Great room! Big pool. And good service. Wish they give more benefits like late check out because we stayed for 4 nights but because they are too occupied with other guests. Its full house so understandable la but 4 nights are great spending. Also after clean room often we have to ask for bath room amenities because maybe they forget to replace, its a little hassle to call every time but they send up to the room so no problem. Love the experience there!

I was locked in the ladies toilet for almost half an hour. It was not the food that cause it. Food was great, don’t get me wrong. It was the door lock but what irks me, they took such a long time to get someone to open it; and worst thing is they all left leaving the cleaner lady to handle it. To cut a long story short, I manage to free myself with pieces of wood with the help of the cleaner. Shouldn’t they have better service for a 5 star hotel?

Entrance/lobby is OK Corridor to room is terrible. Is smells badly and lots of maintenance to be done: stains, mould, loose wallpaper, loose fittings. Room is fairly clean. But toilet seat need fixed and door posts are decayed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful although communication was sometimes an issue and the pool not very well maintained. Altogether, place was clean. The location of the hotel is one of the main selling points as the restaurants nearby are amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 9 nights and we were very happy. The staff at reception was excellent friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the aircon was nice and cold. Housekeeping was great always got clean towels and extra tea and coffee. The views to the city was excellent. We stayed on the 16 floor and it was nice and quiet. Will stay there again.

Location is very good, but the building is a long time, so not very good, and the room lights are not bright enough, the ceiling does not have lights.

We are a tourist operators in South India. Last week we took 9 rooms in this hotel. Hotel was very worst in neat and clean. It smells very badly. No cleaning at all. Most of the rest rooms are very dirty and have drainage problems. Breakfast is very horrible. The only advantage is it's in Bukit Bintang. Nothing other than that.

The only good thing I saw about the hotel was the location. Apart from that I was very disappointed. On the outside, the hotel looks amazing but the room was awful. Carpets were old and dirty and not much cleaning happens under the beds. I was surprised why the hotel was still available at that relatively low rate despite the peak season but later on I knew why. Not a conspiracy theorist, but this looked like two hotels in one: a budget hotel which is actually 3 stars (or less) and one real 4-5 stars. I saw there were much nicer rooms at higher levels! I wrote a letter to management about my observations and they wrote back to me few months later asking for "another chance". No.

Normally we have enjoyed this hotel, but now getting a bit aged. Air-conditioning only mildly cool even after requesting checking. Room service gone down hill badly. No new towels until requested. Bed barely made up. No bathroom accessories added.

Nice and good place to stay. Near to Low Yat, Berjaya Times Square Located 5 minutes walking distance from Bukit Bintang junction.

It's alright. Not the greatest but comparing to the bukit bintang area they are cleaner and design is better.

The more basic rooms are in need of a renovation. The higher tier rooms are much better in conditon. One room had weak air conditioning and our newly changed room had a bad TV and moldy corners in the shower. But it equates for the room price.

First time had very bad impression the moment entered hotel. I feel like entered some mamak shop. Even the walk path to the rooms smell like very old. Royale Chulan Bukit Bintang can consider as budget hotel.

Me and my boyfriend checked-in for the first time here. Upon arrival we are totally amazed with the authentic Malay traditional architectural structure in the buzzling city of Kuala Lumpur. Inside it is the modern serenity ambience. . We are welcomed with warm sweet broad smiles at the reception. The staff were very humble and friendly which makes us much excited to stay here. . Our room 272 is flawless and captivatingly attractive. Wide, clean and equip with the required things. . The room is adjacent to the big swimming pool which urge me to jump into it. . At night the lounge comes alive with a two Filipino singers that serenade the best love songs. Maria has that soft subtle voice that made me and my boyfriend dat there for hours . Breakfast at Warisan the next morning offers varieties of local and foreign menus. Makes your tummy full. . Overall, my stay there with my boyfriend had been a memorable stay. . I do recommend to all friends and families to stay here for the best experience. . Thank to the management of Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. I am pretty sure that I will stay there again.

My day? Nothing much except I just got scolded by this aggressive staff from far away, and called me like an animal for just not turning off my car lamp while waiting at junction. I did apologize for my act but he keep mumbling bla bla bla. Hello mr. X (i know ur name from the tag), I just place a report to mgmt for your “sweet” behavior and I don’t F care how hard your day was but since you are still on duty, do your work due diligently or just get lost if you don’t like it. And yes, thank you for ruin my evening.

Quality price Excellen by going in the direction of the Panorama Pictures 600 to 700m you have Pavillion there mall to see and the Petronas Towers 540 m high. The pink buses are free for tourists.

Not bad. Service is excellent, programs offered are excellent. But this is an old hotel. The nifty "software" are being let down by the dated "hardware". There is just so much you can do before you are physically constrained by the lagging infrastructure. Hotel management should consider refurbishing the room by phases.

It seems like the Warisan Cafe's lunch hour/high-tea buffet spread is a favourite amongst retirees. The 50 percent discount offered to those above 55 yo, encourages us to spend hours of happy time here, within our budget. What is more encouraging is the spacious and well-maintained surau area just above the cafe, which enables us to enjoy the delicious buffet spread, without missing our solat.

Kudos to reception whom showed compassion upon my check-in with no ID's due to being mugged. Rooms were cosy and nice bit dated but clean. Air conditioning was not really adjustable though temperature was just nice. Overall. Good stay Good place Good affordability.

The hotel's aircon was not properly functioning hence, it was moderately warm throughout the night. There was also a strand of pubic hair found on the bed, indicating that the room was not well cleaned. The hotel overall looks very run down, however, one good point about it is that the staff that work there are extremely friendly and welcoming.

It's good in general, suitable for a small size; In the downtown center, you can walk around, is very lively.

Ok hotel. Looking as little dated but it was satisfactory. Breakfast is disappointing. Food is below average and the bed is a bit too hard. Hair dryer is tiny. I'd get more effective drying by spinning in circles. It's clean and quiet.

Location is good. Reasonable hotel overall. Although the service was good overall, I wished to extend my stay for an extra night, and had initial trouble organising this with the staff.

Bad services, some front desk staff are rude, seems like they prioritized the guest that booked the room on the spot (i booked the room via online travel app & I had to wait for 2 hours until the room is ready), and the room is too damp. The bathroom is bad (i found a lump of hair in the sink) I suggested not to stay here for a long time.

Good thing about the hotel is it's location. Very close to the walking Street of Kuala Lumpur. Lots of street food and bars. But the hotel is ageing and rooms require major renovation. I stayed there in room 1030. From the first day the ac was not working properly. There in house mechanic checked and told that the ac has a problem. I requested to change the room but they failed to do that and inform me that the hotel is full and they will check later again and inform me. But after that no one from the hotel reservation attended me.

Located right in the city center hotel is OK, clean and very nice staff. On the other hand we stayed there for more than a week, the breakfast not terrible, no croissants nor chocolate buns for children, many of the typical dish of Malaysia. Trės well located for shopping until very late. Plenty of restaurants and lots of atmospheres in the streets. Sights to visit like Petronas, Aquarium and others nearby. We were a family from Mauritius for 9 nights in 2 rooms and noticed that there were little cockroaches in the rooms, otherwise everything was spotless.

Pro's — the hotel is in the heart of the city kl. Con's — the hotel is hell for vegeterian. We were literally eating bread & cheese…! The rooms were also just ok. Ask for rooms with direct view to twin tower.

Royale Bintang Hotel is 5-minute walk from Bukit Bintang monorail station, also you can access Royale Bintang Hotel from Imbi Monoril station, It is modern hotel lies 2 km from the shops at Central Market and around 5 km from the Petronas Towers KLCC. A breakfast buffet is served in a refined brasserie. There’s a subdued cafe/bar, as well as an outdoor pool, a gym and a tropical-style spa also you can get Parking free It's rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi, flat-screens, minibars, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded units give access to a private lounge offering breakfast and evening refreshments.

Stayed for 2 nights. Location is good, comfortable, free parking and free Wi-Fi but the signal is not strong. Had problem with room key card every time want to enter the room, need to reset the key at reception counter most of the time. Overall, recommended place for a short visit to KL city, but need to improve on some services. :) cheers.

I had the privilege of staying for 3 nights in January 2016. The hotel and the staff are lovely but the breakfast and the service sucks. First of all the food ran out often and it wasn't filled immediately. One had to wait almost 10 minutes for bread. Eggs — — oh my gosh — — a nightmare. Only 1 person serving with a wait of almost 20 to 25 minutes. The cups and glasses MUST be inspected before use. Every morning I would place 3 or more dirty cups back on the tray and on the last morning, I called the manager over and showed him a cup with food particles and lipstick. The tumblers didn't fare any better. Next time I think I will stay there but eat out rather.

Room infested with cockroaches, bathtubs don't drain very well (Some rooms don't even have bathtubs). Customer service quite bad (Asked for hot water, 2 pillows, a toothbrush, blanket, extra soap cos the previous one was finished and they gave me 2 toothbrushes and a towel —. —). Also called to tell them about the cockroach problem and want to change room. They said they will send a person up to check, but none came… Otherwise, there's free Wi-Fi (luckily, it was not bad) and the morning breakfast was still okay.

Nice n wonderful room n view but the Wi-Fi signal sucks. Cant access at all. Poor signal even in heart of the city. I hv to use my own.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The bath was leaking all over the floor. By the look of the grout around the tiles this had been leaking for some time. I reported it, but nothing was ever done about it. I also asked for a bottle opener to be sent to the room but it never arrived. The one thing about this hotel was the pool. It was lovely. The location of the hotel was it's main attraction. Despite all the construction works going on around the area, my room was quiet.

The location and price are really good, from here you can easily explore all of KL on the LTR or just walk (its about a 20minute walk to the towers). The rooms are OK, but in need of a bit of a refresh, the bar is nice and actually rather cheap and breakfast was tasty. Just a trick, don't bother booking taxis through the hotel as they add on an additional 'hotel charge' of 20 myr.
