. What a gem of a place!

This is why small is in. Or should be in any case. The staff are very friendly and genial, you can tell they are treated well here because they have that spirit, striking up easy conversation, finding out stiff you like to do, making recommendations. They don't have a hundred guests to attend to so you really are their priority. If you need something, it appears within minutes. The rooms are great, I had a duplex villa, decked out in neutral colours, a plunge pool, huge TV, an iPad, complimentary Gopro. Also a wine fridge with thirty bottles, all free of you're all inclusive, as are the minibar items. Seriously amazing. And the food, for thirty villas they have five outlets with tons of variety. From Mediterranean to Japanese to Indian. This joint is not burning out anytime soon, you can bet your caboose.

Absolutely breathtaking location and impeccable service. Everything about Kandolhu exceeded our expectations. The staff are very friendly and professional and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. The food is some of the best we've ever eaten, full of flavor and very unique. Big thanks to the management Marc and Laura for making our honeymoon extra special. Will definitely be returning!

Very good hotel but upgradeable aspects.
It is a quality hotel on a beautiful island, but in relation quality price you should improve a number of important aspects.
The employees are friendly and helpful, but they have to be aware that they are in a luxury hotel, they should take better care of the details.
The maintenance of the rooms also leaves you wanting in some respects.
The all inclusive definitely worth it and the meals are excellent.
One big mistake they make is the waiting stay at the Maldives airport to catch the seaplane, while other hotels of the same price have lounge areas up to the level this hotel does not have them, and on the way back when you leave the hotel does not even have it included Gives.
The coral is beautiful and as we have not seen others from Maldives I cannot compared it.
Eye with the rooms that have no pool, because the hotel does not have communal pool.
We would not go back unless you improve these aspects as for the same price you can find better things.

Great place on this this tiny island.
Stayed 8 days was perfect to enjoyed the island and all the activities : diving, snorkeling (half day with private boat)
The reef is perfect to discover the Marine life close to the rooms!
Staff (house, restaurants, reception, diving, spa, …) was wonderful, during this week, nothing to think, everybody take care of us ;) 5* for high cocking level, diversificated and gourmet menu also.
Ocean pool villa are amazing with plunge pool and ocean with, enjoy morning sunrise and sunset from room, pool and see…
One advice … go here and take time to spend your time close to marine life and "art de vivre"

Can´t say anything negative about Kandolhu. Without exception, all services are simply perfect. Everything has been planned to the last detail to meet the requirements of even the most demanding guests. A large amount of activities is offered to make you stay even more special. The tiny island, furtheremore, stands out for the quality of the reef. Such an amazing experience snorkelling in the area. Impressive food in any of the four restaurants exceeding our initial expectations. Congratulations to the young french Chef who has reciently been awarded! Just arrived in Spain and looking forward coming back soon!

Overall, this was an amazing experience to the point that I'm having a hard time readjusting to "the real world" following our return. My wife and I stayed in one of the ocean villas (sans pool) during a recent four day/five night visit to Kandolhu, and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is interested in visiting the Maldives. Hell, I'll recommend it to people who aren't interested in visiting the Maldives. The entire island (including facilities, landscaping, and rooms) is extremely clean, rather contemporary, and operates with a primary focus on customer service while appearing to do so quite efficiently. The staff is amazing including: Mark & Laura (who manage the island), Aisha & Malcom (in the dive center), the aquatic sports team, the restaurant/food service staff, the room service staff, and the nearly invisible army of people who keep the island humming so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay in one of the most remote and beautiful places on this planet. The major attractions (in my opinion) are the beaches and the reef. This includes snorkeling and diving on the house reef or just relaxing on the peaceful and uncrowded beaches. If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, try a couple of hours sailing on their 16ft catamaran. In addition to the accommodations and activities, the food was very good and the drink prices amazingly reasonable (especially given that you’re in the middle of the Indian Ocean).

Luxury small private island resort with superb food and great wine selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for higher end visitor.

This tiny island has SO much to offer. If you're looking for the secluded private island feel but with the attention of incredible staff at your service at anytime — this is your perfect destination!

Great island, Great food (only Alla Garde), Great staff, Great reef is great for snorkeling. For me, a dream on earth! Any time again. From Arriving to Departing, you just feel welcome. And can properly shutdown. Super Super Super. Thank you to all the staff. Happy again.

Hotel total The island is the perfect Paradise for vacation lovers. Service & Staff The staff at Kandolhu is simply extraordinary. This starts at the airport on the feeder vessel further and includes the whole island. Kindness is one thing, but great unobtrusive Service on an equal footing and are individually adapted to the respective guests, is not easy. Here it is done and you always feel very comfortable. Especially the managers in the Bar and in the restaurant are exceptional. There is a each desire from the eyes to read, and any dissatisfaction will be recorded and immediately rectified. Food & Drink We were already in many first class Hotels and on the ships of the TUI Cruises fleet, where everywhere is mostly very good food. What we here about ten days at the quality and taste of offered get, we have as yet not experienced. This was really awesome. The absolute highlight of this island is probably the great deal of various small à la carte Restaurants with all inclusive included. All are very beautiful directly at the beach. The Japanese Restaurant is the only one where you can make advance reservations a must, but it is also included. The Sushi and the offered Show there is one of the Highlights of the holiday. Condition & facilities of the hotel The entire island is super designed. Buildings add a great in the nature and everything is in top-notch condition. Everything is modern and yet still very suitable for the environment.
