Hotel Centras in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Hotel Centras located, and how easy is it to reach the city center?

The hotel is located right in the city center, so there are no issues with transportation access. Guests highlight the convenient location, which makes it easy to get around the city.

How does the front desk operate, and how polite is the staff?

Opinions regarding the staff are mixed. Some guests describe the service as excellent, polite, and responsive, noting the bartenders' work in particular. However, there are serious complaints regarding the incompetence of younger employees who were rude, laughed at guests, and ignored greetings. The check-in process is rated as fairly good, but an advance deposit may be requested when booking by phone.

Are there any hidden fees or payment specifics at Hotel Centras?

One guest encountered a situation where, after paying via Booking.com, they were asked to pay for the stay again in cash upon check-in. It is also mentioned that an additional fee may be charged for breakfast.

What kind of breakfast is offered at the hotel, and what is its standard?

Breakfast at the hotel is ordered in advance by choosing one hot dish, one cold dish, and a beverage. Serving times depend on the day of the week: from 8:00 AM on weekdays and from 9:30 AM on weekends. According to guests, the breakfast is quite modest, but the portion size is sufficient.

What is the quality of the cuisine at the hotel's restaurant?

Reviews of the food are highly conflicting. Some guests praise the meals, describing them as delicious, with fast and well-coordinated service. Others report poor quality: undercooked pizza that had to be finished at home, bland broccoli and cauliflower soup that seemed \"watery,\" and even stale cutlets and wine containing fruit flies. It is also mentioned that certain dishes, such as pork, can be tough.

What amenities are provided in the rooms, and how well are they equipped?

The rooms are described as clean, neat, pleasant, and tastefully furnished. Tea, coffee, and sugar are provided in the rooms. However, guests note the absence of refrigerators in superior rooms, which can be inconvenient on hot summer days.
