Main Stream Beach Villa

Well, we liked how you decorated our room befitting the situation we were in (honeymoon). We also particularly liked how your staff managed us. So polite. There is Mary, so polite and professional. She made us feel home.
On another another, you need to diversify breakfast menu. We ate the same things almost everyday and it din't really feel impressive.

Everything is perfect; awesome hospitality, nice rooms suitable for everyone and quiet environment. We enjoyed the boat riding!

Great place. Got some weird e-mails after leaving. I got a dinner menu where pasta was listed 10 000 MWK, when I pointed out I’ll have pasta the lady brought out another menu with only pasta at 27 000 MWK. Strange.

I had a nice relaxing stay. The private beach area was bigger than I expected, I spent a lot of time soaking up the sun. Great view from the veranda, which was a nice place to have breakfast. Bruce and Irina were great hosts, friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond on my first night as I arrived extra late from the Ilala. I had a laid-back, relaxing couple of days. The butter fish was as nice as other reviews said it was. I'm glad I decided to spend 2 full days here. I definitely recommend Main Stream Villa and I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area. I wish I had brought a flag with me to add to their collection!

The setting is very beautiful, the lake and the beach are perfect. Very kind and friendly service, great coffee, great food, especially the butterfish. The shower could do with an upgrade, the water pressure is very low. Unfortunately we did not have running water from the afternoon of our second day 🤦. The power outages we have become used to in Africa, but the running water that was the first 😉

AC did not work, lots of aunts in the room and we waited a very long time for our food.

Mainstream villa beach villa has 2 amazing assets, Irina and Bruce, they absolutely ensure your stay to be unforgettable. Place and price are definitely worth a visit. Perfect for bigger groups or a private getaway with friends. The place has a good vibe, it's now my favorite place to stay in Senga Bay. The great thing is that you feel like at home, with games and a free choice to do what you like. The private beach and garden are great to chill. If just for a weekend or longer stays, The Main stream villa is the way to stay. Also Bruce and Irina are great guides and can help you with literally anything, which is great for solo travelers or events, since they have a minibus ready to bring you anywhere you like.

Great place. Great service. Very photogenic place. Away from the town but many hiking and water sport options available. The right place if you are planning to spend a long weekend. Great hosts. The staff is very well trained. Delicious food.

This lodge is a work in progress and evolving into a special space in Salima. The lake location is wonderful and tranquil away from the bustle of the main Senga Bay village. The owner is on site and always happy to help — making your stay comfortable and informed. The rooms are quiet, clean and well equipped. The food is incredible — a breakfast to set you up for the whole day, grilled fish dinners, local staples as well.

A place where one will appreciate value for money. I loved how welcoming and warm hearted the staff members were, with a good service delivery. The owner was so helpful in many ways as this was my first time visiting this area. I enjoyed the butter fish, something to drool on. Definitely to pass by next time I visit Salima.

I was there with my husband for a honeymoon and it was a perfect place to be. They made me a very nice mock tail since I and my husband don't drink alcoholic beverages. The butter fish was wooooow! Not to talk more on the rooms… It's a must to visit this place again. The owner is so friendly and helpful even the staff 🙌

We had an awesome stay at this villa. The check in was easy, the rooms were clean and well ventilated with A/C. I brought my entire family on this vacation and we didn’t have to share bathrooms which was nice. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional; You could tell they were trained well and they are genuinely nice people. We ate all our meals here for 3 days, the food was delicious, fresh and full of flavor though a little late. The chef was able to prepare a cardiac + diabetic diet for my grandmother which was above and beyond my expectation. The beach was private and not crowded, it has picture perfect spots too. This villa is a 10/10, the grounds man washed our cars out of courtesy: we were truly stunned by the outstanding service. Will definitely visit again, I recommend it.
