Auberge De L’Our is a charming family run hotel on the bank of the Our river and in the heart of Vianden. The restaurant has a panoramic view on the village's medieval castle. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property. The rooms either overlook the river or the old city with its St. Nicholas Church. They have a flat-screen TV. The restaurant serves traditional Luxembourgian cuisine with French influences. There is also a lounge and terrace bordering the river where you can have a light lunch or a romantic dinner for 2. ➜ Very good establishment, nice to eat at the water's edge. Simple but tasty meal for all tastes.
➜ Vianden is a charming village by the river, and this hotel is centrally located right in front of it. The restaurant offers a great view over the river and the castle, even more beautiful is the outdoor terrace directly on the water. The food was OK but too expensive. The room was nice, we slept well.
Service? The best was a young apprentice. This is the time of the day. We were swept from both the terrace and the restaurant. Until 20h must be ordered, from 22h is layer in the shaft. We had to take our bagger to the hotel Victor Hugo, where it was very nice. Parking lot let alone a garage for the mopeds are false indication. The sunrise to the room has Jugendherbergscharm, a towel was totally filthy, in the corners of the ceiling hung spider weaving. The breakfast was very poor and was only involuntarily replenished, the Italian coffee machine was not turned on and there was filter coffee from the can. The house has potential, which is unfortunately not used by the crew.

Overall, we expected more from this restaurant with a really nice terrace:
— Dirty beer glass was not really clean even after complaint. Aperitif was served to us in a larger snap glass for a whole 6€. The lettuce leaves were withered. The waiter gave french to understand what proved not to be entirely true.
+ The meat was semi-raw but of very good quality,
the homemade fries delicious, as well as the vegetables.
Sauces were only brought on request and in plastic bags.
For 77€ not recommended despite the little positive aspects.
