Somerset medini iskandas was the exactly place to stay. Because its completed like a home. Also the nearest place with legoland malaysia resort. And the service was nice and good.

Great rooms. Breakfast spread can be improved. Walking distance to LEGOLAND. Perfect place to stay that's comfortable and affordable.

Nice place to stay esp if you are planning for Legoland visit. Rooms are simple and neat with all basic amenities provided. Stay on a night basis is not expensive too. Legoland is just 5 mins away by walk.

Pick this hotel due to our planned visit to Legoland, very close to Legoland, just past the Medini mall, the rooms are very nice and spacious especially since there are six of us during the visit, did not try the breakfast or the pool, not much choice in term of restaurants or foods other than the ones at the nearby Medini mall.

Great accommodation. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. Room is huge, one bedroom with a living room and a small kitchen with utensils. Incl microwave. Toilet equipt with toiletries and hair dryer. 24hr amenities store just downstairs. Down side is the breakfast. Buffet with minimal selection. Additional to the picture is a bread table with cereals. Food is below satisfactory. Medini Mall is just across the road with eateries; KFC, BK, old town.

Great place to stay during Legoland visit, 700 meters to the park. The rate is incredible for family room. However breakfast and housekeeping should be improved to make this place perfect.

Very good accommodation, with full facilities. Only thing lacking would be the amenities nearby. The only place to stock up on groceries and snacks would be the mall beside it called "The Mall of Medini". Other than that if you like a quiet area of JB away from the hustle of the city, this is the place to stay. Quite empty with the exception of visitors going to nearby Legoland.

Very new facilities, room space exaggerated, there are changing rooms, kitchen utensils, even microwave ovens have, the only disadvantage is that the nearby only Lego Park and not big shopping malls, located in a quieter.

Spacious. Near to Medini Mall and Legoland. 7-Eleven nearby. Breakfast is so-so as it's held in a makeshift breakfast hall in adjacent building. Other than that, perfect.

We just checked in today and it was a real disappointment. We arrived early at 12.30pm and was told the check in is at 3pm strictly. Fine, we kept our luggages there and went to Medini Mall for lunch. We came back around 1.45pm and checked in and was informed room is not ready. We waited until 2pm and the kids were noisy, so we took the kids for a swim while waiting. At 2.45pm I went to try our luck. No luck. At 3pm I waited for 15 mins to speak to the Receptionist and was told the room is not ready. At 3.30pm it was still not ready. We were losing our patience then and finally got the room at about 3.45-4pm. The kids were tired and noisy. While waiting, I also overheard another family complaining to the staff about the problems and treatment they received. We came into the 2 room apartment and the place had a weird smell. We had to air freshened the apartment. Now we have another problem that breakfast is not provided after paying so much for this experience.

Location is good but don’t expect to have late night supper because after 8pm it’s like a “ghost city”. this apartment price is cheaper than Legoland hotel, 3 days 2 nights stay for RM400+. (24hours) 7-11 store is at level one of this apartment.

Well appointed serviced apartment. Close proximity to Lego Land. Breakfast served still need much more work in terms of environment and varieties of food. As the area is still developing (completed buildings, need more shops and people moving in). Nearest eating place would be at Medini Mall (about 5 mins walking distance away) and they closed around 9pm.

The room is clean and new, bed is comfortable and I got a high floor room with great scenery. This hotel has a large family crowd, and the swimming pool tends to get crowded. Hence plan your swimming time to avoid the crowd, e. G in early afternoon. I do not recommend getting breakfast in this hotel. Breakfast is highly disappointing for a 4star hotel. Set in a makeshift hall with makeshift carpet and tables, breakfast selection was pathetic and of poor quality. Breakfast is free and comes with room booking, hence overall I think the hotel is a decent choice especially for families visiting LEGOLAND.

Love to stay at here. Nice & clean room also warm welcoming service. My suggestion to order room only not include breakfast as the taste will not meet your expectation. Overall love this place.

Hotel is callous and apathetic with health hazards I stay in the hotel from 24th Nov to 25th Nov 2017. I took the children out for a swim in the hotel pool early in the morning at 9am. I saw a sign stating that the pool is closed from 12pm to 10pm for maintenance work, hence I assumed that it is alright for the children to go swimming as it was early in the morning outside of the maintenance time period. After being in the pool for about 45 minutes, the family was approach by the hotel staff. The hotel staff told us not to use the pool as they had put large amount of chloride inside the pool to clean and disinfect the pool. The hotel staff even honestly told us that the chloride might affect the health of the children and cause skin irritation. This hotel staff even pointed out that the pool look cloudy because they had put large amount of chloride in it. I am very upset with such callous and apathetic attitude of the hotel staff. There had been no indication of such health hazards. Also, the hotel took so long to notified us even though there had been other hotel staff walking around.

Spacious apartment and well maintained facilities. Stayed at 29th Storey, had a good view over Legoland. But don't expect the breakfast to be fantastic. Extremely little variety.

Went there with my family. We mainly liked a few things; Rooms — spacious & clean. ; Kitchen — equipments were full and clean; Landscape — beautiful place. However, a lot of things fall short. 1. The elevator doesn't work and no warning or information sign was posted. My wife got stuck in the elevator at 28th floor for a few minutes. We got to know the lift was problematic by intercom in the elevator. 2. The pool was not open from the day we checked in until we checked out (we stayed for 2 days 1 night). The kids were excited to go there to play in the pool but got frustrated. One of the reason we stayed there is for the pool. We were told it was under maintenance but nobody was working at it. 3. Master bedroom bathtub plug was stuck from the day we checked in. So water pooled when we took shower.

Our family was very satisfied at this hotel. Complete, feel like at home. Very close to legoland.

Room is clean and spacious. The hotel is right next to Legoland. The Legoland is just across the road, 5 min walking distance. Great view of the Legoland from the room balcony. on my second visit, the only thing still not on par and improve is the breakfast. The breakfast really need to be improved. The food selection is less, which is still OK. But the food this morning were cold, I mean cold. I have complained to the staff on site. I will see if the simple quality get improved.

Clean rooms, well equipped which are perfect for families. Less than 5 minutes away from Legoland makes it an alternative source of accommodation. Only downside is no dedicated F&B outlet within the residence. Only a simple continental breakfast is served for guests.

Nice hotel, nice room with a view of legoland. Walking distance to legoland. Surrounding areas are still developing which can be bit difficult (especially when you don't have your own transport) to explore for food and things to do. Nevertheless it is a nice place to chill, relax, quiet and easiest way to go to legoland.

Nice place walking distance from legoland literally across the road. They need to work on cleanliness and breakfast.

Though short, we enjoyed our time here. Instead of a 3pm check-in, the friendly staff allowed us to check in at 12:00 noon. Inside our premier studio room, I was pleasantly surprised to see china, cutlery, pots and pans, etc that come along with a serviced apartment (I thought it was just a hotel). The appliances are of good quality. The room is clean and spacious although cleanliness can still be improved (e. G. There was a pile of dust beside the microwave). Sadly, breakfast was not included in our room package but we got to dip into the pool the next day. Legoland is situated just across the street, accessible through Medini Mall. There are lots of restaurants and souvenir shops at the mall. We took a bus from there too. Highly recommended overall.

Great place for family visitors. Large and clean bedrooms, friendly staff, nice view. But the breakfast really needs improvement.

This is a great hotel. Amenities are good. 5 min walk to Legoland and 5 min drive to hello Kitty theme park. I am living in 2 bedroom apparent. My appartment is spacious. I'd it to all those who want to live in or near Legoland.

Nice clean rooms comfortable beds and location 5 minutes walk to lego land. The pool has nice view and great for the kids.

Good value for money lodgings to Lego land hotel. Walking distance to Lego land.

Large studio apartment with 1 king size bed, 2-seater sofa, walk-in wardrobe, desk cum night stand, rain shower, kitchenette, and free Wi-Fi. TV channels include HBO, Disney, etc and comes with soundbar speaker and subwoofer. Facilities include kids and adult swimming pools, gym, and kids playroom. Location is next to mall of Medini (mainly limited restaurants and mini marts) and legoland theme park. All in all, recommended cheaper alternative to legoland hotel if you visit legoland theme park and plan to stay overnight nearby.

What we went through doesn't match the expectation of the Somerset/Ascott brand. In one morning, two out of four lifts were not working. With 33 floors to serve, you could imagine the wait and chaos. And the staff was incompetent to communicate and handle matters, causing much nuisance by constantly calling our room. And then when we went to the breakfast, it concluded the whole negative experience. It was seriously under-staffed, the place was obviously makeshift, the food lacked quality and variety, and even the simplest thing of the utensils was in severe short supply. I wondered why they would even want to offer breakfast to all at all. With it, it sent their reputation down the drain.

Was there for 2 nights, nice and cozy studio hotel. Quite disappointed with breakfast tho, not many to choose from and it was quite limited.

Good thing is its walking distance from Legoland and apartment was clean. Other than that there is nothing around this hotel, no place to eat or shop near by. Their breakfast was very bad, v less items, no cutlery, slow refills and poor items selection. Forget fried eggs, omelets or sausages. I am talking about basic breakfast items missing. People were running around to find forks and spreading knives. On last day when security stopped me from taking pictures of hotel building unless I have written from management, that was it. I decided I'll not stay here again.

This is a great apartment hotel, the rooms are fully equipped with cooking utensils. The Wi-Fi connection was pretty good, it's around 5mbps to 10mbps The bathrooms are clean and modern. The bedrooms are clean as well. Since this a new building, there are not much choices of foods to pick but it's fine. The receptionists are friendly and the security guard would greet you everytime you enter. Overall, I would give it five stars.

This is a apartment hotel. If you like to cook during you stay will be great with the full equipped kitchen. Hotel provide breakfast has limited chioces of food. Pool at roof is tiny. Surrounding got only basic amenities.
