We had our anniversary celebrate here. Staff are very friendly. The room are very clean and comfortable. Room equipment are very complete, got hair dryer, iron and etc. Definately will come back again.

What a beautifully presented and tasty dinner we had tonight. Staff were very friendly following all SOPs and very attentive. Fresh bread, salmon roulade was amazing with lots of flavours throughout which all complimented each other. The salmon was well cooked and the chicken was tasty and a huge portion. We will definitely be back very soon.

Have ordered from here for the past two nights and every dish has been good. Best ones were the tandoori lamb and Hainanese chicken rice. Highly recommend this place.

Even though the hotel was not near beach, if you want a few days to relax in the sun then The Smith House is ideal. I loved the hotel, the pool, the food but most of all the staff. From our welcome on day one to our drop off at the airport, they were amazing. The hotel was spotless, the room a good size and facilities good. Roof terrace pool was perfect.

The smith house have good locations. The hotel cafe serve us tasty foods. Really really nice and memorable stay there! My family really enjoy the hotel and it’s food provided. The room is just enough for us to rest well and they have smart TV too! Love the food selection for breakfast and in dining, and thanks for the cookies too. Me and my family really appreciate it! Next time we heading back to Langkawi, definetely will stay at The Smith House.

Professionally run place. Clean and quiet despite being on a main road. Restaurant menu is good. Very well located for business and leisure alike. Quite a few places close by for conveniences as well as adventure.

We stumbled upon this beautiful hotel in Langkawi and stayed here for two nights. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The bed is soft and we slept really well. Breakfast is buffet and has a lot of variations: from eggs to cereals for kids. This was the best start we could have by choosing The smith house as our first stop in Malaysia. The hospitality in general was truely amazing. A grab taxi is only 12RM and they also rent bikes at the hotel itself!

This Hotel is excellent for singles or couples. But not recommended for a family with young kids. We stayed here in July with 2 young kids. The shared door in toilet and shower, just doesn't work.

Didn't put high expectation to the hotel but to my surprise, it is good. Clean and comfortable hotel, TV equipped with several movies, musics. The breakfast is acceptable, limited but sufficient. Several parking slot. The building is a shop lot type hotel but there is a pool at the roof level. Liked it!

Nothing to complain about. It's a short 5-minute drive from the airport, and has a lovely rooftop pool. Staff are mostly friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and have all the basic amenities. Breakfast is good and the food items are rotated so you get a mix of different dishes every day. Even the television comes loaded with blockbuster movies to watch on nights we felt like being lazy. Will gladly stay here again if I'm back in Langkawi.

Small rooms, but very clean. The breakfast was good. There is a pool on the rooftop, but it closes at a certain time. The staff at reception was very nice. It is very conveniently located close to the airport. The price is reasonable for what you get.

Pros very nice building with nice rooms. Breakfast was very nice. Hotel motorcycle was avail at 40rm. Location near the airport. 3mins drive. Central of the whole island. Cons. Walk from the reception to some rooms are very far. TV had cable channels but not very smooth.

Value for money hotel. Great hotel staff. Compact rooms. Closer to the airport. Rent a car to go around Langkawi. Not closer to the happening places in Langkawi. The room service food options are limited but the food was tasty. Has a nice pool in the top floor.

This place is terrific. Comfortable beds nice buffet breakfast, modern, spotlessly clean. It is located near the airport and is not near the beach. If you stay here you will want to rent a car. There is a laundry and a wonderful Italian restaurant a block away. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

It may be away from the the usual tourist areas but that is what I like about it. It is an easy distance to all the tourist attractions with out being surrounded by wall to wall surf shops which seem to invade all island paradises around the world. The rooms in The Smith House are luxurious, the breakfast menu wonderful and the restaurant/room service very reasonably priced. Recommended.

Had a fantastic 10 night stay with my wife. The place is very clean, and the staff are all helpful and friendly. The roof top swimming pool has great views, and the pool attendant is a great guy. The bell boy organised a mangrove trip for me, and even gave me a lift there. The breakfast is good, plenty of choice.

Amazing place to stay in langkawi! Pretty rooftop pool and cozy restaurant and bar w friendly and meticulous staff. It's also just 5 mins to the airport by car. Smart TV, so there are free movies and YouTube to keep you company in the room.
They even have a library w books to borrow if you are there to chill. Room was comfy and spacious too! Awesome experience! PS the orangenated water that all can get at the lobby was refreshing too!

Breakfast is a daily party. A means of locomotion is desirable. Nearby airport. I recommend without hesitation.

Clean, comfortable room with good climate control and great shower. The rooftop pool is a very nice place to plan your day after the well-stocked (Malay and western) breakfast buffet. Biggest downside for me was the horrible background music (muzak really) that was constantly playing at daytime; it leaked into the room and made headphones compulsory when I tried to go for a nap after a tiring beach day.

A great place near the airport. Rooms are nice, clean, have new furniture, good design. Staff is friendly. The restaurant for breakfast is quite tiny so it easily gets packed up in the morning.

Hotel next to the airport so very practical for short stays with Toccata and getaway. Recently inaugurated it has everything you need to stay in full relax.
Restaurant of a good standard. Swimming pool located in the roof in a very spacious and well equipped area with bar and wardrobe. Good breakfast About 15 minutes away. By car from the Centre (Cenang Beach).

Room was a good size with separate shower and toilet. There was a TV with different movies. The area was quite a distance from beaches, this quite quiet and will need to rent scooter/car (ask the hotel) to get around. It was a really pleasant stay, will definitely come back. Be aware that the toilet door is 1 piece, so if you slide to close the toilet, the shower area will be opened.

Excellent hotel. Small cozy. Very clean rooms with smart tv. Rooms are soundproof. Pool on the roof. Restaurant serves great food. Perfect hotel for transit in langkawi as it is very close to the airport.

Very comfortable room with a great shower. The rooftop pool has nice views and beer and snacks. The breakfast was one of the better that I have had throughout SE Asia. We were in a room with little noise. The movies included were hot and miss in quality. Very close to the airport!

Service is great. Helpful staff but location is a lite out of tourist main area, thus hard to get transport (scooter rent, etc).

Very good hotel, ok. Not nearby anything but cenang is allso not realy where you want to be al the time. A cab costs allmost nothing or rent a motorbike at the reception. Bathroom could do with a plug for a shaver and some more clothes hangers on the wall would be welcome. Bed/airco/swimmingpool/service is great. For this price you won't find a better deal.

Nice new boutique style hotel. Pleasant staff, clean, fairly priced, near airport but very quiet, convenience stores below, food nearby … If you have a car, very good choice for your stay in Langkawi.

The staff are extremely helpful and lovely. The maze-like hallways were pretty fun after a while even though the air conditioning was crazy cold. The rooftop pool was a nice place to unwind and relax after their nice big spread of breakfast. Would love to return someday. (-:

The hotel is great, new and design is nice, However I asked for a wake up call they forgot about and last night they made up the room without changing the towels, the breakfast is nice and the hotel is very near to a nice Mosque, and some markets…

Very near to the airport and an average of 20 min to most of the nearby recommended restaurants that have good reviews. The hotel is new with a rooftop swimming pool. The hotel breakfast is above average. My room is very comfortable and the bed was just nice. Not too hard not too soft.

We have booked the hotel on our way back to Singapore from Langkawi and were very happy with our choice. The value for money is great as well as service. The rooms are in perfect condition and at the highteck set up which seems not even many 5 star hotels have in our days. Breakfast has enough options in case you are travelling in the morning and airport is just 5 min by car

Lovely hotel in Langkawi. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was really a very good hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the room was great, breakfast buffet was also a good spread. The best thing about this hotel is the rooftop swimming pool. Great experience. 5 star rating.

From the outside, it may not be the best looking hotel, but it is beautiful inside. The rooms, restaurant, ambience, the rooftop pool and bar. Very helpful staff. Very well done interiors.

A fantastic new hotel. Only a few minutes drive from the airport, this has everything you need; lovely and helpful staff, great buffet breakfast, excellent location and very modern rooms. I started there in Jan 2017 and I think it had only been open about a month. If I go back to Langkawi, I'll definitely stay there again.

New hotel with rooftop pool. The lobby and cafe looms very modern and upscale. Room is very comfortable with up to date facilities. Cheap but delicious local delicacies are accessible within 5 minutes walking. Dental clinic is just opposite the hotel and a licensed pharmacy is behind the hotel. Excellent.

Beautiful new hotel with all the facilities one could want. Rooftop pool has amazing views. Rooms are extremely clean and superbly styled. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. I was even offered a lift when having trouble getting a taxi. There was a minor delay on check in, probably my fault as I arrived a day late for a booking I made thru a 3rd party website. But the manager visited us with a fruit basket and an invitation to dinner, along with a sincere apology. It's already a wonderful place to stay having only been open a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to return here in the future.
