One of the best host Ive ever met. Both husband and wife are the owner of the resort are both retired Naval Officers. So you can expect a naval treatment.

My one-night stay at Captain's Cabin Resort was nothing short of delightful! From the moment I arrived, the host’s warm hospitality made me feel right at home.

Near airport.

■Desk persons/ receptionists: both the man with the glasses and the young lady were VERY helpful, warm, polite and had smiles all the time. 👍👍👍👍👍
■House keeping guy was very helpful.

Minimalist but good enough as a transit stopover before crossing border. A convi house to rest to call off the day.

Staffs are friendly and courteous. Cosy room and clean bed. It has 2 EV charging spots and the rate is the cheapest in KB (RM0.88/kWh, Apr 2026). It was quiet during my sleep.

We had a nice experience with Ibis. Initially we planned to stay only for 1 night but we extended for another night.

The house is clean, neat, and well-organized. It offers a comfortable and peaceful village atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan city.

Very nice housed, very clean housed the owner also very hepfull. Complete house with all equipment kitchen and bathroom ❤

But I love this place especially off season, its like having the whole place to yourself including adult pool, kids pool and a field of a shallow white sandy beach.

There is only one bathroom, however.

I like this troika because the rooms are nice and cheap, there is a pool, which is fun, the location is strategic with the city of Kota Bharu, if you want to go to Kota Bharu, you can just walk.

My second time came here. Very friendly staff. Beautiful river view. The room was very comfortable and the owner made so much effort to make us feel welcome.

Went for the dinner buffet and a very pleasant service by the staff (Irfan). Variety of great foods and very nice environment.

Absolutely amazing stay at little cozy in Kota Bharu.

Beautiful home, very clean. Amazing concrete and parquet wooden flooring. Great AC and comfy beds.
But most of all, the host is a superstar.

Ok five stars because it’s clean and basic. Allow me to elaborate. First of all, it’s not some fancy hotel with a pool and conti breakfast.

Has half sheltered car parking in front of room.
Confortable twin beds, good Wi-Fi but TV has only 3 channels.
Supermarket and other amenities about 500m walk away.

Centrally located within Kota Bharu Town but away from the busy part of the town. Do not be deceived by the facade of shop houses.

Spent a weekend at this cozy hotel. And I really look forward to returning.

Overall it's okay.
The cleanness is okay.
The water working well.
The space is standardise with the maximum person that can go in.
Facilities like kitchen, fridge, even the rice cooker and etc.

The rooms was superb. Receptionist super nice and friendly. The hotel have mini laundry that we can easily wash our clothes and dry at the same time.

Accommodation with family from Johor for 3 nights weeks ago. The room is good. Clean and important not to be noisy because it is behind the road.

For a budget stay, the room is excellent in terms of cleanliness, with all the basic amenities.

2. Drying rack.
3. Balcony.
4.2 queensize bed.

Perfect place, I recommend you to stay here when you visit kota bharu.

So near to everything, mosque, pasar SK, muzium, railway station, food outlets… walking distance only.

Check in was fast and the price is reasonable considering in the middle of KB town. Room is quite spacious with basic facilities.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and 1 night. Parking is very limited, with only about two spots available, and it’s quite difficult to find parking in the area as it is usually full.

Suitable for couples or travellers to overnight in the middle of strategic town. Easy to access any routes to go and got a lot of outlets shop nearby.

I rarely post hotel reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one. Overall, I’m very impressed with the service they provide. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly throughout our stay.

Love the ambience, cozy and comfortable for dining. The customer service also on topp. The taste of food is really givingg and so aesthethic for gen-z.

Loved the overall atmosphere here, the resort has a very calming and aesthetic vibe. Very suitable if you want to get a life — break here with nature, can hear the beach's waves also.

Stayed for a night here and it was an extremely good experience. The workers also 👍

Since it was just for a 2D1N stay, my partner & I chose this budget hotel due to its location & value. It was close to the airport & past reviews were positive.
