Select Hôtel

Reviews regarding the staff are mixed: while some guests describe the team as very friendly, polite, and helpful, others found them indifferent or unpleasant. Guest experiences also varied during booking errors or room unavailability. In one instance, management handled a water leak professionally by arranging alternative accommodations. In other cases, guests encountered issues with their reserved rooms not being available, which was perceived as unprofessional and lacking customer respect.

Feedback on the on-site restaurant is mixed. Some guests were delighted by the wide selection of dishes, food quality, and reasonable prices, highly recommending the grilled fish. Room service and poolside dining are also available. On the other hand, there are complaints about poor food quality (such as undercooked potatoes and tough steak), incorrect orders, and rude service staff. Breakfast may be included in the room rate, though in some instances, guests had to travel to a partner beachfront hotel to have their breakfast.

Rooms at Select Hotel are described as modern and spacious, with many guests praising the cleanliness and quality of the bed linens. However, there are also negative reviews citing dust, dirty mirrors, stained sheets, and lingering cigarette odors. Amenities include air conditioning (which may not function perfectly in all rooms), Wi-Fi, TVs, and hot water showers. Some guests reported bathroom leaks and missing shower curtains. Electric kettles are available in limited quantities upon request at reception.

Wi-Fi is available in the rooms, restaurant, and pool area, though some guests experienced an unstable connection or lack of signal in their rooms, noting that internet access only worked well at the reception desk. Power outages occasionally occur, leading staff to advise guests to keep a flashlight handy. At the same time, other visitors noted the presence of a backup power generator that helps mitigate blackout issues.

The hotel features a clean swimming pool equipped with sun loungers. Guests can also take advantage of the laundry service, which is noted to be affordable and prompt, with clothes dropped off in the morning ready by evening.

The hotel is suitable for families, offering adjoining family rooms with comfortable beds. The atmosphere is generally quiet and peaceful, though it may occasionally be disturbed by generator noise in rooms situated nearby. Please also note that alcohol is not sold at the hotel or restaurant, though guests are permitted to bring and enjoy their own beverages in the outdoor areas.
