We had wonderful 3 nights stay at Lagoon Deluxe. Everything was spectacular. Check in and check put were smooth. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come again. ❤️

A little bit late check in time, went at 3pm but room cleaning not ready. But the staff was very friendly, give us cafe voucher for the waiting time. And also upgrade our room.

All the staffs; from the security check point, the bartenders, the service staffs and the housekeeping staffs were awesome. They were all well equipped with great customer service skills and were enthusiastic about what they do. Special thanks to out to Darwin and Razi who were at the bar. They were very friendly, and made us felt very welcome and comfortable. The margaritas that Darwin made were truly yummy 😀

Great place to relax with your kids. Great pool and friendly employees. Just a bit on the expensive side compared to other hotels, but we'll worth it.

The food we ordered in Hard Rock Cafe was underwhelming. Messi Burger was so small, the fish and chip has no salt, and the drinks were tasteless 😩 4/10 for this experience.

Amazing stay. Almost perfect stay. Arrived 430pm and spent 10mins to check in. Manage to combine all 4 breakfasts in one day instead of 2 breakfasts for 2 days. Room cleanliness is the best among hotel that I stayed. Cozy and comfort room. Just the shower water pressure can be better. Huge splash pool and outdoor pool. Breakfast is good although variety can be improved. But taste wise is good. Many facilities available and just walk to beach nearby.

The staff is so friendly, and helping us for checkin because we arrived late to checkin at the hotel and it was like allreqdy 1am. Room service is superb, the food and the pool, nice view and setup. It was PERFECT for my big family. Thanks you so much, we will come to this hotel again next time.

Amazing and the best pool daughter love it.

So far one of the lousy buffet dinner. Nothing special. A welfare/ jail style that just queue up and they serve you and with VERY limited choices. Seafood not fresh and most of the items are frozen stuffs. Services worst then normal hotel. Few Chinese ladies just chatting in group and not even bother to refill the drink even when asked them for assistance. Table and chair so dusty! Very surprisingly! For sure the value not worth for the money! Services: 2/10 Choices: 2/10 Quality: 2/10 Environment: 5/10 Cleanliness: 4/10 Worth of money: 1/10

Great hotel to stay for family. The hotel provide hygiene care pack for each members in family. The nasi lemak bungkus during buffet breakfast is the best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. 1 night not enough. Will definitely come back.

Room of improvements: Water flow at the slides. Even a small kids couldn't slides till the end and only one water canon fully function.

I loved my room decorations. The view from my room was amazing too because its facing the sea and we can walk to the beach for a few minutes only. It's so cozy and i'm so satisfied with the room and toilet cleanliness. That Elvis picture in my room toilet was a rock! I loved everything about Hard Rock Hotel and I definitely will come back to Hard Rock. Thanks for making my short vacations such a beautiful moments to remembered.

I enjoyed the buffet! Great selection of food! Avoided the oysters though. Staff were very happy to accommodate a vegan member of our party.

It seems much bigger than the inenet. There are a lot of people, the rooms are small.

One of the best hard rock cafe and hard rock hotel ever. The cafe was well design and the food was awesome, also the staff was very helpful too. For the hotel, staff was helpful but the most awesome part its the swimming pool. Its a freaking theme park not you average swimming pool. Enjoy.

My son and I are currently enjoying an eight night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, Penang. I would highly recommend future guests booking Rock Royalty with access to the executive lounge. The lounge located on the sixth floor is awesome: from the personalised check in to the very friendly and helpful staff who are very attentive. A special thank you to Belle and Selena for always finding time to chat to my son. Well done Hard Rock Penang for living up to our expectations! We will definitely be back!

The variety of food is so bad. The place is filled with flies and my mum saw small cockroaches crawling around the floor. I do hope I won't have food poisoning after this. After having dinner in Hard Rock Hotel today, there is only one thing I can be sure of that is I'll never be having dinner or recommending this place to anyone else. I'll might also discourage them from visiting this place.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed in. Room was large with a sitting area with a couch. The room was very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. They even gave us welcome drink The lobby was nice and clean. Breakfast area was large. There were several kitchen staff members constantly monitoring the breakfast items. There was plenty for everyone, idzwan room service was good. Room 222

Awesome place. Good food. Good service. Clean and beautiful room. We had a children's room. Which was well equipped as per the requirement of the kids. As in the soft toys to the PSP, to the books in the room. Wow experience.

I can’t imagine it’s only 2 bite of pizza and I got food poisoning as well. Me and my husband were sharing a piece of pizza which ordered by my friend. And both of us suffered in pain whole day after the meals. We couldn’t stand for the pain and force to take injection in emergency clinic late at night. This cause us couldn’t really enjoy ourself in our next destination. I hope you can investigate this issues which cause 6 of us fell into same situAtion which is diarrhae and vomiting. We quite disappointed with this services.

A damn bad trip for us!
Me and my friends checked out today. While waiting my others friends, 6 of us who got food poison were sitting on the bar reception. The place where we return the room key.
We were hungry and order with the waiter to get some food which are pizza and mushroom soup. Several hours after the meal, my friends and I all fell severely ill. We went to the different emergency room because we were departing different place separately after check out. The same symptoms from us which got from our doctor are food poisoning. The only food we ate together today was at your establishment.
I request you to kindly investigate and take action against the staff on duty for today. And also the one who serve us is impolite as well.
We paid RM90+ and get this result is kind of dissatisfied.

Great places, there is hard rock cafe and hard rock hotel. My first impression in Hard Rock Cafe is amazing. Great services, friendly staff. Good food. Higly recommended.

Though we checked in sunday, but the Q at counter as if it is Friday or Saturday. Came at 3pm but room is not ready, potong a bit but we are kept occupied with buffet tea so we are okay got to our room half an hour after that. And by then it is rocking awesome. Oh but need to do something on parking space. We came back at 10pm need to park at the end where it was very dark, as we are with small children it sooo need not to explain more right. The 5* are for your ambience & staffs.

Live band nice atmosphere. Was unpleasant to see some smoking inside as I think it was soaking free zone. Food was delicious. Staff are so cooperative and so friendly. Enjoyed that night there.

Recommended… Especially the restaurants of the front.

The swimming pool is awesome. Very enjoyable with kid. Car park security is tight and feeling secure parking whole night there. Room is clean and tidy. But the sound proof could be better because I can hear the music even with the windows closes tight.

Had a lovely dinner at hard rock. Quiet, cost atmosphere. But we we early on a week night and the music hadn't started. Good food. Nice wine selection.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds. All kinds of music in the whole hotel. Even at the huge pool you hear the whole day of hot music.
Opposite the hotel exit a small shop (for cheap drinks), besides a "massage parlour" not recommended. Then a small restaurant with excellent dishes of all kinds and is very convenient.

Adults and children can enter, consumption words for well-to-do family, a little high Bai! The person who has not been to, is also worth walking back … In the evening, a rock n roll … It's worth a visit.

This hotel rocks. As the name implied, this hotel is cool with lots of facilities and warm reception staffs. Hard Rock Hotel Penang was officially open in September 2009. This is the first Hard Rock Hotel resort in Penang Malaysia, situated along the beaches of Batu Ferringhi, Penang. This is a six storey hotel with 250 guest rooms ranging from deluxe rooms to Roxity Kids Suite. This hotel has facilities catering for family with young children.

Lovely hotel and the staff cannot do enough for you. We stayed on the 6th floor and went for the rock royalty package which was worth every penny. The rock lounge was also a lovely touch where we had our breakfast each morning, afternoon tea and free cocktails from 6-7pm a couple of times. Our experience was enjoyed even more due to the welcoming hospitality that was provided mainly by Mark who was part of the rock royalty team. He couldn't of done more for us so thank you very much Mark! you are a top man.

It was amazing to spend a few days here to start the year. Surprisingly it had great options for families and kids to have a great time too. Right on the beach, amazing swimming pool for those who prefer to dip in fresh water, nice breakfast, friendly staff… Non breakfast menu not so good, but there are loads of great eating placed next door!

Buffet Lunch We had a great experience at the special Christmas Day buffet. So much food, excellent choices… And we ate far too much. RM 98 was a very good price for all we had. Would definitely book a special occasion here again.

Located far outside of Georgetown. In close proximity not much going on but there is a shuttle bus.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hard Rock at Penang. Rooms were presented well — funky lighting and a nice divider in the family room to keep the kids separate. Staff were very helpful, great pool and surrounding facilities.

One of the friendliest hotels I’ve visited. Awesome family facilities too. Only down part is there’s not a lot of (good) eateries nearby appart of what’s on offer in the hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the despacito despacito music they were playing otherwise the staffs the place was really good and classy! I think hard rock cafe should be more in to rock and roll… but that's just my personal view I do know that everyone won't be the same like me so obvious they have to fit to the everyday crowd they have… otherwise this is really a good place to hang out.

Only went to the restaurant as we were staying at the hotel next door, but the restaurant was great! Food was delicious, the staff very friendly, and overall very clean. They had an issue with our credit cards not working, and they managed to fix their machine with many apologies and small token of gratitude. Could've been a frustrating situation but they handled it the best they could. Thank you!

Great for families with kids. Got the kids suite and they had their own room. The highlight for them was the pool. They had their own activity packs in the room with books and soft toys. Will definitely be back!

Quite a small venue, but a great atmosphere. The food is typical grill dishes, but they were tasty, large and fairly reasonable. The customer service was excellent and they catered well for for our two young children.

Had the Roxity kids suite. Was really great for kids. Teddies and stories included in the separate kids room (sleeps 2, comfortably). My daughter loved it! Pool area very kid friendly also. Will stay again.

Having 4D3N in this hotel and my overall experiences are great. Staffs are friendly and room is clean. Most of the facilities are well maintain. Very well! Just remember you are expertise in hospitality industry and keep it up!

Great place for family vacation. My kids love the pool and the kids club. And my teenage kids love the teen club very much. Take a 101 or 102 rapid bus or pay more for hop on hop off bus from the bus stop exactly in front of the hotel and it will bring u to all great places in penang. Will surely coming back here if I visited penang.

An excellent hotel with excellent staff who never once failed to provide me with the kind of service that makes me feel like a rock star. This includes the staff from their spa, restaurants and shops. Everyone works together to make you feel welcomed and important. Words cannot express how excellent this place is. Having just returned from the Hard Rock Hotel, I can't rate it enough! The staff are excellent, always smiling and always helpful. We had a room that led straight out into the pool which is spacious and clean. The breakfast is extensive with Western and Eastern food and was always high quality. Good live music in the evening, don't wait book t now :-)

Pros Check in experience — Good. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Hotel room — spacious, clean and excellent sea and pool view. Facilities — pool was excellent and cozy gym. Restaurant — Hard Rock Café ambience was good and food was up to par. Rock Shop — nice ambience and very welcoming Cons Wi-Fi was extremely slow D/L speed was less than 1MBps Called reception and was given excuse that slowness was due to full occupancy. Housekeeping did not do a good job as coffee/tea were not refreshed and balcony area was not cleaned up. Restaurant — Tried ordering takeaway café latte but was refused. Reason — no takeaway cups. Coffee at lobby lounge was not up to par. Rock Shop — not much variety for kids (5 years) and ladies wear. Overall, ok experience but expected more for the premium price we paid.

I love this place I use to live in Malaysia and my family love staying there it is the best place in the world.

We stayed at the Hard Rock the week before Xmas the moved hotels over Xmas and New Years due to the very high increase in price but really enjoyed our time. Yes the room was slightly noisy but hence the name. The pool and cabana's were fantastic and the staff that ran the afternoon games poolside made it really enjoyable.

I like the mini water theme park best. It is a blast for kids and adults as well. The swimming pool is also great for older kids and adults. The beach is clean, the water sports are great. I found the whole package, I. E. The hotel, the people, the entertainment and the facilities surrounding the hotel fantastic! Will definitely return.
