Rivertel

I frequently travel to Teluk Intan and have stayed at several hotels in the area, including Anson Hotel and Grand Court Hotel. I had looked forward to staying at Rivertel because it appears to have a different image and higher standard compared to many other hotels in Teluk Intan. The hotel also often seems fully booked whenever I plan my trips, which gave me the impression that it would offer a better overall experience.
In terms of cleanliness, the hotel met expectations and was reasonably well maintained. My check-in experience was also smooth. However, my experience during check-out was disappointing due to the attitude of one chinese guy staff (you dont always see a chinese guy working at reception in a small town area) member at the reception, who came across as rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, that interaction significantly affected my overall impression of the stay.
As someone who regularly stays in Teluk Intan, I was surprised by this experience because I have generally encountered more courteous service at other local hotels. Parking arrangements were also only average, with charges imposed for certain front parking spaces, which felt unnecessary in a smaller town setting.
I had expected this hotel to become one of my preferred places to stay whenever visiting Teluk Intan, but based on this experience, particularly the poor service during check-out, I am unlikely to return.

We booked Rivetel for May trip. The hotel was nice, comfortable, and clean. The sink water flow was a bit slow, but overall everything was okay. We were happy because the room was spacious and affordable.
The hotel also sells souvenirs, which we really liked since we are collectors. However, the receptionist was not very welcoming. The Chinese man at the counter responded quite rudely. Because of the attitude, I can only give your hotel 3 stars. Please welcome guests who pay to stay at your hotel with a smile and kind words.
This was our first time staying here, and honestly, we will think twice before coming again next time.

I booked for my relative. Unfortunately one of the booking dates cannot make it. I filled up service request form and submitted to management. The form was prccessed and full refund obtained within 7 days. Note. The refund was possible because it was more than 14 days away. If within 14 days the policy is different. Room is excellent for teluk intan standard. The newest hotel in teluk intan.

Great Value, Clean Rooms, and a Tip for Booking!
I had a wonderful stay at Rivertel Teluk Intan. If you are looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay in town, I highly recommend this hotel.
Pro-Tip on Booking:
When I checked online booking apps, the rooms for 2 were showing as fully booked. However, I decided to walk in and check directly at the counter. The rooms were still available, and the walk-in price was actually cheaper than the online rates! It's definitely worth checking with them directly if the apps say they are full.
The Room:
The room was spacious enough for two people and very clean. The housekeeping standards are high, which made the stay very comfortable. I had a really good night's rest as the environment was quiet and the bed was cozy.
Breakfast & Value:
The stay included breakfast, which was tasty and a great start to the day. For the price paid, this hotel is excellent value for money.
Overall:
Clean, affordable, and great service. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Teluk Intan!

Rivertel offers a fantastic stay with arguably the best location for exploring Teluk Intan. The ample parking space is a huge plus, ensuring a hassle-free arrival. Inside, the rooms are full of amenities, and the excellent toilets are impressively clean and modern. I also appreciated the fast service from the efficient staff. While it’s nearly perfect, a bit more soundproofing would make it a solid five. Still, a highly recommended, high-quality choice!

Bad experience, when you request for help. No one is there to assist, staff all choose to ignore and anything you ask them don't know. No manager to assist, bad service. Staff just trying to push all issues to booking platform. Worst experience. Not reliable and not responsible. Please think twice when you book with this hotel!

Comfortable and spacious. Clean and well maintained. New and all facilities in the room were working well. However, the water pressure at time fluctuated. Overall it is a pleasant and comfy stay.

Very disappointed with the service at this hotel.
I arrived with my two young daughters and was not offered any help carrying the suitcases downstairs. We were told that “there were no employees in charge of that. ”
On another day, I tried to order lunch and was told that “the cook was resting” and would only be available an hour later.
Additionally, at 2:00 pm, when we returned so our children could take a nap, our room had still not been cleaned. We also had no toilet paper.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience. There are no amenities, no pool, and no proper space to eat.

The rate for this 3-star hotel is quite steep, especially with breakfast not included. The amenities don't justify the price either. The management needs to either adjust the pricing to match the services offered or improve the quality to align with what we're paying.

I am telling how I really get and feel after I spent rm 340 (without tax) after my cuti cuti Malaysia for the past 9 months in this Teluk Intan hotel. This is what I get but depend of personal experience la, no offence to anyone or any parties.

The hotel facilities felt substandard. The chairs were made of flimsy materials and lacked proper support. The shower head provided weak and uneven water flow, water is spraying out all the way. While the shower curtain was thin and stuck to the body easily. The air-conditioning unit was clearly not powerful enough to keep the room cool, especially during hotter hours. Overall, although the amenities were in place, the poor quality of materials and lack of durability made the stay less comfortable.

The room is big and clean, and the bed is really comfortable. The shower has bright white lights, which are great for doing makeup. A lot of hotels use warm lights, and that makes it hard to put on makeup. The hair dryer is 1600W, so it’s really nice for drying my hair.

This was my 4th hotel for this week trip and it is really hit my expectations. I booked a super compact room but the space is just nice for solo traveler. The bed, the pillows are all super soft and comfy. Surely will come back if I return to Teluk Intan.

Nice and clean hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is functional. Kettle, slippers and dental kits are in room. There's no swimming pool and no buffet breakfast. Near to Lotus but need car to clock tower.

Nice hotel with pleasant, professional and friendly staff including the check in receptionists and bar tenders.
Room for improvement: Need to have a proper restaurant/café for guests to have meals.
