Location OK, room was unacceptable This is the worst hotel room I have been to and I have already given feedback to the hotel and to the agency I booked with. I arrived on 15 of July and the communal area is very smart and clean. The room I was given 504, a single room was unacceptable and I spent 10 nights of hell. The weather was hot in Riga but the room was extremely hot and not because of the weather but because of the corner of the decaying building and all the hot and noisy pipes, which is the view from several rooms. The average temperature was 35 + 24 hours a day, the fan provided was useless and noisy. I believe that the 4 stars given to this 1 star hotel on my opinion is not because of the majority of the rooms but because of the ones they show on the pictures. I am going to make huge amounts of complaints, I ended going to the chemist in Riga because the heat caused me vomiting, diarrhea… I couldn't relax or sit even for 5 minutes in the room. It is disgusting. Its not fare and it has ruined my holiday. No doubt that I will provide feed back wherever it's necessary.

Good location: near the cars and railway stations. Clean, tidy rooms. Great breakfast.

Great location, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and basic amenities. The "upgrade" for an extra 10 euro is not as nice as the photos, but could be helpful for those who prefer air conditioning. The fan works well in the basic rooms though. Overall, good stay.

Why the sweet-cheap Room Rate was not a "Bargain, " we quickly noticed when we opened the window in the evening: The Noise of the passing Trams and especially the nocturnal construction noise were very disturbing, especially since we were open at night due to the Heat at night. Windows had to sleep. The Rooms were clean, the Early Stucco buffet for the Price ok. The Staff very accommodating. But the Location of the Hotel is great: Fast at the Train station and the Market Halls, just as quickly in the Old town. The Number 22 Bus from the Airport and back almost stops outside the Hotel.

Good place for business travellers. Standard rooms are not so big but enough for the short stay for one person. Breakfast not impressive I believe will be better to walk to the near cafe's. Service very friendly. So not for the romantic getaway but ok for the business.

Great location, near to the station and old town. The room was comfortable but mine was a little on the small size. The bathroom and shower were also very small. Probably the cheap rooms we ordered. The breakfast was ok, if a little cold.

Enjoyed, nice hotel. Staff (receptionist, cleaners and waiters) all very friendly, thank you. I would return to this hotel, when I come back to Riga. Easy to get there and from with airport bus 22 and well situated for using the good public transportation, trams and busses.

Slightly Dusty hotel Inriga, however, with good location for exploring the city on foot. Staff some very complacent.

Hotel actually relatively good, maybe a bit dusty but clean and relatively tidy. Good breakfast. Staff endeavored, but not always successful in his endeavor. Strangely, no caffeine-free coffee available. Our room was unfortunately out back, so no nice view, but probably quieter than forward to the street. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Very central location. Car not necessary.

Very disappointed! Staff was very incorrect, not with us, but I have watch when administrators disrespectful behaved with tipsy client. For such big hotel just two free parking spaces?!?! Not even stop place for check in front door! Room was clean, but very hot! Air conditioning not working. Breakfast 9.30 was cold and no choice! I even have to ask water! It was my the worst hotel in Riga!

You can live at reduced prices! Tram rumbles, parking 20 euros a day! The rooms are small.

Sort of old World elegance. The staircase with inlaid Windows on each landing are really beautiful. Good food and drink, excellent location beside the old town. All public transport at your door, bus, trams and railway make this a great place to stay. Bedrooms good size with ensuite.

Really nice hotel with extremely helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast… but if you’re staying in a room that overlooks the street prepare yourself not just for tram noise but vibrations that can be felt, even in bed.

Very nice hotel at an excellent location, 5mins walk from the old city and its attractions. The executive suite was large with a separate living room and very clean & tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the average breakfast & restaurant but overall a very nice hotel that I'd recommend.

Great hotel! Upgraded room on arrival free of charge! Very clean and pleasent staff speaking good english also, on the edge of old town and within walking distance to most bars an shops! 15% discount for hotel guests at the restaurant bar is also bonus would stay again!

Great hotel in the perfect location. (close to bars, shops and train station).
Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely large rooms in a period building.
Only 1 tiny criticism — please move the picture in room 402 up by a foot as evertime we sat on the settee we banged our heads on it. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
