Mountscape

I recently stayed at Mountscape, and unfortunately, it was the worst chalet experience I’ve ever had. We arrived at 1:53 PM, but the room was not ready, and cleaning continued until 2:10 PM. This delay was unprofessional and set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The staff member who handed us the room keys was extremely rude. The rules were unreasonable—no music allowed—and when we played it quietly, we were shouted at. There was no air conditioning in the room, which made our stay uncomfortable, especially in warm weather.
The facilities were far below expectations:
• The pool was very small.
• The beds were uncomfortable.
• There were too many insects, even inside the room.
• No BBQ area was available, despite being a common feature in chalets.
• The lights were turned off at 12:45 AM without warning.
When checking out, the same staff member did not ask about our experience or satisfaction; she only seemed concerned about collecting payment.
I visit chalets often, and this was by far the worst experience. Poor service, inadequate facilities, and unfriendly staff made it a place I would never return to or recommend.

This is the first getaway we book that has weird unannounced rules.
Once you check in you will be surprised by the following :
1 — No cooking or frying in the chalet (no utensils already for that)
2 — Outdoor Lights go off at 12:45 which contradicts the purpose of getaways with friends.
3 — No privacy whatsoever (people (owners and clients) are always around you till 9 pm)
4 — No private barbecue area (you have to get the utensils from owners to grill. Not allowed to grill near the chalet must grill on the road)
5 — No airconditioning and the fans are barely enough.
6 — Pool jets and waterfall are turned off randomly since they consume electricity according to the owners.
Not recommended at all :)

Worst experience ever, worst costumer service. They only care about money and they don't mind about the costumer satisfaction. I used them for more than 2 years it was very nice but now things changed. I have never met costumer service like they have. And the surprise was that the one who was making the deal with me is the owner 😂

It is one of the best places to spend a holiday, nestled in the heart of a rare mountainous region where peace and breathtaking nature prevail. The place features beautiful, clean accommodations equipped with all modern comforts, including a private pool for some of the units. The hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful, not to mention the delicious food offered — especially breakfast, as most of its ingredients are organic.
Highly recommended.

This place was marvelous! From the location to the cabins to the owners! We cant speak enough of the hospitality of Tante Nada. The rooms are super clean you can smell the freshness of the bedsheets a mile away.
We rented the mini deluxe villa, and by far this is the most complete full filing experiences of all!
For sure, there will be a next time.

We booked this place for a group of 10 and spent the day there on Sunday. We had a wonderful time, and the kids had so much fun.
The staff were kind and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly and that we had a great day. You also have the option to stay overnight and the rooms are very clean and well equipped.
There’s also a restaurant on-site with delicious food and excellent service.
Highly recommended!

Best vacation we ever had. Amazing location, the cleanest hotel I have been to in Lebanon. Amazing host. Super generous and helpful. My family, we are 5 have fit into the chalet with comfort and the breakfast was exceptional. Wifi and hot water were top. We are surely going back there again. Chapeau Mountscape.

10/10. An amazing location with breathtaking scenery. The hospitality and service are exceptional, making you feel right at home. The food is also delightful; don't miss the fattoush by tant Nada and the pizza by their US experienced chef.

Impressive quiet peaceful place, very clean, madam Nada and Alaa very kind and generous people, we go there every month, still our best place to refresh.

I love the place… fresh and pure air.
You will enjoy every single moment listening to different birds'species in an area surrounding by trees. The owner madam Nada is very kind and always tries to fix all problems.

Stay away if you want a hotel experience.
Its fine for basic accommodation, but not for that price.
No receipt given for the room and though paid in dollars no change available in dollars.
No drinking water in the room.
No firewood (wait till October).
No guest amenities in the room… shampoo is from a dispenser but poor quality.
No kleenex in bathroom.
Towels are as hard as a board.
Bed is ok.
Smaller of 2 rooms has no bedside table and no bedside light, wall paint damaged.
No TV channels work other than free to air.
Paintwork in the main area of the chalet is visibly damaged and peeling.
Carpet has multiple burn holes.
Garden furniture is in poor condition.
Dinner tray is not cleared, asked to keep it inside with us till morning as No-one is available after 8pm.
Breakfast starts at 9am but don't expect to change anything because the food comes from somewhere else.

Generally a poor experience that is way overpriced for what you get.

In the middle of nature, and most serene and quiet place you can imagine. A very cute duplex chalet surrounded with greenery and roses. Night temp drops to a cool 16 degrees in the middle of July absolute bliss for us running away from a heatwave! The owners are fantastic, generous and love what they do which makes the whole difference. If you are coming here expecting a family/friendly down to earth service and love nature, complete quiet and chirping birds this is the place for you. Amazing lebanese breakfast in the morning and a great hike at the stunning cedar reserve later from the Ain Zhlata entrance to the Cedars, was magical. You can either chill in the garden all day if you need piece and quiet or if acrive, go for the hike. Even if a beginner do not miss visiting rhe Cedars, it's unmatchable.

We visited with our friends this weekend. The managing lady was nice and helpful. However the rest of the experience was not.
We booked a chalet for 8 people, it turned out it can barely accommodate 6.
The space is much smaller than the pictures and wasn't very clean.
The utensils were not prepared to suffice our number, we had to ask for additional things (plates, cups, forks and other) from the restaurant. In addition, 1 very small plate of hummous is for 35 000, very small quantity and high price.
There were too many bugs, and cats filled the place, even though pets aren't allowed on premises. The garden wasn't well lit, we couldn't see, it needed more lighting than one projector.
The mattresses were not comfortable to sleep on and the Wi-Fi was very bad.
Unfortunately, we didnt enjoy our stay.

Great and peaceful. Nature at it's best. Never disappointed.
Now they deliver great pizza. Priced right and delicious.
