I had a terrible experience with the owner, named Philippe. He was completely drunk, tried to kiss and force another guest (a danish girl), slapped her when she has refused and threaten me to death when I took her défense. We both decided to leave at 1 am in the morning, straight to the police, and the hospital. We heard that the day after that, he sent his own mom to hospital. This guy is crazy and dangerous. Stay away from him and from this place, despite it’s a nice one with a great staff.
I had a horrible experience with the hostel owner. Essentially, we went to the beach with a group of people from the hostel and he was hitting on me even though I told him I had a boyfriend. I went for dinner by myself and he tried to come with me and then sent me messages during asking if he could meet up with me. I snuck back into the hostel after dinner. He came and woke me up in bed at 1 am, obviously drunk, rambling and swearing, he even tried to get into bed with me. After he left me alone, I couldn’t sleep because I was so scared he was going to come back. I really wouldn’t take the risk to stay in this hostel if you are a solo female traveller.

We booked 10ppl room with balcony via Airbin, at host named Filip. First of all, we did not get to meet Filip, which is a shame, because I found positive opinions about him as hostel's host and owner and maybe with him present our feeling would have been totally different. Unfortunately, even though we have booked 10 people bright room with balcony, the receptionist took us to dark, basement-like rook with old furniture, totally different from one in the offer (one from the offer I think is the one next to reception desk, looked much better). On the top of that, we wanted to have a private room (that's why I was looking for a place via Airbnb…), but it occurred there was a girl alreay lodged at the room we got. I have complained about it, I was told "we do not have private dorms", but a girl was moved to another room. Then once we met her he told us "I heard you have expelled me from my room" — not cool that staff put it that way… The shower next to our room had only cold water — nobody told us once showing us around. Hostel's staff were partying until late hours, which made them totally useless in the mornings (they were either sleeping on sofas next to receptions in common area or just looking like zombies). Once we asked for a map of Galchica Park, we were waiting for it for one hour and half (a guy never came back with the map, we left, next time we met him he did not even mention a word about map).
