Butenas Hotel Tyla

Yes, the hotel has a medium-sized enclosed parking lot. One guest described it as fairly spacious.

The staff is described as attentive, friendly, and professional, with many speaking several languages. However, reviews vary: while some guests felt welcomed as if among close friends, others encountered indifferent and disinterested service. It is also mentioned that not all staff members speak Russian; communication often takes place in Lithuanian and English.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and generally receives very positive reviews. The menu includes fried eggs, sausages, porridge, cheese, and three types of cold cuts. Several guests found the breakfast delicious and exceeding their expectations, although one visitor noted that the breakfast coffee was not very good.

The restaurant serves national cuisine, with guests particularly praising the cepelinai with sauce and the overall food presentation. Many guests describe the food as delicious and the restaurant as excellent. However, there are also sharply negative reviews reporting long wait times (up to 2 hours), cold dishes being served, and poor quality of the octopus, ribs, and kugelis.

Yes, two complimentary bottles of water are provided in the rooms.

The soundproofing in the hotel is considered poor. Guests report hearing everyone coming and going in the hallway, and the wooden floors easily transmit all sounds. There are also mentions of noise from loud groups in the gazebos after 11:00 PM, as well as noise from staff operations or music beneath the windows.

Opinions on comfort are divided. Some guests find the beds comfortable and the rooms cozy and clean. Others complain about uncomfortable beds and pillows, as well as a general lack of upkeep in the rooms, including dust, cobwebs, and spiders. The "Standard" rooms with sloped ceilings offer ample space and are equipped with a desk, wardrobe, and TV.

The hotel offers rooms with views of the lake, as well as front-facing rooms with views of the river.

Most guests note that the rooms are clean and tidy. However, there is a critical review mentioning dirty rooms with cobwebs and unkempt grounds with an overgrown, murky canal.

Some rooms (specifically the "Standard" category) do not have air conditioning.

Guests are provided with slippers, bathrobes, a hairdryer, and individually packaged shampoo, body wash, and soap. The bathroom is equipped with an electric heated towel rail for drying clothes.

There is no elevator in the hotel, so guests must use the stairs to reach the upper floors (such as the third floor).

The hotel features a sauna and a small swimming pool. Guests appreciate the pool reservation system, which allows one room to have exclusive, private access for an hour. Some guests noted that the pool water can be on the cooler side, though refreshing after the sauna. It was also noted that the steam room door needs repair due to a gap that allows heat to escape.
