Byblos Sur Mer - Hotel

Beautiful spot, but the room design was off — the toilet was separated and not great. Service was okay, food didn’t live up to the setting. Could’ve been better overall. Also theres no pool to refresh.

Peaceful restaurant with a great view to the sea. Very tasty salad pizza, and the service was good too.

I went to an engagement party held at the venue on the ground floor, the place is very nice and has an old time lebanese charm, the food was very good, they have a range of sea food related dishes, and the staff were nice and quick.

Byblos sur mer: a big name that does not suit the hotel.
5 Stars: a high and loose rating for a hotel that deserves a quarter of a non-luminous star.
My first bad experience after hundreds of reservations around the world, I want to share it with everyone:
Parking: Your car is in the sun on the road all day.
Private Pool: You have to get out of the hotel and walk along the road to find a pool smaller than a water tank not even full and unclean.
Private Beach: There is no private beach.
Free Cancellation: You pay 50%, and after canceling the reservation, the money evaporates no refund.
Beautiful pictures on Google and a nice lady who unfortunately tells you all the incorrect information Before the reservation and if you want to cancel the reservation, there is no one to respond to you.
Cheating and stealing.

I would highly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Lebanon specially looking for a clean hotel with beautiful view on the Mediterranean sea. This hotel is close to old souq which is one of town attractions, less than 30 minutes to Batroun, and 45 minutes to center of Beirut.

last sunday, i had lunch at azra'a restaurant :
i was very disappointed : the place/table was not very clean, the service was mediocre / the women of the toilet was rude / the prices are too high.
quality of food was still ok.
you should improve all this.

4 stars is just because of the 24 hour generator noise, and the waiters at the breakfast weren’t very friendly. Otherwise, the reception staff were very nice and helpful.
The sea view is absolutely beautiful!

Excellent hotel and very comfortable beds. I loved the direct access to the sea across (it’s not a beach but steps into a safe swimming cove, so not suitable for kids) the road. I felt very safe and all the staff I came into contact with were great. Unfortunately I had to cut my stay shorter than intended as the bar across the street was very loud into the early hours. The staff were very attentive and pleasant about me needed to curtail my trip.

Just visited last week and all I can say is WOW. The hotel is very clean, well designed, and service/staff was excellent and friendly. Location of the hotel is perfect for visiting Byblos. Had a room by the water and view was incredible. Yes, there is a lounge located right in front of the hotel and music is a bit loud, but didn't bother us at all. Once the balcony door is closed, you could barely hear it. Hotel has a very nice summer vibe and I will definitely be staying there again. As mentioned, staff is excellent, helpful and very understanding. There were no issues with check-in or check-out (late check-out). They also provide beach towels if you need them. Lastly, the breakfast is incredible, great food, great views. Can't complain at all, we loved it!

Everything, the food, the mood and the scenery a place you can spend a week without using your car.

Best escape place from Europe, always a pleasure to be back and this since the eighties.

City full of history. Beautiful location. Good atmosphere. Very romantic. Ideal for weekends.

We were having dinner on Saturday 12 February celebrating Valentine. First of all the waiter came with an open bottle of water to serve us. Second the food was cold so we couldnt eat a thing. Third the wine was not refrigerated and so I had to wait for the waiter to serve me instead of kreping a bottle on each table. I wad shocked.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. First two nights I had the bidet not functioning dispute my complaint to the front desk and to the manager. At the end I was threatened by the front desk (I videotaped the threat) and will take it to the next level. Aside from the issue above. Here’re few things if someone think about staying there: — expect no room service without paying money (one towel only is available. You use it for your face, body, and/or floor… (your choice) — coffee cups left used for four straight night without being cleaned. — if you complain about any of the services, you’ll get punished by removing the hot water kettle and not having your only towel changed … I was paying to the maid extra money to have my towel replaced. — no room service is available after 7PM. Be prepared.

Amazing location and the team. Definitely recommend.
