Nice room, but the lightings were not on point and the bathroom was dirty. The remote control at the cheapest room is broken.

I must say that it was even better, if that is possible. The staff was wonderful and welcoming, and helpful, and as always, with a big smile on their faces. Each time we returned to the hotel, the Bellman greeted us with a warm and friendly "Welcome Home"! So far a nice place to stay. Just problem with the water shower. The water always hot every time I take my shower & it do have a adjustment to cool down the tempature. The local TV channel for tv3 doesnt have inside the TV room channel. Too bad as I cant see the local new update.

Currently take over by new management and renamed GRAND MOUNTBATTEN hotel. With same facilities and service.

This is a great place If you're on tight budget and want privacy from a hostel dorm. The location is great, 5 minutes from MTR station that connects 3 lines and also many fast food outlets. There is also a 7 eleven shop underneath. The room design is a bit strange though, as you walk in there is a shower cubical, then a sink, then a toilet cubical and then the bed against the wall perpendicular. The TV only has 10 channels (3 being english) and is on the wall on the side of the bed. There is tea and coffee and a jug?!? The bed is comfortable but isn't the firm kind of comfortable. It slightly dips in the middle. The bed sheets were ok, few stains but nothing disgusting enough to grose me out. The room seems like it's been done with modern fittings, but actually very cheaply. You can see some bits have fallen apart (or will) and it's a bit dirty and rusty in the edges and cracks, but nothing too concerning. We stayed for 3 nights for £28 and never got room serviced once. The Wi-Fi is on and off with average speed. I was woken up on the final morning due to kids running around the hallway and banging on everyone's doors and crying. They should have a floor for families. Overall, it's average as expected but good for the price and cheapest we found in KL.

A room that accomodates four members of the family at a reasonable price, worth five thousand Philippine pesos in Malaysia as against same accomodation at eighteen thousand Philippines pesos in Singapore. The one in Singapore I rated 2 while this one got 4. The hotel is across a school, seven eleven is nearby and food chains nearby.

So, We've booked a room with jacuzzi bath, but there was no hot water. Bummer. No internet. Disgusting worn off bedsheets and pillow cases with stains. Luckily, we had couple sarongs that we put over that disgrace. Too noisy and no proper sound isolation. Across the hotel there's hobos sleeping place. This hotel is a joke.

Best budget hotel there is near Chinatown. The room service is good. Also the receptionist are also good.

The photo looks better than live. The Windows overlook the road and the way of the underground (if you open the window, the feeling that the train is going straight through your room). Water from the shower flows into the room, be careful and do not leave things on the floor. Very poor lighting, from the window of light almost no, from all this creates a feeling "like in the coffin"-dark, stuffy and damp.

Very clean and awesome place very affordable and centre to the city to visit all the main attractions. Walkable distance to flea market china town. Mcdonalds is available beside street and also ktm metro train station masjid jamek is very near to it. Free bus tourism busstop is opp to it. Finally I liked it a lot.

Nice location, near the subway and walking distance to one of the famous night markets but the room is very small. Staff is not friendly. Shower is horrible and ugly. There are better choices.

Impressive website… in reality… it looks more like a over rated hostel. Booked two premier rooms only to find missing light, missing phone, missing panel to shower area… replaced proudly with a towel. It must have been better conditions.
