The westin Langkawi Resorts And Spa served us a high standard of services. The room is very clean and upgraded us to garden view room with balcony. The rain shower is amazing with very high water pressure make me feel very comfortable during shower. The view is fanstatic and the staffs are friendly. The beach looks good and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. However, during our stay the main restaurant seasonal tastes closed for renovation and we had go walked go to the Langkawi Internation Convention Center which quite a distance. I am okay with the distance the only concern is the so called fully set up breakfast venue did not provide a good environment to the diners. I believe the chocies and variety has been reduced. We requested for a buggy to the recreational center that have gym, basketball court, squash, sauna and jazcuzi. Overall, I would like to rate is 95/100.

Amazing place and so peaceful and quiet.

Stayed as a titanium elite member and welcome amenities were thoughtful. Friendly hotel associates and very prompt service and responses through mobile chat. Wide varieties of complimentary and chargeable activities for both adults and kids. The hotel is located away from the centre, so it is advisable to rent a car as it could be quite challenging getting e-hailing ride services. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay at Westin Langkawi.

Lovely, not a lot about, you can walk out around 10mins either side of both hotel westin or Regis & come across bars & restaurants, the restaurants in the westin are lovely, lunch at the pool very generous Lovely views, nothing bad here.

Having a wonderful time at Westin. Staff is super friendly, everything is perfect just the way we wanted it to be for our honeymoon. A special shoutout to Haider for taking care of us and ensuring everything was in order during our switching of rooms and most importantly fr noticing that my husband left behind his wallet, keys, etc and returning it to us! He deserves some recognition!
Overall Westin is one of the hotels that I would highly recommend, I've stayed here before many years ago and the service is just excellent till today!

We are there for 3 nights wth my family of 5. We enjoyed the pools, scenery & friendly staffs. Breakfast wth variety of foods. Will come bck again.

We Stayed here for 2 nights. This place has beautiful views of the ocean and their infinity pool is huge! The service was wonderful as we had a welcome tea upon arrival and fruit basket in our room!
Later in the afternoon there were macaroons with chocolates sent for tea!
We felt overly pampered! As we left we had a lovely complementary afternoon tea:) which fulfilled our hearts desire …
Their Course meal dinner was perfect and Chef Jero /Zeero was really accommodating and ensured we enjoyed every bit of our meal!
Definitely a place to stay for a family!

It was amazing short vacay with my small family. My hubby and son. He is turn to 15 and since we’re BONVOY member, there are so many privilegers entitled for us! Nice premier room with ocean view, good breakfast, amazing view and all are excellent.

The property is AMAZING, with a suite that has a balcony that encompasses the entire top of a building. We felt like ROYALTY, and that was directly because of the incredible Nor Albaniah and her teammates.

Wonderful spot. Amazing location and great facilities for all the family. Service could be improved in Breeze. Wrong food order arrived and food was not hot. Similar expiation breakfast where most food was at best lukewarm. A shame as it spoils the food which is high quality.

Amazing hotel. Stayed here for 3D 2N, their service staff goes out of their way to make your holiday experience a really good one. Upon check in, our rooms weren't ready and they offered us drinks at the nearby bar. They managed to let us have a very late check out at 4pm as we have a really late flight. The resort is huge, so it didn't felt crowded at all. Has a good kids club which was empty most of the time, has a good range of toys and activities. The beach side was very good with a huge menu like pizza, satay, wings, fries and not overpriced at all. The infinity pool offers a very good view and has free popsicles going around for guests. Has a pool side bar which serves a good cocktail range. There are noodles to borrow to play in the pool. At the evening, there's seats facing sunset for relaxing, and there's no pressure to order drinks at all. The rooms are new and huge, got an upgrade as well. Will definitely be back for another vacation.

Lovely hotel breakfast is amazing has fresh juices. Love the view. But the rooms still need constructions and the monkeys are disturbing. Other than that lovely hotel it has a great view and two swimming pools and a kids center.

Great location, breath taking views and truly 5 star facilities. And 95% of the service staff were outstanding. I would wish to single out the pool and pool bar staff. Less than outstanding were the service staff at the breeze restaurant. In my 7 day stay, I always found myself, more often than not, standing up to go to the counter to demand service or a bill. Finally, I would have good to know, in advance, that the hotel is skewed towards Arabic clientele. The speciality restaurant is Arabic, the Breeze serves Arabic dishes, more Arabic choices at breakfast… I have nothing against this, except that if I wanted an Arabic experience, I would have gone to Dubai. I was looking for a Malay, Chinese and Indian experience in line with the cultures in Malaysia. Sadly that was not the case…

The Westin is a modern hotel that is located on the sea shore. The rooms look out over the ocean and also have a pool area and gardens. The buffet breakfast is simply fantastic with a large variety of fruits, meats, seafood, asian and western dishes. The friendly staff will help with parking, luggage and anything else that may be required. Large groups of tourists from cruise ships can be found. A busy and friendly place for a relaxed holiday.

My husband and I were very disappointed!
The value for money is exorbitant (€1000 for 4 nights without counting €300 extra for small supplements).
The 2 major assets of this establishment are the exteriors with the different pools and the exceptional view on the different islands as well as the Spa (the massages were very relaxing and very professional! ).
For the rest, total disappointment!
Premium room which was not of any freshness with shower door that did not close as well as the shower handle that was broken. The joints were crumbling, carpets and other furniture were stained…
Smell of tobacco, unbearable noise from sprinkler jets outdoors.
Obliged to inform the staff to do the cleaning in the room, obliged again to contact them repeatedly for the refit of toilet paper, handkerchiefs…
One afternoon, we were kindly "expelled" from our deckchairs under the pretext of a private evening at this same place (no but I dream! )
We who had to return to Langkawi in January, it is of course safe and certain that we will not return to this hotel!

Awesome hotel with awesome facilities. Staff are always friendly and ready to assist. Great views although there’s no sunset view. Facilities include pool with sea view, recreation center with gym and even a kids area to dump your kids. Location is good with just about 5mins drive to town. Quiet and clean private beach although be on a lookout for sand flies. Got some bites while walking on the beach. Heavenly Spa is a must try for those wanting for a pampering session.

Love the room. The pools and the breakfast. Dining are always good. However the band playing at the bar should be replaced. It's horrible been there once but never again cause its future the same type of singers. For a 5 stars hotel the band is only suitable for 2 or 3 star hotel.

A stunningly beautiful hotel, set on a private beach. Every restaurant in the hotel has breathtaking views, including the venue for the breakfast buffet. The hotel has several romantic private dining area, each of which are isolated and very nicely placed. There are numerous pools, the main pool features a bar and is a bit like an infinity pool, with a view that runs into the sea. There's a small water sports center, with very few activities. The kids center is quite far from the main hotel, near the spa. It's not big but does have a complete child minding service. All in all the hotel is very beautiful, has great service but is quite pricey. It's about 30minutes drive from the airport. For food, do try any of the nearby restaurants.

Staff's lovely. Brilliant for a conference/wedding venue. They offer cheap and reliable cab services to anywhere and around the clock. Their staff are extremely efficient and competent! Well-done on that! Food however is bad. Get better chefs, perhaps? Rooms are okay (nothing over-the-top or too-wow) but offers excellent sea view. All in all, will certainly recommend this to others.

We have now had 10 days here and it has been a fabulous stay. We were lucky enough to be spending our wedding anniversary here and approached Saiffol to book a table at Anjung Damai. He went above and beyond in making it a wonderful night. The staff at tide and housekeeping, laid on a few surprises which rounded the whole night off. Thank you so much. We now have 2 more days and will be sorry to go. Thank you to all the staff as you have made this an excellent stay for us.

Just returned from a week s stay at the Westin Langkawi. The experience was an amazing one… going in we were taken in by a breathtaking view which we then enjoyed daily from near the pools. We were traveling with a toddler which could have made the trip more complicated, however the staff are super friendly with kids and always provided the assistance we needed. The quality of the food at the restaurants was top notch. Would like to point out that though the atmosphere on the beach is peaceful and worth spending time at, the sea was not very clean in fact we preferred staying at the various pools around the resort. We Highly recommend this resort!

Over all nice hotel except some cockroach and bugs always around you. Yeah you are in middle of nature it’s okay. Other than that stuff unfortunately don’t know what you want I changed the room 3 times because of painting the smell is so disturbing. Here I share some of good view.

The Westin is just beautiful. We took a villa with pool and the villa is superb. The pool is quite guarded to be able to relax and do a few fathoms…
The hotel service is worthy of the name. The staff are attentive and always smiling…
The villa is very spacious with a view of the beach which is located at 50m.
The restaurants are varied and good.
There are 3 large swimming pools including one for children.
What to spend a moment with family or as a couple or with friends…
Enough to be satisfied with a good holiday.

Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. Very nice resort with decent rooms, facilities, pool etc. Got a discounted price through Expedia and a room upgrade, but definitely wouldn't have paid full price to stay here. Rooms weren't ready at 3pm for check in, but then got a room upgrade. If you stay here I highly recommend looking at the tours on offer. The jet ski 3.5 hour tour with Naam was really good — on par with Mega Water Sports.

I was t in this hotel on 05/2017. I enjoyed so much. Everything is perfect. I advise to take ocean view room.

Visited the Westin from the St Régis for dinner. The Tide restaurant is decently priced and a good sized menu. Portions are also quite good. Would definitely come back if we were in the area in Langkawi.

A great family hotels. It has all the facilities needed for a family trip ranging from young kid to adult — swimming pool, kid pool with a small water theme park, convenience and souvenir store, spa centre, and several restaurant choices. The beach front unit offers a quiet and relaxing serene. The only downside is the room service which would be slow at time and confusing. We were directed among the housekeeping, room service and reception for one of the service request. Other than that, my kids and wife enjoy the stay very much and we could spend the whole day at the resort.

If you're looking for relaxing place, not too crowded and high class, then this is it. Facilities are very good. Even though the place is big, it never felt crowded. We went during Chinese New Year so it was full. Buffet breakfast was very good and on-site restaurants were good… a bit expensive but good quality. Beds were extremely comfortable. We had a view facing the sea and caught sunset views, excellent.

The only problem is the very low-end music of the spa, otherwise excellent establishment. See the quality of the discarded oily water. The interview to supervise. The tennis courts would ask for a little more repainting probably.

Our room was great. We had a partial sea view room. The property is nice and has a beach. The staff was friendly as well.

This is the place to go for a 5 star holiday. Pricey yes but man o man what a view. Have dinner by the beach and watch the sun go down. Hire a car and drive the island. Do it once a great bucket list item.

The best beach resort around the world I have ever stayed. It's beautiful, very clean, friendly staff, awesome location, got great facilities — swimming, spa, recreation and private beach. Stayed in premium ocean view room for my honey moon and enjoyed every bit of it. I highly recommend this place for couples. You can plan your outdoor photo shoot as there lots of beautiful location in it.

Here for a 2 day conference. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is up to standard. Great facilities. But no shoe horn though.

We were at the heavenly retreat again last weekend. Had 3 amazing nights. Excellent service. We were upgraded to a partial ocean view room by Sundar, the Front Office Manager. Breakfast spread was grand. Friendly staff. All in had a wonderful weekend. My hubby and I felt the tour desk people could be better informed on their suggestions on what one can do in Langkawi. They were quite eager to sell what's in the menu. However, when asked they were very helpful. We will definitely return for another retreat. Cheers.

Stayed in a one bedroom pool Villa by the beach. Awesome does not describe adequately just how food these villas are. The service here at the Westin Langkawi is second to none. Just amazing, friendly and always ready to help.

What a stunning place. If you want a place to just totally relax and enjoy the beach then this is the place. Hotel has 3 swimming pools once which included a swim up bar. I spent some time at the spa. Was lovely and so relaxing. A magical place. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Food is just amazing and the drinks are too. Will defiantly try and go again.

Went for dinner at the Tide beach side restaurant and had some really great food. The portions were good, which is sometimes lacking at 5 star hotels and the kids menu was great with a placemat the kids could colour in, nice touch. They even gave our kids some balloons from a table next to us that no longer needed them. Food was reasonably priced although the beer was over priced for a can of Heinekin.

This hotel looked beautiful in pictures! And it was! But it was extremely outdated! First night we stayed their our air conditioner didn't work. We stayed up until 4 am waiting for it to kick in because they were in slow season and turned off the chiller machine. By the second day our desks were full of ants! Under our paperwork, Our bags, and anything we had on the desks had ants on them. We complained and they came in and sprayed the room (but kept us in there) they sent house keeping in later that evening and when we returned we noticed they did not even clean the dead ants on the desks or clean the floors! At that point I was done with this hotel, I lost my cool on the manager and they ended up switching us rooms. Once our room was switched we did not see bugs and if we did its cause they were coming out of our bags. The buffet was extremely nice and so was the pool! Bar service wasn't the greatest and the ocean side was pretty rocky so we could not swim in it. I probably would never stay here again.

Always love the Westin resort. The upkeep is very good. No matter where you go in the world they also have the same high standards. The service was good. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was amazing. The pools were good. But if only you go to an island to stay inside This location does not have a good beach. It is not clean as it is just around the corner from a jetty terminal. The water is muddy and the mud is black. I saw some big giant lizards on the beach as well. All in all the resort is good the location is absolutely a fail.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The sound insulation is bad-we heard neighbors talking when they left and came to the room. The beach was not very nice. Escaped to the neighbouring island to Lipe.

Lovely hotel, beautiful setting, wonderful service BUT my room although very comfortable was a little run down-water stains on d walls, the outside sitting area doors had fungus on them. Considering the amount the room rate is, it should be perfect!

I love to stay in Westin Langkawi. They served a free birthday cake to my wife. What a lovely place to stay.

An absolutely wonderful, family friendly hotel with a genuinely caring staff and meticulously kept grounds. It's also in a great location as being secluded from the remainder of the island while still being close enough to town for shopping and dining. Our family with young children had an amazing experience.

Best Westin Experience. The infinity pool facing the sea is awesome! Best in class service all round. One of the best spa experience in the recent years!

only bad points are some of the staffs attitude are very bad, a lot alot of mosquito and the billing is messy, found out got some extra charges when I checked out.

Pool was particularly close to the sea, but where some poor staff, mosquitoes very, very much. Check out OK check found the receipt number is wrong, remember to check the Bill.

A nice beach resort near the Kuah jetty. The spa services is excellent and the food spreads at breakfast is delicious.

Great hotel, I stayed there for 9 nights, very friendly staff, but the breakfast is the same everyday no new food.

Our experience here has been fantastic. We are a couple with a 4 year old son. Every aspect of the service here is absolutely first class. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. There are little touches of a first class place that make it more special. The staff recognize and greet you, the grounds are immaculate. My wife says the spa is top notch. The kids club was reasonably priced and my son came back to us with a smile on his face and some pretty impressive batik (Minions batik, but what can you do? ). The breakfast is crazy good, with sparkling wine, fresh juice and great food from whichever continent you are inclined. What really won me over was when my son got ill (nothing serious — a fever/cold) and the hotel gave us a complimentary car and driver to take us to the clinic. The driver, a member of the Westin staff, waited for us and even checked in on us in the clinic. We felt supported and reassured. When we returned, several staff members asked after our son. A couple of hours later we got a nice plate of fruit and a "get well" card. That, folks, is 5 star service. I will absolutely recommend this resort to friends. I'd like to give 4.5 stars. 1/2 star knocked off because the beach is tidal and not great for swimming and we had a lunch that was so-so at one of the restaurants. To be fair, we also had some mind-blowing dinners of fresh seafood and local fare.

The hotel is Fan-Tas-Tic! The staff is great! The food is delicious. The only negative thing is that the beach doesn't look as good as it should.

It was pleasant stayed in westin, beautiful scenery and infinity pool, sunrise and sunset in the same spot pool side area, made my weekend getaway in westin langkawi unforgettable buffet was fantastic with their concept eat well. I would love to comeback again next getaway.

Breathtaking views and wonderful services.

Amazing service, really nice hotel and much to do in the vicinity. However, if all you want to do is lie on a pristine beach then this might not be your cup of tea. The beach is decent enough during high tide, although the water is not totally clean and during low tide it gets quite muddy. But the hotel more than makes up for it. Multiple really nice pools, really comfy room, a nice play area for kids, great views and yummy breakfast. The Brazilian barbq at sunset was a highlight and so was kayaking at the beach.

Very nice resort, the beach is ok, but the rest is just perfect for great vacation.

Hit the gym there. Good equipments. Love the environment there.
