Unhelpful. Security so stupid maybe indian or Bangladesh or nepal I think they dnt know whats mean hospitality, no hospitality in this place. Indonesia. Thailand. Korea so much better service. Malaysia the most place worst I have ever visit. The room dirty the chair. The TV omg no internet TV the internet so slow. Very bad service. Never go back again to this place.

Worst experience ever @ Dorsett KL. Cockroach found in the hotel room! RM10 charges for an extra bath towel.! Nobody picked up for room service call! Rude staff! Not recommended at all!

This is my first time have bad experience with 4 star hotel after so many time I booked with other hotel. It's wasn't a good memory on our new year and ruin my plan. I was suppose to check in at 3pm but we only get to queue up and get register at 4.30pm. Of coz I understand due to a lot of guest lining up too. After got register was told by the staff the room is not ready. I was suppose to do a surprise celebration and I need to get it done by 5.30pm. Alright fine I ask for a rough time when can it be done. The staff not able to answer. I say ok please make it asap and after 5pm still no call from the staff. 5.30pm all the birthday surprise plan was ruin by your staff. Only at 5.40pm we got our room key. Also, the front desk was super rude. Got our key enter the room … the floor is still wet. We call the janitor to help us clean it well even the janitor is giving a good service than those who at front desk. Accept the guy name I forget who help to solve our issue. You guys should hire more staff to get ready all the room. We suppose to check in 3pm but only get our room 2 hour later. I hardly complain on this kind of thing as I know everyone just doing their job. But this is too ridiculous. Also, there is stain on the bed and bathroom. With this price… I got no words to say. First and last.

Waited for 3hours for check in. 3pm till 6pm to get the room ready. Unhelpful staff with a rude attitude!

Worst hotel I ever stay for the entire on my life even the budget hotels also is not like this hotel. Unhelpful staff in cafe. Shouting at us when we ask how come we still need to wait as we already line up for already 1/2 hour. The staff told us that we can eat until 11am and and we all tk kan lapar! The service is not like even 3star hotel! Omg! please dont come here!

Review from check in process to first two hour service was a experience. Checked in is confusing as guest has to walk to next business Dorsett hotel instead. Reception does not answer any room service during day time — called for one hour with no answer, drop Facebook message for support with no luck, what would happen if there is in house guest room emergency service required? Do not consider to stay here. No Wi-Fi password provided during check in, was no able to work with laptop, TV has been dismantled for unknown reason. There are limited cutlery provided. Only liquid dish washer with no sponge to clean dishes. Room floors isnt that clean. Overall first day experience I would give a one star to Dorsett Residence service apartment, more room to improve. Really nice hotel, very comfortable room, but the breakfast was perhaps the worst I've had.

The service counter not soo friendly. Breakfast food tapau and not like hotel serve. The call centre soo difficult to pass through. Not recommended.

Only for the buffet ramadhan. The food is very2 bad, not variety as other hotel. Can't challenge other 3 star hotel where by the food is more better than you. the rest is ok.

I had the worst experience staying in a hotel.
1) No carpark available at the hotel premise where I have to park across in an opened space.
2) The hotel running full house, no social distancing practice in the hotel especially queuing for the lift.
3) The lift service all the floors with 4 pax to a lift. Have to wait 20mins at least to get into the lift as 1 family already occupied 1 lift.
4) Hotel guests swam in their tshirts and track bottoms. Staff didn’t stop them. The children’s pool has dirt on the bottom on the pool. Some black stuff laying in the pool. How dirty is that.
5) The water heater in the bathroom is not working. Has to shower with cold water in the morning and at night.
6) The fridge in the hotel room is not working. Canned drinks not even cold after one whole night of chilling.
7) Breakfast selections were simply horrible. Not justifiable for the money I paid for buffet breakfast. No assorted breads, no sausages nor bacons, food not being replenished, food quality is just awful, the chef only cooked plain omelette although the ingredients were there, no request of sunny side up, no mugs for coffee, cereals were empty. I paid so much to each fried meehoon with curry.
8) No face towels, shower caps, shaver and shaving foam were given in the room.
9) Aircond is simply not working at its best. Adjusted to the lowest temperature and still warm.

Mr. Shad and Ms. Vivian of front desk was very attentive. Puan Mas in the 4th floor was very helpful. Ms Bertha and Mr. Amreal was friendly.

Bad service. We cut short our stay at Dorset Residence. Hot water heater is slow, aircond not working well. No parking space… we found stuff from previous visitors still in the room. We don’t feel comfortable staying here. Please improve!

The suites is very comfortable, and location its easy for us to go shopping.

Reviewed for this hotel as :
1. Only 4 stars hotel in Malaysia where Guest need to pay for parking. To add salt to the wound, the paying charged is not per day basis but RM10 per entry! Expect guests to stay inside hotel after checking in?
2. Called 3 times to enquire before booking. Phone ringed but no one pick up the calls.
3. No buffer breakfasted service not stated but instead served only room serviced breakfast. Cutlery are packed included plastic fork and plastic knife.
4. Hotel lobby very stuffy.

I dont believe it’s a 4star hotel. Very slow reception, small lobby, few staff. Need to wait 3hours to get towels provided. And believe it or not, our room’s door was suddenly unlocked by another guest because they received the same room no! and it happened twice! no privacy or safety whatsoever. Plus the old and dirty sofa in the room… breakfast was so…, only 3 pieces watermelon, 1 small piece of bun, omelette with 1 spoon sausage and potatoes/rice, nasi lemak, mee soup, char koy/small pau, coco krunch/plain conrflakes and orange juice/coffe/tea/nescafe… literally that’s all they offered. 3 star hotel much better than this. And yeah because they have very limited parking so the ‘unlucky’ guest need to park at the opposite road and pay for themselves… hence I became more stressful by staying at this hotel. Not a good holiday.

Is an awesome trip worth the price paid.

Horrible service. Waited almost 2 hours before the service attendant came to check us in. The towels are not changed daily and you have to pay RM30 per change. When we visited the management staff roomon level 26, the new towels were thrown all the floor!

Very Nice HOTEL in center of city. Staff very friendly. Close to malls such as the Pavillion and close to Petrona Twin towers.
Breakfast is mainly catering to Asians and muslims. Very crowded and noisy at the breakfast facility.
Kuala Lumpur is very cheap for food, clothes and Many others things. Loads of designer shops if you can afford.

Spacious room for the whole family and staff are accommodating and helpful. Clean and quiet hotel even the location is nearby Pavillion

I enjoyed my trips 3d2n with my lovely family. Swimming pool very clean and I like the top 30th floor. Natural environment too. Beautiful scery at night. Also very familiar for those like shopping just walk around… (5⭐)

Very very good hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is 1 km from the center only. A little expensive for our taste, but it's really worth it for a few days. Everything is absolutely clean and modernized. The staff is excellent, always attentive… Very recommended.

Great stay. Very conveniently located to everything you want. Close to monorail, close to klcc, close to shopping galore and food.

Celebrated my sons first year birthday at the property. Staff were courteous to come and sing along with a cake and give a teddy bear as a gift. Very average food. Centrally locates to the shopping malls and eateries. Good view from the room if they put you up on higher levels.

Nicely decorated rooms, great location — located near to the city centre. Decent amenities with the gym, pool and sauna at the roof top but brilliant view overlooking the city.

No view room. Big and comfortable room, but unfortunately we had no view, we had a wall few meter in the front of our window. The restaurant is extremely small for such a big hotel, sometimes you need to wait in a long line to get a table. Stuff was nice and friendly. Location is good.

We loved the place… In the new building they gave us a very nice flat of 2 bedrooms and setting hall, which was very big one and very stylish. Service is nice but the check in process was too much long.

This hotel is located at a strategic location just minutes walk from the main shopping district of the city. We had a great time exploring the many shopping malls. The room we got was spacious, clean and overlooking the city skyline. The bell hop were very friendly and the counter staffs were quite helpful. Will return to stay. Breakfast was acceptable.

I has been stayed at Dorset's deluxe premier room during 3D2N (16 — 18 may 2018) with room no. 303/304 for business trip. … Actually my company choose Pulman hotel rather than your hotel. However I choose Dorsett Hotel, due to I trust with your services. Unfortunately, it's very bad experiences that I ever had : 1. When I borrow the connector from your hotel, the room service come into my room without permission to put the connector into the floor. Which is in that situation, I am while take a shower and I am not closed the bathroom door. 2. When I check out and ask help from taxi desk to find me a taxi. He told me to go to down street and stop the taxi by my self. You know what,, im bring a Big Luggage. Are serious. This is service from hotel 4star? I really mad and dispointed regarding your services. Please find attached evidence tax invoice. Thank you!

Clean and comfortable hotel, international plug a lot is very convenient, fast and cordial service, location is very good, very close to Babylon Shopping center.
The 1 lobby of Di Sheng Hotel Kuala Lumpur is G building, breakfast is on the 1 floor, dining room number, 6:00-10:30 breakfast is served.
Gym 4 Floor 24 hours Open Pool 4 floor 7 to 7 o'clock in the morning to open 2 Wi-fi password on the room card cover. 3 room card do not put together with the mobile phone easy degaussing, if you encounter the room card can not open the door, please go to the 1 floor counter to ask him to cross the card.
Room card custody is good, lost to charge.
3 Room 2 mineral water and tea bag coffee bag free, if there are other drinks or food is charged.
4 Room towel sheets and other supplies can be dirty, but if the color (such as just dyed hair, eat bamboo) and so on cannot be restored to the original, the hotel will ask the occupant to buy back. 5 go out, please walk in groups and bring the hotel business card.
Watch out for pickpockets and flying car robberies. Room 6, Room 8+ Room No.

If you have given the wrong room category then will change without problems if you do not like. Sometimes it may not be in the room of an iron or a menu and phone book, but everything is solvable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room is very clean, nice and spacious. Front desk excellent and they got complimentary parking for their customers. If the basement is full, you will be asked to park at the residence.

It's actually a 4 star hotel. The suite was neat and clean with nice washroom. Really liked their breakfast buffet with a lot of variety.

Restaurants and aparthotels.
In the essence of the area, to the department store shopping or eat food are very close, very convenient. Big push Apartment Hotel, because of the best, go out to travel to stay awesome.

Beautiful hotel. Around the corner from the bustling streets by the pavillion shopping centre. Close to the heart of the fun things happening in kl. I am bot sure if there is a swimming pool there… need to check that.

Staff very loving there and helping every time rooms were so clean and big delicious breakfast. Just love it and I promise ill be back there again!

"Not bad" hotel, at the first check in, they gave me room number 2304, but there's disturbing strong scent and buzzing sound in the wall. Fortunately they have a quick response and gave the replacement in 2607. The view is decent. Quite close to the fahrenheit mall. Worth for money.

Old hotel. Renovate few years ago. Not bad. Lobby is small. Employees are good, well behaved. Breakfast taste wasn't good though. Overall not bad experience.

It's a four star, not a five star hotel. Parking is complimentary for guests. But if you are driving a Mercedes Benz S class, or an MPV / SUV, parking might be a challenge. That's because the underground parking (which starts for guests two levels down) has very narrow access tunnels. The rooms are not bad and sufficiently clean. The bathroom fittings are slightly old but still in acceptable condition. Service could be a bit faster, but as with most places in Kuala Lumpur, there is a labour shortage. But the staff are friendly. The location is at the heart of the city with most tourist spots within walking distance.

Interesting room designs not everyone may like. Balcony and swimming pool were the key highlights for me.

Lovely place to stay. Very nice and neat finishing details in unit (at least the unit which me and my family rented). The place is near to shopping malls, there's taxi stop in front of the lobby.

Location is great and the rooms, decor and breakfast were all great. My one and biggest problem was the poor quality of the very small fitness center — other than the one treadmill every machine was broken. The swimming pool closes at 7pm which is way too early. For a hotel like this, these things should not be a concern. Fix this and your hotel will definitely be better.

Reasonably priced with an amazing location in the city! Walking distance to the malls with plenty of food places around. The breakfast buffet is amazing with an excellent selection.

Had a reunion dinner with my school mates over the weekend. The chefs were very generous on food quantity for our group of 30, and the food was soooo delicious. The waiters were super efficient too.

Hotel was decent enough. Hotel room was nice and comfy. The sofa in the room is actually a sofa bed and you can ask the hotel staff to help you convert it to a sofa bed. Great if you have kids but decided not to add an extra bed.

Nice room layout. Strategically located. There's room for improvement on the customer service and housekeeping services. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Hotel buffet breakfast is delicious. However the fish balls on the noodles are not fresh. Some day the food might be a little too salty to taste. Overall my stay here is pleasant. The hotel feels like a middle aged guy who's having a midlife crisis. It looks & feels old, but still well capable. (some younger women might even be attracted to its charm) unfortunately I got the smoking floor : (but the Internet is fast and the breakfast menu is good.

I seldom write reviews. Stayed at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur recently and thought of putting in some commendations. Have to say that looking at the many reviews here commenting service speed of the hoteliers are rather unfair. I work in a bank and have been working as a teller for a while and thus understand the poor souls standing behind the counters. Despite being pushed to the limit, these young people still kept their calm and being very professional. I have to say, well done to them. The hotel looks new albeit small lobby. Ever crowded with holiday makers. Will stay again.

Comfortable & clean room. Attentive receptionist and awesome services. Most of the amenities you require is in the room except for the hair dryer, I had to request. (Maybe they miss the one room I’m staying.

I was introduced to Dorsett brand when I visited Hong Kong in 2016 and simply loved their hospitality and service. So for the 2017 Kuala Lumpur trip the choice of my stay was obvious and they didn't disappoint. Spacious rooms, great service, best amenities and helpful front desk staff. And the best part is it's close the best shopping malls where all the branded products are available. Dont think twice book your stay at Dorsett and I am sure you won't be disappointed.

The 2 bedroom residences was clean, comfortable and had great amenities. There is a bathtub in the ensuite bedroom. Breakfast was also good. Overall, excellent stay.

Very awesome place to stay in. The staff are very attentive and caring. Services were excellent. And seeing such exciting exotic cars adds more fun to your stay.

Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. All major amenities like hair dryer, ironing board and coffee/tea were available. There was a good variety at breakfast and food was generally good. However what stopped this from being a truly wonderful stay were the little things. Receptionists were not helpful and took a lot of persuasion for them to agree to keep important materials in the main hotel safe (we were travelling as a group). They at first insisted that they had no such safe and the supervisor needed to step in. The walls between rooms were very thin and we could hear conversations and baby's crying through the walls. The lights were flickering throughout our stay and the bathroom stall did not have any shelf to put toiletries, although the bathroom itself looked beautiful. These little things take a hotel experience to a higher level and unfortunately it can also put a damper on an otherwise delightful experience.

Stayed for one night. Check in was quick. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast served was good with variety of choices. Hotel was in good location. Walking distance to Bukit Bintang Golden triangle and shopping Area. Lunch set was very cheap even cheaper than fast food restaurant nearby. Good place and value for your money.

Great hotel with a lot of facilities. Room was very clean with cozy bed you will want to sleep more. Suitable for those staying near KL central where it also come with traffic jams.

I have paid for around RM505 including tax for a room for 3 persons but the room is quite small. And the window is facing to a building which is totally blocking the view. The opposite building is so close to the hotel building, the room is something like those hotel rooms without window. Other guests came back during midnight around 1pm to 2 pm, you can clearly hear their talking and doors closing so loudly so annoying. Quite shocked that the entrance and the receptionist counter are quite small for a 5 stars hotel. But room is quite clean. Staffs are helpful. Convenient place to access to many shopping areas.

Check in was quick and easy. Staffs at the reception were friendly. New room was great too but would prefer corridor brighter as it's pretty scary at night when you are walking alone back to your room. Breakfast was okay with the basic stuffs. After all Wi-Fi is good and most importantly it's walking distance to the malls. Would definitely stay here with my colleagues and family again! Kind of value for money for the service and room I got!

Really good hotel and great location. My room was great and staff were super nice and friendly. However, breakfast was super busy and packed. Definitely not enough space/tables to accommodate for everyone. Would be much better if breakfast seating area is expanded.

Location is good, but. 1. Extremely poor breakfast, all 4 nights we stayed it was same, with same dishes. 2. Very Stingy, Low Quality and Poor Housekeeping Management, they have problem in even giving extra towels in rooms. Would really question why you need them! 3. Although one room was checked in at 12 pm but the other room was checked in at 3 pm after repeated requests 4. If you are going with kids, please stay away from this hotel 5. Rooms are comfortable, but washroom is small. 6. If you are a vegetarian, it'll be a problem staying at the hotel. 7. Staff is not friendly or cooperative for a 5 star hotel staff.

The Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur is right in the centre of Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle. The nearest railway station is located at approximately 5 km, where train services to various parts of Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand are available. This modern hotel boasts spacious and modern rooms of contemporary and elegant décor.

Very welcoming. Greeted with a smile. Newly renovated rooms. Breakfast is good, lots of variety such as sushi, prawn mee, nasi lemak, varieties of breads, fried noodle and many more to list.

From a distance it looks as if it's tall but not that wide. But come close and enter the place and you'll know it's a great place to stay. From the room's window we got a chance to see the Petrona's every now and then. It really was a good idea to stay here!

Room: I live in the twin room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very good, have a good shower head. Facilities: Room Service service was great, the Wi-Fi signal good.

When I entered the lobby itself, I could see the luxurious seats and giant flower vase which were strikingly beautiful. The staffs are very friendly as well. Loved my room which looked like a royal suite although it wasn't. Great hotel.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. Our stay was quite pleasant, but I have to applaud the customer service, as our experience was outstanding! We bought my son a box of lego to build while there, but left a bag of it in one of the drawers in the room. We realized this after we had arrived home, and got in contact to see if it was still around. Unfortunately the bag had been discarded. Management went well above and beyond and reimbursed us for the discarded bag of lego, meaning we could replace the lego and made our son one very happy boy! This truly is amazing customer service, something that I think a lot of other places forget about.

We are staying here right now (until tomorrow afternoon). The hotel is nice; the location is very good (close to many things, including monorail). We paid almost $120 for 1 night of stay, which is a bit high, considering, that the inside the room the interior is old and out of date, even though the size of room seems to be ok. Honestly, it is our strong opinion, that even 4 star hotel, such as this, can not charge THAT much. Even in NY you can get a very nice and modern hotel for less, even in midtown (Double Tree hotel for example, on Times Sq). Otherwise, the place seems to be ok in many respects (except we didn’t try their restaurant, since we are always eating out). The surprising thing is — in order to use the Wi-Fi, you have to pay. This is really amazing, considering the fact, that we have stayed in the nearby hotels for $50-60 a night and the internet there was always FREE.

Here is a hotel that does not deserve to benefit from being in the 'golden triangle'. It is the leaden weight of a fine location. The issues are excrutiatingly rude staff (uttering abusive words in languages other than English), Fawlty-Towers-like management that doesn't deliver, terribly inedible breakfast buffet with yoghurt served like glue, creepy musty corridors out of 'The Shining', rooms with multiple dysfunctions like aircon that freezes you to death and its temperature can't be changed (tip: turn it off using the control panel, if it still works), internet that is expensive AND does not work (hotels without complementary internet declare themselves ready for extinction in 2013! ) and hot water supplies so erratic workmen had to be called in to fix it. You can — and will — do better. You certainly can't do worse.

Location is very good for shoppers. The hotel is very near to Bukit Bintang. Hotel itself is pretty standard.
