I would like to thank Holiday Villa receptionist for the room upgrading during my recent visit. It’s so wonderful and I really appreciate it. It was the most comfortable and pleasant staying in Holiday Villa for me, my wife and kids. Good service. Awesome environment and great experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Villa Langkawi so much. The LaVilla infinity pool overlooking the beach is dreamy. Other swimming pool also got a huge size. Rooms are large and clean, staff are all helpful and friendly, breakfast was good. Overall would recommend!

I have changed my room 3 times already. This hotel needs maintenance badly. I have no complain on your staffs. Their are doing their level best to provide the service. But its the hotel itself cant cater anymore. I will never recommend HVLRS to whoever. Very frustrating situations. Aircond problem, toilet dirty, room is not clean. 129, 023 and 024 that is my room number. Booked for 2 nights, but I dont know how to survive my 1st night here, right now. Frust!

Beautiful setting, with lovely staff and all the amenities are amazing and we'll maintained, room is cleaned every day and sheets cleaned everyday. I can't think of one bad thing to say about this resort, it was just delightful.

An excellent choice for anyone to make who wants a nice, quiet place to stay that is not too far from the city's main attractions. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful, nice ambience good people.

I am leaving this beautiful place in an hour I will be back though and highly recommend this wonderful paradise to everyone. From the minute I arrived the staff were amazing, the room fantastic, food delicious and so peaceful that I don't want to leave here I will hopefully go to Bali at the end of January next year and am so happy to see they have a hotel there. I don't need to look at any other hotel. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and always done with a a friendly smile.

Extremely disappointed in wasting my money staying here. Rundown hotel with absolutely no means to improve. We ordered food with room service and waited but it never came. When this issue was raised with the manager on duty, his response was no better, mentioning perhaps the staff slept off or they did not take the order. Instead of apologising, he was interested in knowing where have we gone for sightseeing and where me and group of friends are from, which is at the height of unprofessionalism. Breakfast is bad, room are bad, service is bad. I would totally not recommend this place to anyone. P/s: They have bed bugs.

I wanted to give it a zero star but there is no option for that. There are many negative points for this hotel. I am only mensioning few. The rooms here are very small. No good services at all. Staff are not trained aaaaat all. You can hear noises from next door rooms and at night frogs are making noises all night long. And when we decided to ignore all of that, the water in the bathroom become dirty brown as you can see attched. It has been 20 mins since we reported this issue and until now no one appear to fix it. We have also asked for drinking water so that we can wash for Prayer and no answer. It has been the worse five days staying in Langkawi thanks to Holiday villa.

If you do not have kids, don't go to this hotel, it's full of loud, screaming and crying children. They are everywhere, even in your room, the walls and doors are so thin, it seems there is no barrier between you inside the room and them in the hallway. But, apart from that, the hotel is old, outdated and not maintained well. I received a farewell letter and a farewell present (chopsticks, a spoon and a fork, I really didn't understand why they would give me such a present, I am sure I would have been kicked off the plane if I tried to enter the flight with a fork! ), but they should concentrate on cleaning up and providing better service. If there is not sufficient funds for renovation, they can at least clean properly. The pool is filthy! The beach is never cleaned. They just cleaned the area around the snack bar and left the garbage bags for hours near the shower for all the guests to see… Big mistake. Then there are always strange young men sleeping on the sunbeds at the beach. Once I left my towel on a sunbed, and when I came back a guy was sleeping on my towel! The water sports are right next to the hotel and even though there is a designated area for swimming, the jet skis often pass through the swimming area! Very unsafe! I am sorry I never took a photo to have as proof, then I would sue them. Breakfast was ok, however, the ceiling is so low, and I am tall, so I was scared to go get any food because the fans are set so low that it was dangerous.

The beach is nice, the bar is not very, weak choice of drinks, rooms so so so, furniture is old, but clean up every day, the staff is friendly, no Russian TV, the location is convenient, not far street where many cafes and shops.

Nice pool, good hotel service, owns a private beach. Building was a little bit old but compensated with the big swimming pool. They have a big garden as well. Buffet breakfast was average, nothing was too fancy. Overall it was a good stay.

It is a vast and well built property with private beach and other luxuries as an ocean facing infinity pool and beach bar. Where it fails though is the service. This makes you feel not of a resort but more of a hostel. One of the four restaurants open only for breakfast and the only place to have meals remains lavilla pool club which is open. The use of infinity pool will be additionally charged. The in room dining runs out of food and housekeeping is also not very efficient. Still having said all that its a good place to lounge if one is looking for direct access beach, luxury of beach bar with minimal crowd and orders food from outside. Its great for groups and families with in pool bar which is not charged to use. Like any hostel its a great place to stay if one is looking for a nice place to stay and forgets about any service.

A good place to check in with family or friends. Wonderful location, very peaceful, scenic view and access to the beach as it's a beach resort. The food is wonderful as well. The rooms and premises are not as modern as the 4/5 star hotels in cities, but they are very clean and well maintained. If it's in your budget, go for it.

Polite staff but this place is not a 3 or 4 star resort. It is more like a motel. The decoration is old and the furniture is very dated. The pool is dirty and the beach is just ok but the accommodation overall did not look like the pictures. Not very good AC and smelt damp in the hallways, elevator and bathrooms. There are much better places to stay for much less of the quoted price here. Best to avoid and save your money.

Good resort with private beach but bad service: The resort is built very beautiful and has a private beach. It is also maintained properly and is very clean. The service is very bad. We called for different services many times but there was either no response or cold response. We stayed for 3 days but got frustrated by the level of service. Good part is that area around resort is silent and has good restaurants.

A decent resort with a clean private beach. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was just okay in terms of comfort, but was pretty big though. They had good spread for breakfast. At the beach, scooter boats, para sailing etc were offered at extra cost. Overall was happy with the stay.

Holiday Villa is an awesome property. The rooms are comfortable, It has a lovely pool and a private beach with a breath taking view. The sunset at the Cabanas will make your day. The staff is courteous, here I need to mention the name of Mr Falkhin the Manager of Customer Service, he was just exceptional. I would love to visit again and stay there.

In need of refurb. Tired looking and in need of upgrading. A pool that is open until 8pm yet the pool bar closes at 7pm. The following night I saw the pool bar serving until 7.45pm. No consistency. The service at The Villa was shocking. Very few customers yet the staff so unattentive. You can order a drink to room and charge to your room yet you can't go to breakfast and charge to your room. Overly priced with all the new hotels opening. Step up your game or you will fail like many other establishments. Not a place I would return to.

Awesome experience good ambience, house keeping services are too good, polite and eco friendly environment including hotel staff. Pool is clean and beach is awesome. I am very delighted that I have chosen this resort for my honeymoon. In night resort looks more beautiful and you can take lots of pictures around it.!

A decent hotel, but very need renovation, rooms and furniture little old. Good breakfast, big, quiet and deserted beach, big territory. The gym is small, the inventory is in satisfactory condition. There was a very tasty dinner at sunset with seafood and dessert, at an adequate cost.

Location is excellent. The place across street serves savory food at a decent price compared to what you'll find down the road (pricey). Don't forget to talk to the lady that does the tours. She speaks English, Tamil and Malay. She will do everything in her power to get you where you need. She knows this island like the back of her hand. The pool is great. The view is awesome. I can't wait to come back.

Super great stay with super great service. Could not find any fault. Love the Lavilla Pool and Beach. Staff was always smiling and extend a helping hand. They truly have a special way of taking care of the guests needs. No doubt certain times they have to implement some rules to keep the place intact. Well it is definitely a place worth coming back to.

At Holiday Villa, the holiday vibe is vibrant and emphasized. The best sunsets on the island can be enjoyed from the beach bar before continuing on to a wonderful bbq dinner by the infinity pool, with a cultural show. Spoilt for choice there’s many facilities and amenities, we enjoyed tennis in the shady courts (a big plus! ), beach volley and jet skis right at the hotels beach front. The local staff are authentic and always happy and a true Malaysian vacation can be experienced here! Not to be missed.

Nice enough place, but not enough to warrant 4 stars — friendly service and attendants, food at the poolside restaurant was sub par. Plus extra charges to use the sea front pool? (The other pool was included in your stay). Air conditioning in the bedroom took a long time (over an hour) to cool the room down, and it was loud. Nice lobby, nice that there was a spa on three premises (but making a reservation in the evening was difficult). Will I come back? I won't say no, but it won't be my first choice either.

Very nice resort hotel. Close to beach. Very clean beach. Freindly staff. Breakfast was very good and lots and lots of selection for the breakfast. The area is close to a lot of things and plenty of taxis are available. The rooms were somewhat clean but more towels and water should be provided. There should also be curfews so some guests keep quiet after a certain time.

The hotel is very much in the years and is visited very strongly by Chinese, which represents a very size noise. The plant makes an unkempt impression.
On the beach there is always a jellyfish anschwämmungen here is also caution when swimming. I would recommend the hotel only due to the travel groups from China alone.

25 photos of the hotel holiday villa Resort, after the notices of convenience, here are real photos of the hotel, first hotel located right in the Air Highway, rustic hotel that does not correspond at all to photos on Booking or TripAdvisor, the smell in Hallways is unpleasant, the thickness of the walls between each room are very thin and therefore difficult sleep, the pool is very cold with plastic at the bottom of the water as evidenced by the photos. The Chinese population are excefrable, no smile and very noisy, for breakfast is the icing on the cake because the smells are mixed, the deafening noise of the Chinese makes you very soon regretted to have chosen this hotel, the lizards and Giant spider are ubiquitous. Cordially your agency Google FRANCE. (no activity around the hotel)

Very relaxing sitting by the pool all day enjoying our time out. Rooms feel a little old but still very comfortable. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast.

Nice pool, beach and service. But there is no soundproofing. Expensive restaurant and bar compared to other places on langkavi. Compared to Russian restaurants, it is a little cheaper.

I stayed at Holiday Villa for 3 nights. It was an amazing place to stay. Nice, Big and clean room with balcony. Pool and beach view. Property's location is very good near to central market and restaurants. Excellent Breakfast, Quick room service. Spa experience was also Good. Recommended for couples and families.

Its really exciting. Cozy rooms. Rest room very net and clean. Hot and cold water available. Brach is just beside. Spa, gaming zone, bar is in and out side both. Swimming pool for adult and child. Live music. Breakfast is awesome. Good for staying.

We liked the place, yes perhaps the place is slightly showing its age here and there but we found our room was very clean, the service very friendly, the pool very nice and they keep the grounds and beach very clean (no small task when one sees the amount of plastic that washes up in just a few hours). We had a room with a garden view, cool and quiet.

Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff, quiet beach… plenty restaurants walking distance. 2 corner stores within easy walking distance. 1 sells beer. Other has great variety of bathers & pool toys.

Still happening. Retaining the old world charm of this place while showcasing the magical isles on positive notes… food at the coffee house must be further improved. Service staffs are as sweet as those days. Clean and still happening. Being going there since 1993…

Good, clean hotel with good breakfast. Didn't try the pool. The cab drivers outside charge ALOT for the short ride to nearby market, especially if you are a foreigner. Note that no major food chain, at least those we tried, offer delivery services in Langkawi.

You can use their terrace under the trees, directly on the beach, without being a customer. A bit expensive, but the place is fantastic.

Just superb, in all respects. Yes, service is a little slow but then the whole island is like that. It is the reason you go to Langkawi. Everything is delightfully slow. If you want to relax in a delightful place, this resort will fill all your needs. The food is good. Everything is cheap. The location is fantastic. The staff, from the room cleaners, through to the management are super friendly. The barmen at the swim up pool bar, are the best. They are very friendly and happy to engage. Thanks Holiday Villa. We'll be back next July.

This hotel just wasted my money with very bad service. The staff has bad attitude and I don't feel welcome at all. The cleaning is also bad. Room service is terrible and people are very slow, need call them many times to get your order. The swimming pool got two section and nice section has an entrance fee RM25/ person, which other hotels normally don't charge for. I paid for Deluxe premium room for RM650/night. Hotel breakfast is very basic compare to what you are paying for the rooms. This place is ridiculous. Don't come here.

Awesome place for families to stay. Very close to market and eating outlets. Huge property and it has a private beach. Water sports is available here. Breakfast buffet is huge and lavish. Swimming pool is awesome. It has Jacuzzi, gym and spa. It's a spacious property. Rooms are good and well maintained.

Decent location 4 mins taxi from Cenang Beach Strip. Nice beach and views, average rooms, average food, average facilities — infinity pool is an extra £5 per person per day if you want to sit there (This is a bit cheeky in my opinion). Most staff are very good. Entertainment guys Annie and Eric were good fun. Just about worth the price.

I was hesitant booking based on some reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. Sure, there are some nicer places but for much more. The beach is quiet and big. It's perfect being able to walk downstairs and straight to the beach. Having shaded seating was a plus and it was an added bonus you could order food at the small restaurant on the actual beach. The pool was huge and awesome. The rooms didn't change my life but they felt plenty clean and the bed was comfy. We opted for the slightly more expensive suite that has a separate bedroom and it was great. I'd definitely stay again.

The beach and pool area make a lot of things good again… The rooms are less than that. We were in the federal villa (both hotels belong together) and after all the flights had the craftsmen there… no light, new cables were quickly laid.

Best thing abt this resort is the huge pool and uncrowded beach. Rooms are a bit run down.

Their infinity pool/bar section was clean and had a good atmosphere. Food was delicious. 25RM entry fee if you are a guest, but includes a drink. 50RM for outsiders.

Honestly ruined my trip, they didnt clean our rooms till about 5pm. We had to pay to use the pool which I found pretty stupid. The rooms and bathroom are outdated and could use a renovation. Honestly very disappointed!

Decent experience at this hotel, good location near to many restaurants, night market, and not too far from the airport either. However its anticipated infinity pool requires guests to pay 25RM to enter, which is really off putting.

Stayed here my family. The room is newly renovated so everything looks clean and new. The facilities are fine but the service is a little below the standard. I asked for an extra and it came only after we requested it for 4 times.

Quiet beach and great location. The hotel room itself looks a bit old but they provide great services. I hope they will upgrade or renovate soon. During my stay (a few days ago), there were ants and mosquitoes partying in my room! If you don't like the busy Cenang beach, you can consider this place.

Wi-fi is free throughout, beautiful uhožennpâ area, very friendly staff, perfect value for money, excellent location on the coast, excellent spacious swimming pools.

Hotel location is wonderful. It was nice roaming around resort. I booked pool side sea view and I found rooms are in old condition, I stayed two nights and spent most of the time outside. Still I feel the hotel is overpriced and not worth this much.

Its a substandard hotel in interior — when I go through the internet I though it is a timber strip hwvr it come out to be a cheap timber looking cool tiles and an old rugs. With no bathtub. The internet is slow at the price of Rm40 per day. Really cekik darah. Blood sucking motel The staff was not professional. Pls train ur manager /staff not to call guest kakak or abang. U r not selling goreng pisang pls. If u can call non local tourist sir and madam can u be more polite to do it to local tourist. Substandard service. T&c was not explained and they can come out wt the letter we signed to prove tt we read snd understand. Howdid u expect to readwhen u just boad the plain.

Hotel is certainly not better for a 4 star, solid 3. But still I liked the first beach near the nose, while the beach is very clean, white sand, warm sea — what else is needed? Secondly there in the evenings played very pleasant music and my husband really liked to lie on the sun loungers and look at flying airplanes. As for the cuisine can say only one on the territory of the restaurant it is not very tasty and expensive, but on the territory of Ostrava so many restaurants that everyone will find something to your taste.

Terrible hotel. 3* with tension. Disgusting, tasteless food, no choice. The territory is more or less normal, quite green; the beach is good, but there are no palm trees. Bathroom in room no. Location — proximity to the places of entertainment among the cheap shops.
