Amazing resort, the food is amazing, the most friendliest and greatest staff ever encountered. Only just arrived home and looking to go back.

The staff here are the friendliest I've ever encountered. Nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile and wish you a good day. The resort itself is amazing and very relaxing/peaceful. No loud music every night which suits me fine. The food is all very good, which means I'll need to do something about weight when I get home!

Maafushivaru is absolutely stunning. Every area of the resort is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The food is excellent, fresh and has flavour and spice! The vibe is chill yet elegant. The service is attentive and very friendly. Wish it had a bit more of a nightlife but everything else makes up for it!

Finally made it to Maldives. We can’t say enough positive things about this resort. From the time we landed in Male to our entire stay. The staff and hotel are nothing short of amazing. They are on top of your entire stay. From flight arrival to departure. The food is so wonderful and last but not least pictures and videos do not do this place justice. Breathtakingly Beautiful! Absolutely exquisite resort! Equally good for couples and families. Greatest and most friendly staff. It’s a quite new resort but without any ‘rookie flaws’. Small island but not in a bad way at all. Variety and quality of the food is absolutely outstanding (you should definitely choose the Dine All Around package). AND we came to see whalesharks and mantarays — and so we did. What an amazing experience! Can’t recommend this place enough. 5 star quality and service at the price of a 4-4.5 star resort.

Excellent Authentic Hospitality Service by Heart.

This place is paradise. We spent 10 incredible days here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The staff was so nice — nothing like we have ever seen here in the US. We had a water pool villa where we were able to spend time soaking up the sun just myself and my new husband. The food there is unreal. We have never had consistently amazing food anywhere before. Even though it was over 24 hours of travel for us to get there… we would be back in a heartbeat. We truly hope that we will make it back there one day. Thank you Maafushivaru! ❤️

The whole island is a gem! 💎 Rich underwater world with sharks, turtles and thousands of species of fish and corals, beautiful villas on the ocean, great activities in and outside of the water, wide variety of delicious food and a charming place to relax. The resort is fantastic, beautiful, modern and sophisticated. The villas are refined and luxurious. The atoll where the island is located is very beautiful, with warm water and incredible color. The marine life is very beautiful, with many corals, fish and small sharks. The team is very competent, friendly and professional. I miss you a lot, I spent moments that I will not forget in this resort that is a dream ❤🏝

Fantastic! Awesome! Superb! Excellent! Beyond words to say! There is such a real paradise, everything was excellent, beautiful views and turquoise sea. Fantastic private beach, peaceful and cozy around. The island was picturesque with clean well kept facilities. There were plenty of space.
The most impressive is Excellent services! all staffs were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended :)

The recently refurbished island is just beautiful. A great selection of beach villas, beach villas with pool, 2 bedroom duplex villas, water villas and water villas with pool.
We are in a water villa with pool and it’s just stunning. The room is large with everything you could need from tooth brushes and a shaving kit, up to wine by the bottle and a fridge with soft drinks beers and treats in.
There is some lovely reef here along with a good range of baby sharks and fish a plenty. There and the most amazing giant clams!
The tours are also amazing from the snorkel safari, manta point and my main reason for coming here… the whale shark safari which ticked my last dream fish to see on my list!
With the island having opened up during the covid pandemic, they are only about 70% of where they would like to be, the Christmas decorations for example are stuck on a container on their way, so may not be up by the time we leave in a couple of days
But that’s my only thing to be sad about, and it’s certainly not the islands fault. From the food, drinks, staff and service we cannot fault this beautiful island
We also want to thank everyone for bringing 2020 to a nice end for us, because it was a pretty awful year otherwise ❤️

We spent an amazing week at Maafushivaru,
So sad to leave. We loved our Water Villa, wake up in the morning and dive into the turquoise water was my dream come true The staff has been wonderful, they made our stay! Special thanks to Ranjith, the F&B Manager, who spoiled us in any possible way, and Chef Bandara, always there, and the food was excellent, we will miss the Currys❤️. Thanks to all the staff (can’t remember all the names) really! Didn’t leave yet, but can’t wait to come back.

We spent the most amazing week here for our honeymoon. The resort is small and relaxed with wonderful friendly staff. We were sad to leave and hope to come back some day.

We recently returned from our honeymoon and we had an amazing time. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure everyone had a lovely and relaxing time. Lots of food choices everyday. It truly was paradise and definitely will be returning to this amazing place again one day. Thank You for making our honeymoon perfect in every single way.

Just got back from a 6 days vacation in Maldives. I loved every minute that I was staying at the Maafushivaru resort. I stayed in the water villa and it was such an amazing experience!
It was heaven on earth and I didn't want to leave. I went on the whale shark and manta ray snorkeling tour and was blessed enough to swim with them!
This was an experience I will never forget.
Snorkeled around the island and also at Lobuno (i think that's it's name). It was truly fantastic. I got to meet the resident turtle at the jetty while I was snorkeling and many of the reef sharks.
I highly recommend this place! What a wonderful experience this has been!

Everything here is just perfect … like heaven. I'm from Greece so I'm familiar with the most beatiful beaches in the world… I repeat. This is heaven!

A lovely, quiet place, good food, very friendly hotel staff, some coral reefs and a very beautiful sea fauna.

Some days wonderful, making snorkeling and enjoying of the tranquility of the place.

Atoll paradise, highly recommended if you like diving or snorkeling trips. Located on south ari, ideal location to watch the whale sharks.

Nice island, no children.
You need to know to deal with but because it will otherwise quickly dull. House reef directly to reach. Daily excursions are offered.
Beach is typical Maldives snow-white.
Service is more than sufficient.

A wonderful island. Lovely staff. You would have to be pretty messed up not to enjoy the sun sea sand snorkeling on the coral reef and outdoor showers. Go before its gone — The maldives are only 3M above sea level so whatever you do dont take a jet plane from Europe — like wot I did!
