Sunset Lake hostel Hostel

I'm not alergic on luxury but I just needed this, great hosts even in 5am… thanks for everything :)

A great place to stay, what makes it amazing is how friendly and nice the two brothers that run this place are! Their patience and kindness is a true reflection of Macedonian friendliness. The only little problem was that it can be a little loud until midnight or a little over. Problem for light sleepers like me. But still over all very comfortable.

My friend and I stayed at Sunny Lake for 4 nights in August 2018, and I can honestly say it's the best hostel I've stayed at in terms of good vibes and good times. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, there's a hostel-wide social crawl every night so you can go out every night if you want to, the backyard and patios make for fantastic social spaces, and of course Lake Ohrid itself is very beautiful. Cheap, fun, beautiful, what more could you want?

The best atmosphere of all Ohrid!
If you go with a group of friends big it is worth spending quite a few days there.
The hostel is very original and super well located. They have a terrace where to relax and where they let us leave the backpacks and rest before leaving although we did previously checkout.
The bathrooms could be improved quite a bit, but otherwise we would repeat without hesitation!
Jocko, the hostel owner, is very friendly and we were invited to go out and join the group without any problem. It's great!

It's definitely the best place to stay in Ohrid — home chill atmosphere, breakfast, bikes, good location and nice people. Already planning to come back!

Best Hostel ever! It's absolutely worth visiting this city and especially this Hostel! So cheap, great location and best host in the world! We will visit again :)

Greeted by Jocko and his friends immediately when I arrived. I didn't have a reservation. Jocko got me set up quickly and gave me a list of all the best places to see and suggested good bars for nightlife. Had a fantastic time. Breakfast was solid; bread, jam, butter, chocolate spread, pastries, coffee, and tea. Full kitchen with oven. Balcony was a nice spot to relax and read with a view of Lake Ohrid. Highly recommend this hostel. Cheers Jocko and Bastard!

I can only recommend this hostel, the owner is amazing, he is really helpful and friendly. He makes the best garlic dip for sure! He even gave us a bar of chocolate for the long drive we had ahead of us :) The location is great, the view on the terrace is the best during breakfast. I would only stay here in Ohrid!

Cheap, super friendly staff, super clean, you can wash these clothes for free if you stay 3nuit, otherwise it's 5euros, top to party!

An inn with a great atmosphere. The reception top and the prices correct. The kitchen is clean. The rooms a little more average. Still a very good address.
