Most of the facilities in the Room were either damaged or non functional. We booked for 1 large bed, they told us we need to pay extra for it and provided us the single individual beds. Toilet flush was non — functional when the Room was provided, we requested the change in room. It was barely manageable in another room. The shower head was faulty. No rest room bidet. Slow and tedious check out process, they took almost 30 minutes for checkout. The ladies receptionists were very rude and unhelpful. The building is old and it's not qualified for a 3 star hotel as well. Even the breakfast options are limited. The rooms are not sound proof, We are able to hear the outside and another room noise. Not worth the price, the cheap motels are far more better than this hotel.

The resort is so nice. The view to the sea is calming me in the night. The room was so comfortable and it was very easy to go to 'kedai mamak'

Excellent Rooms. Book A sea view rooms. Very good hospitality and a great breakfast which satisfies everyone both Indians Americans Malaysians etc.

After checking out and paying in cash, They charged my card for a hundred rgs. I filed a complaint to Visa company, I was denied the refund for not having the receipt which I threw away.

Bad service, some of the facilities is not functioning eg:fan, light, remote control… Not efficiency, house keep doesn't pick up the phone.

Really a very nice place to stay at. I stayed for four days and I totally appreciate my stay. Everybody tries to stay at Cenang beach, but the sunset is clear and amazing from De Baron Kuah. It has a local night market next door, get a nice foot massage and one can enjoy the music and food from here. Good for brisk walk. 5 mins away from De Baron is the Taman Legenda and another park, which end into the beach. Great views. 15 mins walk from De Baron is Jetty point where the Island Hopping and Mangrove rides start from. One has to be really careful while bargaining for the rides, they can charge you variantly, don’t fall pray for this. Tip: always try to wear full sleeves and full clothing and apply sunscreen while going for Island Hopping and Mangrove trips. You will have assured tan if you neglect. There are two huge malls and one new Light house coming up at Kuah, Kuah seems to be the upcoming delight at Langkawi. Only problem being the cabs to Langkawi airport charge more than double from this place in the early and late hours. To conclude, try to book the seaview side 3rd floor rooms at De Baron and you will just fall in love again. Do not run around for sunset views, this Resort has the perfect sunset view.

Like most people have said, the property is dated and the rooms are in dire need for a makeover. Service is functional. The saving grace is the swimming pool which kids will definitely enjoy but not grown ups. The property is not in walking range to anything other than Legenda Park. My recommendation is that if you are looking for a cheap hotel, might as well stay at Cenang beach.

In comparison with last year, there service & hospitality is okay. Bt previous it was good.

Just nice hotel with superb services. One of the best hotel services I have received. Even though the hotel is not really up to date… the services is really good. You can ask for anything… and they will fulfill for you. Without any questions.

No more next time! The hotel sucks！ The escalator is broken! Open and close the door by itself! The whole building is such a haunted building! The lobby is very dark! No lights no people! The lock of the room is broken too! The room is very dark! The TV has no channel! And when I call the room service and house keeping there's no one answering the phone! Everything's sucks.

Poor service. Hotel room door was pretty rough and faced difficulty in opening it. Had to bang on it for some time until it opened. Weird lift which had a personality of its own. Wi-Fi is non existent even though they claim it's present. Room was pretty clean and neat and spacious which is the positive thing about the place. Nice parking space too and is right in the middle of the city and places like eagle square. Sea facing restaurant with poor French fries. Nice views. Very slow service if you need any. That's all I got to say about it.

Giving 2 star just because of location and service. My room was smelly and bed had bugs and a Lot of dirt under the bed, couldn't sleep all night and had to check out next and move to another hotel. I had taken pics but won t share because the lady manager was very pleasant and took prompt action when I showed her pics of room.

Awesome place for stay. Silent & The best sea view from the rooms. Nice staff's, cleanliness is good and very timely. Good communication and nearby attractions. In a whole… good value for money. We've enjoyed our stay!

Place is located on the water front and has good views. I would give four stars for the location. Check in was smooth and hassle free. The corridors carpets had stains on them. Room was spacious with kettle, complimentary water bottles and Tea bags. Fridge is available in the room. Iron Board is placed in the corridor. Breakfast was good but nothing extraordinary. Tea and coffee were terrible. There are two Swimming pools in the resort. The largest mosque of Langkawi is at 500 yards and there are couple of Restaurants and shopping plaza nearby.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to live there, but the place looks great, a great clean area, quiet and cozy.

Good spot kalau you all nak shopping kat area kuah …

The old corps was pretty good. Breakfast (20myr) is included, the variety is of course minimal, but there were even fruits. Pool, two roller coasters. For young children (3-5 years) Super.

Nutrition to increase again to other tourist resort to stay to eat food not tired of the same every day. Repair should be eating healthy cuisine. Change of attitude and increasing need more employees in the hotel to public at this resort impact. And do not empty.

Terrible services from receptionist.

Hold 1500ft before rejoining Langkawi International Airport.

Not as bad as what others say. Affordable price. Rm380.38 for 2 nights, 3 to 4 person, 2 double bed. Facing sea view. The staff are very friendly. They ask if we need help woth luggage. Provide 2 person bfast. Clean is not super clean but overall environment is ok. If you have been langkawi u know the place is bit old and kampung, its not a city so don't expect such high standard. Unless u pay for it. Overall ok. But. They are renovating now. One lift only and the water heater not working. Probably under maintenance. Well all I can say is affordable. Cause. The whole langkawi is. Like this.

Early 歺 less, room, home 俬 a little outdated, but the bed is very large, in General can also.

I have a few complaints about this hotel. I've booked 2 rooms under Airasiago for a 2 nights stay for 4 paxs. I was given 2 rooms one numbered 1004 and 1006. The room numbered 1004 is a totally bad quality room. Firstly, the room is full of strong smoking smells even till the next morning. Next, the water basin in the toilet is leaking and dirty and the toilet door requires hard push to get the door close. Much more, the TV is not in order and need to get the maintenance personnel to change it. The room is also smaller than my other friends room 1006. The curtain couldn't be open because there was construction out there so once you open the curtain, all the workers will be looking directly at you. The lights were so dim making the room very discomfort to be stayed in. Next morning I couldn't stand it so I've made a complaint and request for a room change. I've changed into a room numbered 1020. And guess what, wow the room is totally a different one. Everything is the opposite of the condition in room 1004 except there is no water boiler and TV is not functioning again but later was solved by getting the maintenance again. Wi-Fi in rooms totally can't be accessed. One more thing is the lift button (going down button) in level 1 is not functioning. So we need to press the up button and go up then only able to go down to lobby, The lobby at the building we are staying in is so dark and no aircond and everything is so messy there.

Very bad hotel. Don't be fooled by hotel photos as they are rude staff, no one to carry bags to rooms, all corridors smell very septic, towels are not clean and full of stains, toilets are not clean, they know nothing about respecting tourists or customers service. I changed to another hotel after 2 hours, BE AWARE DO NOT GO THERE.
