Riviera Hotel Macau is a top rated (4 stars) Hotel in Macau. It features largely a Chinese clientele of visitors from the Mainland. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with all the facilities one would want to ask for. Internet is good. Restaurant is excellent with good Chinese cuisine. Breakfast buffet is excellent too. africasiaeuro.

Noise is particularly poor, downstairs restaurant order a fried rice, waited for one hours not to come, a reminder again urge, basically eat, management obviously very big problem!

Accommodation quality is very good hotel, window overlooking the Macau tower, the drawback is some distance from the city, but fortunately the hotel has shuttle bus, make up for this deficiency.

On the morning of September 13, 2017, I mined this hotel as it seemed value of money and was the nearest one to my business venue the following day. When I checked in in the late afternoon and asked for a single bed rather than the only twin-bed room that I reserved, the nice staff at the reception upgraded me to this red room which I liked. Although the hotel design was traditional (China's Premier Kiang frequented it twice), the hotel management is smart to use smell in the floor corridor to lure sensuous customer loyalty!

The hotel is on the hillside
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the pier, and it will dock several hotels in the same group.
The bus is only 9th.

Quite a fancy location for my staycation in Macau. So tranquil and vivid.

Nice hotel — clean, comfortable, well maintained, good views over the water and of the Macau tower. Some rooms have big terraces. The location is perfect for seeing less visited parts of old Portuguese Macau.

Quiet, calm, cosy place to stay.

Very mixed feelings. Great view of Macau Tower and the water. Away from the main hustle and bustle of the casinos, so rather quiet. Booked through Agoda and their advert is very misleading with incorrect photos of the room and misinformation about airport shuttles which they don't actually offer. We were upgraded to a room with a double bed after complaining about the two single beds we were originally given, but the room smelt damp and musty. The hotel did not respond to my email queries or my Agoda request about transport. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good with a combination of eastern and western dishes. Excellent places to run around the hotel.

This stay was introduced by a friend to come over, so booked a room in advance, check done soon, the decoration of the rooms is modern, very warm and very natural, big enough, there is no pressure in the room can also look to the Macau Tower, night quiet, nice, the only downside is there is no free shuttle bus!

I liked it. But a bit remote. Some part of the hotel is under renovation. Good rooms and buffet breakfast.

The hotel is comfortable enough if you are on a tight budget but the location is poor. The hotel is located far from the historical sites and there are no stores, or restaurants anywhere. The hotel itself is old and, to my opinion, is due for a makeover. Overall, the place is ok, but unless you plan on a lot of walking, I don't recommend it.
