Reviews of ECO HOTEL at BUKIT BINTANG 3*
Accommodation The double bedroom was clean and reasonably spacious with enough room for bags and to move around. All of the rooms are accessed by a electronic keycard system which is quite modern! The Wi-Fi was easy to get setup on and worked very well. The personal air conditioning unit in my room was great and the remote allowed me change the temperature to suit my needs. Overall it was quite a modern and new building. Sound travelled very easily, meaning you could hear most sounds from the corridor. Location The hotel is located with a few other lower end hotels nearby but in a mainly non-touristic area. There is a 711 and a petrol station nearby (10-20 minutes walk each way) where you can get snack, etc. There is also a little food market quite close that sells local or vegetarian western food and fruit/veg shakes (5-10 minute walk each way). There is also a local convenience shop next door. I would not be too concerned about the location as Taxis are very easy to get (consider downloading the Grab app) and are cheap. Staff The staff are very friendly and helpful, all of them speak good English which makes communicating easy and as a whole they were very accommodating (late check-in, late payment due to ATM issues on my side). The front desk is manned 24/7 as far as I could tell, which made my 1am checkin and 3am checkout very easy. Facilities The showers and bathroom were clean and shampoo, shower gel, towels and (shower) flip flops were provided.
Only good part is the bathroom still new and clean. Breakfast is basically out from hotel without aircond, nothing to proper cover up the food for buffet, only 4 choices. Noises coming out from neighbors bathroom can be heard clearly. No credit card payment. Not gonna stay here ever again.
