Just Inn Hotel

Our previous plan was to stay just 2 nights, but we stayed 8 nights in total. We travel a lot but we have never met such a kind, friendly and helpful host before we met Jackie! highly recommended place to stay in Penang, you will feel as home. Plus the great location nearby main bus station and street food.

Good emplacement for visiting the town Friendly staff but basic accommodations. You pay for what you get.

Backpacker's hotel, clean enough and near to some attraction places with walking distances.

I stayed 4 nights at Just Inn and it was amazing! Very well located and very clean! The staff is amazing. I've been in Malaysia for 3 weeks so far and this is the best place I've stayed in the country! I really recommend it! Just Inn is also perfectly located — close to street market during the day, street food at night, Mall and Penang street art! Joseph.

İt's not perfect but satisfy for stay here for 2-3 days… Near to city center and major bus station. İt is accessible for restaurants and bars by walking within just 5 min.

Everything else is ok and acceptable but BED BUGS not! Room was full of them, luckily didn't get bitten but others did. Otherwise location is good and staff are helpful.

My stay at this hostel was most enjoyable. It's a very clean place, the rooms are big and the air conditioner works fine.
The bathrooms are enough for everything in the world, I never had to wait to use them, in addition to having soap for showering and hot water.
It also has a water machine, cold to fill your bottle as many times as you want and hot to take Caffe, tea or noodels.
The staff is very polite and collaborative, we had a little problem with the booking and they sorted it out right away, also provided us with a map and good information about sites of interest, tourist attractions and where to find good and cheap food.
The Wi-Fi during the day was very fluid, at night when connecting everything in the world it goes worse.
Highly recommended for backpackers and passing people. I would definitely repeat it.

The girl at the front desk is super friendly, helped us with a problem we had with Booking. Besides we explained DND was all over and the most important points like the night food markets and the graffiti on the walls. The place is nice, we stayed in a double room with air conditioning, nothing from the other world but by the. Price we paid I expected something much worse. There is always water available for guests and it is cold. The showers shared with hot water in general all fairly clean.

Very good location: near the main tourist attractions: the historic center of the city, Komtar, the market. From the ferry you can walk in 20 minutes or take the free Hop on/Hop off bus. Low price, the cost of the room at the reception is roughly equal to the price in the booking systems. Guests are given a map of the city. Clean, nice staff. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets. The Wi-Fi is OK. There are utensils, a cooler. In comparison with last year there is a deterioration: free coffee, tea, sugar have disappeared. The rooms are small, cramped.

We learned the morning after our first night that the blankets are not washed after guests use them & check out. Instead the used blankets are refolded & placed back on the bed for new arriving guests. Was told blankets are washed only after several months of use by many different guests. Unhygienic. Old, worn bed mattress and pillow extremely uncomfortable and in very bad condition. Wifi very slow, disconnected often, unreliable. Signs posted prohibiting downloading large files, videos, audios, photos but hotel employees watch movies continually. Food and beverage prohibited in the room. Female receptionist was impolite, ignorant, unprofessional.

Good location and the host is nice. Clean and quiet roomb.

Too bad the room that I am staying in, Air-condition was warm in the afternoon. Temperature was at 24 only. Controller kept by the reception can't give. No fan in rooms. Outside are well clean and maintained. Rooms was quite smelly and as seems that the bed sheets and pillow cases are not changed after guests leave. Front desk very rude when talk. Only helpful to tell you (upon arrival) where you to go and where us their hotel (Inn). Price on line booking has the same rate as walk-in, so don't go on line booking.

Nice rooms. Just enough space for a person or two to sleep. If you are looking for luxury then this is not for you. Youth hostel like concept, shared bathroom and lots of people from various countries with whom you can interact.

AC too cold in dorm. People got sick because AC too cold. Female receptionist refused to adjust AC temperature setting. Made our night unpleasantly cold even with 2 blankets. Good place to stay, common clean restroom, lots of backpackers (good for socialist), car park easily available at night.

Simple and cheap place with good location about 15 minutes walk from the ferry. There are some good food stalls nearby and a food night market which is a little expensive. This place caters mostly for backpackers but there are some family rooms as well. AC was too cold for me, there's filtered water, slow Wi-Fi, friendly manager, kitchen facilities but there's no vibe. But it's cheap.

Great hostel! very very clean, and quiet. Nice place If you're looking to relax in a calm atmosphere. Not so much a place to hang or and meet others, but wonderful stay nonetheless! would highly recommend it!

Very clean and bright white wall finishing. I was here 3 nights, I witnessed the cleaner (a young lady) whenever I exit my door to bathroom or out of Just Inn, she I s always busy wiping n sweeping dust and clearing bins and floors all by herself. Hardworking n obedient to her duties. I might consider to re-check again. The bath area was adequate, shampoo n sachet detergent provided, also rubber slippers for bath more than enough. My rating is: ☺SMILE for Just Inn.

Clean and neat place. Simple rooms but spacious and comfy, may be just a bit hot without a/c but no complaints for the money you pay. Hot and cold drinking water machine. Hot showers. Owner provides superb service and info, always happy to help. Very recommended. Love places run by professional people.

5days stay in Just Inn. Neat and clean. I'd booked from Booking, it was the first place recommend me to stay. The staff was so kind, he discounted the price to let me stay 2more nights. I will recommend this place to my friends for sure!

Really good place, like to be in home. Thanks to Tay, member of the crew, he explained really good what to do in Penang. Highly recommended place if you want to save money. I will repeat.
