Riga Hostel Centre Hostel

We were quite big group of people. 1) Even if agreed before hand with hostel of having breakfast — not provided. First of all, they don't have space for more than 10 people having breakfast at the same time.
2) Some of people, also me, were missing towels for shower and blankets for bed. Answer at reception was simple "We don't have more! ''
3) Lady with dark hair at reception, very rude.
4) Money missing which was hidden in my luggage (I was not the only person with missing money during our stay).

Great location in the center not far from the bus & train station. The staff was friendly & healpful, always on hand. Amenities were great & clean. Great value too.

Four people had their money stolen. The police came.

Very good location. Very clean and friendly hosts. Very quiet if you consider that a plus. Really neat and tidy washrooms. Slightly smaller lockers if that is a concern.

Great hostel. Near the bus station and train station. There is a dormitory and private rooms for one or two people. There is a small kitchen with everything you need. WI Fi works, everywhere almost everywhere (can not catch bad in the farthest room for two, but it is as quiet as possible). The hostel is on the 4th floor, the elevator is. There is a luggage room, if you arrive sooner or later, you can use it. Stayed in it three times.

(IS) although it is a bit outdated, the place is comfortable and clean, and the staff friendly. Nothing wrong to be hostel cheapest of all Riga! () Even though it's a bit old, the place is comfortable and clean, also the staff is gentle. Not bad for the cheapest hostel in Riga!

Lovely hostel. I am with my wife in this hostel the second time we both like everything here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Reservation made in advance (19fevralja). Eating in the place, almost like "at home". Secondly, the location of the hostel: Lift, center (near the station, all kinds of transport and the possibility of direct access to any area not only Riga, but also in Jurmala. Near the central market.
But there is a serious drawback: the interior walls miss all the sounds. The hostel staff should have pristrunivated unconscious visitors and first of all uneducated teenagers.

Friendly staff, free tea, coffee. The room was very clean and comfortable.
If you come very early, you can leave the suitcase in the locker, waiting for the room to be released, and drink tea. The girls at the front desk are very smiling and friendly.

I would never suggest to book this place. The receptionists are just horrible, the reception is just one meter away from the kitchen and if you are a group they are always yelling at you to be quiet, to clean up… Even if you are going to do it but you havent even finished or it is only 8 pm. There are not enogh showers and toilets, no oven… Bad experience overall.

The hostel is nice but the service received is a pity, they threw us out of bad ways to pick up our luggage and were very edges at any time.

Good hostel with inexpensive prices in the center of Riga.

A very warm and comfortable place to stay for. Friendly staff and situated directly opposite the central station. Free coffee and tea and a refrigerator to use. Only some of the bathrooms are a little small and old, but nonetheless a classy hostel.

No parking space But they claim they does on the website. Creaky floor and not enough toilets or bathrooms. The website says there are parking spaces but not really! The floors are noisy, people are moving, and the room's not enough to get to the bathroom.

Feels like home and the reception people are fantastic; very kind and gave us lots of local and tourist tips! Also, one of the receptionist gave us tips on finding the metal scene! Thank you so much!

I stayed there twice! Definitely recommend;) Comfortable beds, a lot of toilets and showers, has a kitchen. Hostel offer towels and coffee/tea (they also have a filter coffee)

I would definitely recommend to stay in this hostel during a short visit to Riga, it has a great location. Very close to the city center, bus station and market. The staff is really friendly, they provide you with many thinks, such as free coffee, tea and filtered water. The kitchen is fully equipped The whole hostel is clean and safe (specially for girls, I never felt insecure, even though I shared a mix room). The only downside is the smell from MacDonald at the entrance : (

Located right next to the city center and the train station, this hostel feels like you live in a student commune, which we liked very much.

Friendly personal and clean environment. I stayed for 3 nights and it was a great place, since the location is phenomenal. I recommend this place to everybody; to backpackers, travellers or people like me that simply need to pass time. The hostel is just not that big, but it's not crowded.

Hostel clean and close to downtown. Bathrooms and spacious beds. Nice staff Nevertheless bruillantes roads with open windows.
No display to find the front door: The access door is located in the middle of McDonald's (not to be missed)

Nice place to stay, the staff is really helpful, the place is well located and clean. Some things to improve: the internet connection is too slow and the beds are a little uncomfortable. I would definitely come back here.

Super place to stay and inexpensive. Love the room and cleanliness. Host are very helpful. No breakfast but still you could have morning coffee for free and tea.

This hostel has a very good location near the bus and train stations and the old town. Our room was very small, but the price is right. Two negatives were curtains that didn't kerp out any light, which meant a very early morning, and sullen helpful staff.

There were kids in the four person room. I liked everything, clean, beds comfortable, warm, and very pleasant girls at the reception. Breakfast now not.

This place is not an Australian bar. Beer yes, the rest of it like watching some snowboard videos, more boring snowboard videos and arrogant bartenders.

Great place for drinking beer (mostly local beer). Sometimes they have great events like Australian day.

I had a single room. Bravo hostel! Double bed, perfect clean linen, cleanliness throughout the hostel. Communicative girls at the reception. Great Breakfast. Four days full of fun. I advise everyone to stay there. Myself there again I will.

Such a good hostel. Stayed for 3 nights, really homely feel. Great showers and helpful staff. Would definately stay there again if I go back to Riga. Thanks Riga Hostel Great price too.

Nice, pulitoin Center … 1 free beer and pub in hostel with fabulous music … only flaw the stairs … rise to go in the room is horrendous hahahh.

A wonderful place to stay: very central, clean and cheap.

Very clean and tidy. Great value and the staff were very helpful.

Breakfast for normal hostel. The bed Squeak. Ventilation is bad. Common areas for adaptation. Time of beginning of November heating in the rooms is not included is cool enough. Many people in mostly Russians while all inscriptions exclusively in English-this is the shovenizm. But at reception speak Russian.

Great hostel — clean, good value for money, convenient location and best of all welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are quite spacious — unlike some hostels where they jam in as many beds in a room as possible. Lots of toilets and showers. And the included breakfast is very nice — toast (do it yourself), several different kinds of cream cheese and jam, coffee, cereal, fresh veggies and juice. I can't wait to go back to Riga and I will certainly stay at Riga Hostel again.
