Very clean hotel with nice location with professional and friendly staff. The rooms were a bit small (even their biggest suite) and the hallways between the rooms did not have air conditioning!

Rooms are OK and if you want to be in hamra then location is great. However the food served here is really basic and you have to pay extra for a coffee in your included breakfast. Much nicer food available close by.

Its located right in the heart of city so you can feel everything from city soul.

The Room was spacious and well-lit, the bathroom had a hairdryer and everything was very clean. The bed was wide and comodisima! The breakfast very varied and all bread and pastry) that's always fresh. Attentive staff. It is located 1 block from Hamra street, where there are cafe, restaurants and supermarkets. Come back without a doubt.

Nice hotel, in the semi-central Hamra district, 10 minutes from the sea and in a nice shopping area. Excellent rooms, breakfast buffet both salty and sweet, with excellent fruit. Also the buffet for dinner is good. Very friendly staff.

It is an excellent hotel for the money, the only downside is air condition, very hot rooms in the middle of February, no way to adjust the temperature.

Theynincreased the prices but lowered down the services and staff attentiveness.

It's a new hotel with a great location in hamra area.

One of the best location in downtown Beirut. Many restaurants and shops nearby, all can be done by foot. They have a parking lot structure, however paid separately. Rooms are ok and all new but small… for a weekend stay its okay. Nice breakfast also included.

Nice hotel, good rooms and price.

Near el Hamra street "the sleepless joyfull streat in beirut " five minutes away from the Rosha sea sidewalks. The place is quite clean well organized and with good value for money. The food is regular. The reception guys are cooperative. You can enjoy the free Wi-Fi both in the lobby and the rooms. Good choice.

The deal is: room upgrade vs. Excellent rating. Seemed to work for me, although the staff seemed — over all — a bit uninterested (safe fixed etc. ). Baddest surprise in the end: us being falsely accused of stealing a scale (?! ) from the room? Beg your pardon, a scale? Haven't seen one in the room, Gems should better talk seriously to their housekeeping.
Of course I know that guests do misbehave, but I definetely definetely didn't come to Lebanon to take away their scales. It was so ridicilous I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry when we even had to open our luggage. All in all the least experience you need. A professional acting staff makes a hotel real great — sorry Gems, you missed the chance, there are plenty of good places in Beirut, no way again
(Btw no excuse from the management by now — am I surprised? No)

Excellent service for price ratio. Very clean, conenient, friendly, and strategic location.

Stayed at Gems for 4 nights early June and I very nicely surprised. Clean, New, and very bright overall. I was upgraded to a junior suite without even asking, The breakfast is really good with choices that you would expect in Lebanon. Even Foole was served. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom gadgets were complete. They even provided a fruit basket and Maamoul. If you are staying in Beirut close to the AUB and Hamra then a great place to be and a good price too. The only thing is that may be they should give priority to Hotel guests when there is a function. The place was full with guests from outside smoking Argileh and we could not find a spot although we were staying at the hotel. The reception staff could use more smiles and be a bot more friendly. Visited from Toronto so may be our service standards here are a bit higher. No rooms views obviously but expect that if you are in the city. Jamal.

Absolutely amazing experience This is my second time experience to stay in Gems Hotel and what I can say is that everything was again so perfect. The service is perfect, always available to help and warm, the receptionists were very welcoming and extremely friendly. They helped my quests who came early to receive their rooms and responded to all their needs in a very professional way. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The location is also very close to everything you desire. Overall the hotel is very great and I would highly recommend it.

The room is fine. Large and comfortable bed. Good breakfast, no bragging. The worst, two pubs on the same street that make a lot of noise. Even with the double window you hear the Pumba — Pumba. If you're tikismikis, you better go to another area.

It's clean and tidy the stuff are friendly and helpful, this my first day here and they were so kind while I am checking in, I like the idea that there is a mini kitchen in my room.

Perfect hotel, very central, quiet street surrounded by the best pubs, restos and lounges. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and cozy.

Actually in heart of Beirut and if some one like drinking there is so much pop bars around you and actually clean, their staff respect and prices affordable,

Really nice appart hotel with nice rooms and service. The hotel is really new so there are still some minor adjustments to bring but in overall a great experience: great buffet for breakfast, nice facilities and very well located to go out at night.

Gems Hotel is a gem in hotels. Amazing place, sparkling clean and very comfortable. And the upgrade made it perfect. Thank you for the good experience. Wish you the best.
