The food was not good 😑, everything was bland
But on the other hand very pretty the decoration and the waiters are taking care even if they are not very pro 🙂

Very nice décor, very friendly staff, excellent food.

We celebrated a birthday and everything was prepared perfectly. Warm welcome and decoration to fall to the ground for lovers of antiques.

It is rare to find a place like " La Varangue ". I have been particularly impressed by its decoration which has a little brought back in the past. It is really beautiful!

Great eclectic, old school French place in Antananarivo (Tanna). A lot of old things to see like: Cars, Guns, Musical instruments, etc. Nice seating outside. We ate there at night and you get some great views of the city. Though it seems like a formal setting, it really isn't. The food is good and surprisingly in expensive, due to the currency exchange. I didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant. The wait staff is very professional in an old school way. Great dining experience in every respect. I had the a local seafood dish, which was excellent, but the best thing was the dessert tray, a variety of small samples of fantastic French desserts.

In a museum like setting the staff makes you feel welcome and at home from the moment you come in. The menu offers a good variety of dishes. The fish carpaccio was delicious and the zebu filet just perfect.

Fantastic cuisine, quaint accommodation, and unique decor. If not staying at the hotel, having a dinner at the restaurant is a must!

The best restaurant in Antananarivo. After dining in the top 3 restaurant in Antananarivo, I can say that this is the best restaurant and this includes all, the food, the ambiance and service. The foie gras and steak were amazing and the service as well.

The best memory of Antananarivo. It's hard to find good food in the capital and the price-quality ratio is excellent. The service very attentive and friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere. I recommend to call to reserve before you go.

Quirkily decorated restaurant that serves decent food. The service was very good good and we had an enjoyable meal. As everywhere the wine is very expensive, but luckily they accept payment cards here.
