The main entrance only has Mysejahtera check in. There was no temperature checking, which only available at receptionist. there was smell the moment I enter. R My room has no toilet paper and the shower room was dirty with water stain. Basin was dirty. There was no daily room cleaning unless you request. When I request for room cleaning, the cleaner came in without mask! Location wise is strategic and convenient. There are many restaurants surrounding with many varieties.

I've stayed in Summertree Hotel Penang on 14/5/22 and I have concluded that this is the worst experience ever for a seasoned traveler. Although it's this is not a 5 star hotel, and the room rates are not considered expensive, I would avoid to stay in this hotel again for the following reason Receptionist: Nazz Manager: Sharul 1) Requested for an extra blanker for my wife who is pregnant. The reply I got was:"our blankets in this hotel is ngam ngam only". Blunt and non empathetic from the front desk. 2) We experienced a black out at about 9.30pm. We had just returned back to our rooms, looking forward to a good shower and rest after a long day but ended up showering in the dark. Was upset and frustrated but was denied a refund and the opportunity to talk to the manager. There was no effort to console the customer and we were expected to just accept whatever unfortunate encounter that landed on us. Demanded to speak to the manager, but was refused by the front desk. 3) Non functioning TV in the room. Lazy to argue with them after what had happened. It's not about the money but the experience and non empathetic treatment by the front desk. Denied a refund and ended up showering in the dark until the electricity came back.
